A beautiful apartment in a great location inside the city walls. A wonderful kitchen, comfortable bedroom with an en suite bathroom, and a large living/dining room with a small terrace. Very easy check in, and communication with Carmen was terrific.

Large, well fitted out apartment in excellent location. We enjoyed the space and historic building atmosphere. Our trip coincided with the devastating fires surrounding Bordeaux (our thoughts are with those affected) but we had to leave early to minimise health issues associated with the thick smoke.

Couldn't have been more pleased with choosing this beautiful apartment for our 3 day trip to Bordeaux. The place was clear and gorgeous, classic architecture with high ceilings, huge windows with a small balcony over the quiet street outside. Huge living and dining room. Very well appointed kitchen fully loaded and ready for cooking a full meal although we ate out. Loved the fresh orange juice press. Beautiful new walk-in shower with large vanity and plenty of storage. The bed and lines were super comfortable - my wife is picky with mattresses and this one was firm but comfortable, just great. Our host provided clear instructions by email along with one of the best 'check-in' info binders we've seen, on the table when we arrived. Easy access by Tram right from the train station about 20 min, and such a great location right in the middle of the Saint-Michel area. We had the best visit to Bordeaux and this beautiful apartment was a key reason.

Beautiful flat in interesting, central area

Great location in a quiet street, within easy reach of Bordeaux sights etc.We loved the big living room. Not too bothered by the creaky floorboards above, nor smell of drains, but the huge puddle at the street door was impossible to cross with dry feet!

Superb location

Big apartment two floors up ( no elevator) in cobblestoned central historical area of Bordeaux. Renovated with all modern kitchen, bathroom. Furniture could be more comfy and the bathroom needs a fan (moldy smell) but that’s common in very old buildings. Management very responsive. Super for 2 people.

Our payment site is correct and reliable, we have been working with Abritel for 10 years. You have had payment restrictions with your bank. It seems very bad of you to leave a comment like that, knowing that there may be incidents with our future clients, who think that we are not reliable in payment. Your comment hurts us and on top of that you did not even rent or stay in the apartment.

Great location but not luxurious

We stayed here for three nights. I have stayed in many apartments before all over the world and I was expecting at least the bed to be comfortable and to find a sufficient amount of toiletries. I had to wash my hands with shampoo because they only give you one soap for two sinks! The bed is a simple mattress with two small pillows. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the bed is very close to the bathroom and there's no door just a curtain. The location is great due to the proximity to Saint James St. where you can find many shops and cafes. Communication was good and I never saw anyone, and we were able to check in and out by ourselves. Unfortunately,I feel that I paid too much for this place.

Spacious apartment in a good location.

We had excellent communication with our hosts before and during our rental. Carmen met us at the apartment and did a thorough orientation and the house manual was very helpful, especially for the appliances that are quite different from ours in North America. The host was very responsive to a couple of issues that we raised during our stay (cleanliness in a couple of places and supplies that were missing) and I am sure that these will be rectified. The apartment is easy to find and close to the tram lines, but also within easy walking distance of all of the sites in the historic centre of Bordeaux. It is just outside the main tourist area and is quite quiet. There are many good restaurants a short walk away and Carmen pointed us toward local markets where we could buy great produce and food for cooking at home. The apartment is very large and comfortable. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped. The shower is great! Bordeaux is a wonderful city and we would love to visit again!

Quiet, spacious apartment on a charming street

The photos absolutely capture how lovely this apartment is: a gorgeous old building updated with all the modern conveniences yet preserves its period architectural details. The location is a quiet residential cobblestoned street, with cafes, the river, and historical monuments just a short walk away.
