Amazing Views and Accommodations

We absolutely loved this VRBO property! We booked it for a Spring Break getaway with my spouse and my mom and we were thrilled with the amazing home and the fantastic views of the ocean! The house has windows throughout the home that face the ocean and the sunsets are absolutely stunning! We spent a lot of our time just gazing at the incredible views from the house. The bedroom setup is great for two couples, as there is a bedroom and primary bath upstairs and a nice bedroom with it's own bath on the lower level. The deck from the upstairs primary bedroom offers fantastic views of the ocean! Actually, there is no bad view in this house! The house is nicely furnished and the kitchen has every item you can imagine needing. There is a beautiful gas fireplace off of the kitchen that we enjoyed during our stay. We loved the hot tub and enjoyed a soak while taking in the ocean views. If you ever want to imagine what it feels like to live the life of luxury, this is the house! The house offers a lot of privacy, and we enjoyed that aspect, as we wanted to escape from the noise of city living. The architecture of the home is truly something to marvel! We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay in the Above and Beyond home, it definitely lives up to the name. I hope that the home doesn't have any development next door as that would definitely impact the view and the privacy! We hope to return to this incredible home again in the future.Thank you! Alisa

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home interior well maintained. Exterior not so much. Atrium area needs a lot of work. Outdoor fire pit and chairs covered in cob webs. Lower level wind brake glass so dirty in some areas you can't see through it. In general not the condition one would expect given the price point.

Clean as a Whistle

I have to say that the inside of the home is very clean, was well kept up and the kitchen was well stocked. We were very impressed with presentation on arrival. I we had planned on using the hot tub but our nights were far too misty, windy and cold to go out. As the description of the home says there are lots of stairs. Easy for us but maybe not for others.

Reprieve from the heat & fires

As evacuees from the Park Fire, we were very pleased that we had reserved this property prior to it's start. Above and Beyond is a very nice property with unique improvements and design. Overall it was very comfortable - a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, clean. A few minor repairs needed (door knob next to garage; hot tub cover needs replacing) but nothing major. Weather did not cooperate for us as we were socked in all week and temperature never got above 62 degrees. If you like fog, this was the place to be. A few miles inland it was sunny and warmer. Dillon Beach is great for dogs and running. We enjoyed our time here and thankfully our home survived the fire. A few of our neighbors were not so lucky. :(

Great-Quirky in the Best Way

Some wear and tear from being a rental-a few sliding doors hard to open, lights burnt out, cobwebs in high ceilings, etc. View and patios are amazing, courtyard area is great for dogs. Really nice kitchen for a rental. Cheap of them not to provide towels for hot tub use- we drove but if you are flying in from out of town this could be an issue and for the price per night they should just provide those towels...

Family weekend getaway

Overall great experience. One of the pullout mattresses was a bit uncomfortable for the adults but worked well for the kids. Hot tub location and views were amazing, however the only downside was it was only a 3 person hottub or at least only fit 3 adults comfortably.

Relaxing with great views

The home is very relaxing. Amazing views from all decks. Enjoyed the peacefulness and the deer coming down the valley in the early evening. Nice to have all the little amenities to make it a perfect stay. We will be back!

Perfect for larger groups

If you have 4-8 people, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place Dillon Beach. Upper and lower levels nicely divide the space. Every amenity you could want is included. Gorgeous water views. Super clean. Hot tub is a plus. One heads up: After entering the house, you are still outside and need to walk down a long flight of stairs to get to the actual inside entrance. This was an inconvenience but we soon got used to it.

Great place to stay

Above and Beyond is an eclectic and interesting place to stay that grew on us during our days there. Numerous seating areas with great views, an easy to work in kitchen that was well-equipped, and overall very clean and with good amenities. Good ocean views and we enjoyed looking at the wildlife in the gully, such as deer and jackrabbits. The star viewing at night was impressive.

It is Above and Beyond

We had a wonderful restful stay at Above and Beyond. The location is perfect with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. Loved seeing families of deer hopping around the backyard. Bed quality was amazing.

Gorgeous views

Rain, shine, fog, storm, this house offers awesome views, warmth and security. Lots of "conversation spaces" to hang out and relax inside and outside. Lower floor is an entire suite so couples or families with kids can have their own area to hang out. Would love to know the story on the design of this home as there are few if any right angles. :) The first night we arrived we couldn't get the fireplace to work and within a half hour they had a handyman come out and fix it. We'd definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Beautiful vacation home

We had a wonderful stay. The house is quiet, peaceful, fully stocked, pleasantly decorated, has interesting corners and nooks. The view on the balcony is gorgeous!
