We love the location as we normally stay at one ski hill, but we’re unable to get our regular two bedroom condo. So this condo was a perfect alternative. With that said, I was a bit disappointed with the “second” bedroom. It was extremely small and luggage was not even able to be put in the room so we used the little side room off of the kitchen as a closet since we were only a party of four. The condo overall was not clean. Too many issues to list. There was a lightbulb out in the master bathroom which was annoying, but we survived. The condo is in desperate need of new bed linens, and perhaps new mattresses. This is just an honest review but I think it’s a great space and a great location!

Great property for summer or Winter vacation!

This property was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice. Was much bigger than expected! Beds were comfy and large showers and tubs. Kitchen had everything you’d need to cook meals. Very convenient to the gondola and other sister properties. We will definitely stay again!!

Ski trip

Crystal Peak is my favorite place to stay on peak 7. The convenience to the lifts, ski lockers, ski rental, heated underground garage, and restaurant next door make this the perfect place for our family to stay. I like that it is less busy than the Grand Lodge next door. We do not typically use all the other amenities so the Crystal Peak works great for us.

Fall Destination Wedding

Conveniently located with underground parking. Condo was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Check-in and Check-out was flawless. No air-conditioning which is understandable, some days however were fairly warm, but it cooled off quickly at night and with the help of some box fans from the closet, it was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Excellent location

The space is perfect and the view is incredible. Check in: It's inconvenient going downtown to get and drop off keys. They also gave the wrong information about where to get the parking pass, resulting in a lot of wasted time. Beds: Both beds in this condo are comfortable. The pillows weren't great though. Kitchen: This kitchen is beautiful and there is plenty of space for cooking. It also has lots of utensils, but they're cheap. The tongs were so thin, for example, that they couldn't hold a piece of meat. Washcloths would also be helpful and a crockpot would be a great addition to the kitchen for ski season. It would also be a nice touch to stock some cooking basics. It's so helpful when rentals do that! Instructions: It would have been helpful to have a note in the condo with the WIFI password, instructions for the TV, recommendations for the area, and even tips for visitors, like they are a bagless community. It would be even more helpful if they left a couple reusable bags for renters who didn't know to travel with their own. WIFI: The WIFI isn't very good. We tried different computers and phones, and none of them worked very well. I did find that the WIFI in the lobby was good when I needed to work, but I would have liked better WIFI in the condo. Even trying to watch streamed movies in the evening was nearly impossible as they frequently stopped to buffer. Although the things I mentioned are small overall, at this price, I have higher expectations.

Location, location, location...

A lovely condo looking over the slopes on Peak 7. Perfect location for mixed ski families, with some who want to ski all day and others who want just a couple laps then a hot tub, book, and maybe take the gondola down to explore town. Within the building itself, this unit has a good location, slopeside, just over the hot tubs, and slightly to the end opposite the (often-thumping) apres bar at Sevens -- which was tons of fun, but I just imagine inescapably loud for units just above. Everything was lovely -- a bit older building but mountain-cozy, with lots of pillows, throws, and a nice big kitchen. A few FYIs. . . Vacasa originally gave us just two keys but was able to print an additional one, which we wished we would have asked for on check-in. Also, for light sleepers, the groomers do work overnight and were, at times, quite loud. I enjoyed watching them work under the bright stars, but light sleepers may not be likewise amused. Finally, for hardcore skiers, Independence chairlift, just a few feet from the building's locker room door, opens a bit earlier than others we know, around 830am. Felt like we had the first couple runs to ourselves. Overall a great stay!

Colorado ski vacation

Perfect ski in ski out unit. Great location on the mountain, so easy to go out on the slopes as the peak 7 lifts are right out front. You have to go in town first to get the keys, but it was quick and easy. They only had 2 keys, 4 keys would be better since we often got separated on the slope, but not a big problem. Overall, a great rental!

Location, location, location

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It’s a beautiful facility and unit with perfect location at base of Independence lift. Nice to walk out and be on slopes immediately. A few challenges: - There is a front desk at the property but because you aren’t a member, you must check in at a different location. Not an issue, just not convenient. - There were 8 of us in the room, we had 3 washcloths upon arrov. - There were never any towels at the hot tub. - We had 4 adults but were given 2 keys, they did give us more when we asked but had to go back to Vacasa to get those. - The listing advertises lockers available for ski storage. One locker didn’t lock and one wouldn’t unlock. The layout of the unit is much better than it read to me online. There are 2 bedrooms with king beds, a separate alcove with a pull out bed and the n the sofa bed in the living room. It worked out really well for us. Even with the challenges listed, we would stay here again. I would

Great location

Property itself was great but WAY understaffed. Not once was anyone at the front desk of our property. Not a huge deal as we only had one issue....the internet wasn't working for the first 3 days. And cell reception in the condo was not great. Needed to be on patio. So tough to search for things without going outside. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, Mountain View and accommodations

Great place for our family to stay for a family wedding. Very quiet, easily accessible. It got warm…and we couldn’t seem to control the heat so we had to open windows, which seemed wasteful. But it had everything we needed and we loved the place. Would definitely stay here again.

Price Trumps Small Inconveniences

Nice unit facing Peak 7. Spacious and clean. Found only 1 full size glass in the cupboard (there were many small juice and wine glasses). Three night stay meant hand washing it for each use. The unit also did not have any detergent to run the dishwasher during the stay. Pots and pans could use a refresh as well for those wishing to cook meals instead of eating out. Fine for the low, quiet season but would look for better appointed if staying with family and paying up for ski season rates.

Fine Print - no ski in/ski out on checkout day

The condo is actually pretty nice and the location is great. There were a few issues. 1) The heater never modulated heat. It was 15 degrees outside, but the whole condo felt like 85 degrees. We had to open the door on the balcony to modulate the temperature since the thermostats appeared to be "dummy" thermostats as they didn't appear to turn off the heat even though the temperature was down all the way. 2) The condo is a great Ski-in/Ski-out location and checkout is a normal 10am. That's fine. No problem with that. However, they require you to turn in the magnetic key card at 10am to a location 10-15 minutes away, thus you need to leave the parking garage and can't return since you need to turn in both keys. but you can't use the ski locker or parking on checkout day because of this. This isn't fully disclosed when renting as I would assume we'd have use of the ski locker and parking for the last day. The instructions say you must turn in the key cards or risk a $50 fine for each, and also in the same instructions, it says you can leave the keys on the kitchen counter. I had to call up Vacasa and they were also confused. I understand the checkout time at 10:00 to make sure the condo is cleaned for the next renter, but limiting the parking and ski locker doesn't make as much sense. The maid isn't cleaning the ski locker downstairs which was evident since the locker's lock was broken. If you "need" that parking space for the maid at checkout time, disclose that, but allow the renter to use the ski locker for the day until 4:00 since that's check in time and you'll be providing an assumed service. I know it's not a hotel and there are obvious differences, but those differences should be disclosed at booking time, not when you check in. Also, review your instructions since they are conflicting. So, in essence, for 3 nights, you only get the ski-in, ski-out capability for 2 days. Easily a policy change could make this a no-brainer 5 star review by either allowing access to the ski locker on check-in day or on check out day, thus allowing for you to use the ski-in ski out ability for 3 days if you are staying for 3 nights. Also, fix your heater, I'm guessing that's costing the owner a lot of extra $$.
