Overall we were pretty disappointed. While the check in and check out procedures were easy and well communicated and the house was in a great neighborhood very convenient to local attractions, the house itself left much to be desired. House was not as clean as one would expect for price of rental plus the extra cleaning fee. Immediately upon arrival we discovered the advertised access to 3rd floor deck was locked by owner. This was not communicated prior to arrival. Home layout was awkward since living room and kitchen on separate floors not conducive for family gathering.
Lots of wear and tear that could have used some TLC (towel bars and toilet paper holders in bathrooms coming off walls, curtain rods bent, burn hole in love seat, dining table chairs falling apart, floor mat as you walk in front door is a very slippery trip hazard, door locks on deck sliders not functioning well and slider screens ripped). Dirty dishes in kitchen cabinets. The cabinets themselves could use a thorough wipe down inside and out and good cleaning out/organizing. The washer and dryer needed a good cleaning as well. We experienced the musty smell on first floor, as stated in other reviews. Very noisy house as sound traveled easily throughout…plumbing, hot water tank running loudly.
Would not rent again.
