Beautiful, Spacious Villa
This beautiful villa lived up to expectations. Inma the owner met us at the property and although she does not speak English she showed us around and conveyed that her son spoke English if there were any problems.
The villa looks just like the pictures although the garden is even better and was much admired by passers by.
A small area has been screened off for private sunbathing with comfortable sunbeds.
All the furniture was really comfortable including the beds.
All the bedding and towels were really good quality and appeared brand new.
The villa was really spacious and could easily have accommodated 6or7 people as there was a bed settee in the dining room.
There were plenty of utensils but no kettle. halogen hob which heated water in a pan quickly so no real issues.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi was slow and no English tv channels.
The communal pool was lovely, clean and well looked after .Had it to myself most of the time. Good size too.
The location was great - 200yds to various bars, restaurants and supermarket.
Food in all the restaurants was great and everyone spoke English and was really friendly.
You could manage without a car as there is a good bus service into Playa Blanca.
However having a car means you can explore the island which is definitely worthwhile.
Haria and Teguise markets are worth a visit for artesan products and cheap presents.
Omar Sharif's house a must just for the sheer beauty of the area.
Jardin de Cactus is fascinating.
Try some of the little bars off the beaten track - great tapas and cheap.
Can't wait to return.
