Needs some attention

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property great overall, clean, great location.Outdoor spaces need some attention. Cushions outside had mold and mildew on them, ones on roof too disgusting to sit on. Obvious water damage on ceiling in living room. Ice maker in main kitchen and one in wet bar do not work. We had to get ice from ground floor. Cold in master bedroom while hot in other third floor bedroom. Only thermostat on second floor. Contract states two parking spaces on larger properties, but they only gave us one and did not make it known that these properties only include one until we arrived even though I was asking where to park a third vehicle. We took an Uber from airport so we would not have issues with a "third" car (rental).

Family Vacation with Friends

This property was awesome! The location could not be beat as it was so close to everything - shops, restaurants, walk to beach. The house itself was gorgeous with upgraded furnishings and it provided everything we needed including 5 full baths! The appliances were top notch (our favorite was the refrigerator!!). We booked through Home Owner's Collection which was a great decision on our part as the whole experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend this property to all my friends and family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy check in experience and the home was ready when expected. The 3 level home was plenty to accommodate 10 people. This is also a great location to all shops, food, and the beach. The only compliant we had was the 3rd story front bedroom did not have air conditioning so it was a pretty warm room. We called to report the issue but maintenance did not come. Thankfully we had a fan from home and we used it to circulate air.

2d Time in Seaside

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2d trip to Seaside and 2d time renting with Homeowner's Collection. Once again the experience did not disappoint and we will be returning. Location was very convenient and the unit was very nice. We encountered a couple of issues with the unit upon arrival but management team took care of them and properly acknowledged and addressed our concerns. Would recommend better shades on windows to keep out bright lights in am but we encounter this in many rentals. We are big fans of Seaside and Homeowner's and plan to be regular guests. I would recommend this unit for 2 family gatherings or with lots of kids.

The number they provide does not connect you to the person that you were just speaking with and they offered no assistance as the week went on. I paid a fortune for the Concierge service with no transparency or clarity what the costs would be to use this service. They just went ahead and charged my CC that I had used to book the property. Trash was not picked up once during our 6 night stay. Not even from the previous renters. I had called the office of Home Owners and they did nothing. The trash company missed the 3 days that they were supposed to pick up.In addition the property description and photos is very misleading. It says that it has 4 bedrooms 5 baths Sleeps 12. Well there is not 4 bedrooms. One of the rooms is closet that they put bunk beds in. We had to find other beds....murphy bed that was in the dining room and a sleeper sofa on the first floor. We had no place just for the children to have their clothes or things other than the main living room in the house.. No one ever checked back with us on trash or my other questions. Beyond that.. it is decorated nicely and great location.

Unbelievable Amenities, Proximity and Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bothy is a must return destination location. So close to town square, the roof top decks provided amazing views and the amenities were top of the top. 80 inch screen TV (I’m guessing) was great for our large group and the decor with its Scot and British influence was just plain cool. The kitchen gave us anything a chef would need. Beds Ultra comfortable and bathrooms were amazing (multiple shower heads in my bedroom made it seem like a spa experience). Most importantly, Amy and the rest of the staff were top notch professionals. So nice and the welcome gift was an amazing surprise. We love The Bothy and will be coming back here!

Family thanksgiving

Perfect spot to gather with family. Very close to town and the beach but set back in a quiet area. Wonderful kitchen, dining and living areas made it a fun place to cook and enjoy time together. The rooftop was also a favorite!

Disappointing stay

My family loves Seaside. We have been vacationing there since the 1990's. We have stayed at the Bothey (now Allora) on 3 or 4 occasions. All of those occasions except for this one were great. This time there were a considerable number of roaches on the lower level of the home. I advised the Homeowners collection folks and they only offered to provide us with roach spray and a roach hotel box for us to use in the home. They told us that their policy is that they could not have an exterminator to treat the home while we were staying there. They didn't offer to move us to another home and didn't offer to reimburse us for a portion of the fee we paid because we were uncomfortable staying in the lower part of the home. Accordingly, I am disappointed and will not stay in another home offered by Homeowners Collections. Bernard Taylor

Quick off summer

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Bothy cottage in Seaside. I was given the wrong lockbox code, so was unable to check in at first, but the manager of the property helped us very promptly. The kitchen area was excellent and the layout of the cottage was great for myself and the 8 teenage girls with me to have a very enjoyable stay. One of the upstairs bedrooms has very little air conditioning, but a fan was provided. Would stay here again!
