Welcome to the charming and inviting Whatcha Dune! This peaceful, family-friendly cottage is centrally located, next to the Seaside Chapel and Ruskin Park, and sleeps 10 guests. Equal distance to East and West pools, as well as the stunning beach, this beach cottage offers everything Seaside, FL!
Guests can arrive and park in private parking to spy this light blue, beach cottage, decked out with an open, furnished front porch, as well as a shaded side and back yard, both featuring outdoor dining spaces! Step inside and into an open-concept, airy floor plan on the first level. To the left of the entry, there is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a breakfast bar seating four. A breakfast nook off to the side provides a corner nook for two, perfect for morning coffee! The kitchen blends seamlessly with the adjacent dining area, offering comfortable seating for 8 around a generous dining table. The living room has plenty of seating to accommodate both family and friends and is flanked by the large side open porch and a rear deck open porch, as well. A large, furnished side deck runs the length of the home with Adirondack seating. At the rear of the home, off the living room, is an open deck that runs the width of the living room for your outdoor dining featuring two outdoor tables that each seat four, perfect for grilling out after a long day at the beach! The living spaces are completed by a full bathroom and plenty of storage round out the downstairs plan.
The second floor features three bedrooms, all with private TVs, and another large screened-in furnished porch. The second floor includes a generous primary (king) bedroom with a full bath, a flat-screen mounted TV, and opens onto a shaded screened-in, furnished porch. The second bedroom, a queen, features plenty of storage, a flat-screen mounted TV, and shares a large double vanity Jack and Jill bathroom with the third bedroom. The queen bedroom also enjoys access to the screened porch. (The third bedroom has a crib in the closet for use.) The third bedroom features two twin beds (can be configured as a king upon request), plenty of storage, and its own private mounted flat-screen TV and access to the shared Jack and Jill bathroom.
The third-floor bonus bedroom space boasts two twin beds, a full bed, and a sitting area with a flat-screen TV, offering a special getaway place for the kiddos. Two-story porches run nearly the length of the home, with the first-floor porch being open and the second-level screened, both providing the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. The staircase leading up to the third floor is easily accessible and provides a smooth transition between the levels of this cozy beach retreat.
