The apartment was clean, roomy, and had a great set up for our group. It is an easy walk to/from a metro stop. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. There are supplies for young children, which is always nice to see. The living room has an air conditioner and the bedrooms have fans for hot weather. But it was advertised as much closer to the Vatican area where we were spending most of our time than it actually is, resulting in unexpected travel costs. The host also needs to give better entry and welcome instructions such as how to access the WiFi. He also changed the timing of when he would provide access codes and delayed in responding to questions. We had minor issues with some equipment (washing machine, a door handle came off, one shower sprayer had to be handheld) and the kitchen could use some more basic supplies (potholders, etc.).

This property was in a great location. It was in a nice neighborhood and very close to the Metro. The property itself needs some maintenance. The beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable. The showerhead leaked and made th bathroom very wet. Hosts weren’t very quick to answer communication. Overall, it was a fine stay.

Great apartment is Rome that needs some updates

The location is great! The neighborhood is safe and we walked to every sites and restaurant. The apartment is also big and quiet so it was perfect for our group of 6. But is needs a deep cleaning and some love. When reading the reviews, other reviewers mentioned it but no changes have been made. The furniture is old and is falling apart. 2 door knobs keep falling because their is not screws. The bathrooms were dirty (there is black mold around the tub), the dust is building up in the corners, behind the furniture, and moldings. The master bed frame, it's like a cat ripped of the fabric sides. This apartment is amazing but a little love and care would make it stand out.

Appartement propre, avec 3 chambres 1 canapé convertible tres confortable dans le salon, 2 salles de bains et une cuisine bien équipée.Situé tout proche du metro Lepanto, à un arret du Vatican et 5 de la gare de Termini.Le bus numero 30 permet de rejoindre le centre historique (place Navola) en 20 minutes.

Some adjustments would make it fantastic

I will start with the positives - fantastic location and huge flat. It was good in general but some things let it down unfortunately. Beds weren’t great, the main faux leather bed is peeling badly and lumpy pillows and bobbly old sheets. The kitchen had some rustpaglasses.abefantastictemperamental.

Excellent emplacement au calme

Le logement est très bien placé comme indiqué sur l'annonce et au calme. Chaque chambre a un volet roulant. La literie est bonne mais les lits pour une personne sont étroits. Il y a une cafetière avec dosettes avec des dosettes fournies pour le premier petit déjeuner et une cafetière à l'Italienne pour une personne. Une bouteille de bienvenue était offerte. Nous étions 5 personnes et aucune n'a pas pu se connecter au wifi de l'appartement. Mais pour nous, ce n'était pas important. Je recommande cet appartement.

Rome stay

The property was excellent, spacious and well equipped for what we wanted and in a very convenient location. Andrea was really helpful, particularly when organising our taxi transfer to and from the airport which was brilliant and well worth it. I would highly recommend the apartment and wouldn't hesitate in staying there again if ever I visit Rome in the future.

Great location, poor communication

Great location and very clean, but struggled to get a response from owner re how to check-in. Had to go via VRBO customer services when we became concerned a couple of hours before the rental kicked in. The apartment needed a little love. The TV didn’t work as the aerial connection/cable was broken. Light bulbs needed replacing. Only three mugs for tea/coffee, 2 cereal bowls, 2 teaspoons etc.Only one small A/C unit in the lounge for the whole apartment so a bit warm in summer heat. Flagged the lights and TV to the owner, who said he would fix, but didn’t which was a shame. I’m sure all these things could be fixed and then it would be much better. Had a great stay in Rome, but wouldn’t recommend to friends in current state.

Perfect for our family of 5

This place was perfect for us. Host was very easy to work with very helpful. He even helped us with transportation to and from the airport. Place was clean. It was just a short walk to the train and there was a cafe across the street at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location

This apartment was really great and located on a very quiet street but close to the action. The apartment had one broken shower spray holder but everything else made up for the shortcomings. We didn’t figure out how to use the door buzzer until our last day, you have to use the key to get out until you figure it out. Would stay here again for sure!

The apartment is very spacious and in a nice, secure neighborhood.

The apartment is very spacious and clean. The neighborhood is secure and out of the tourist areas. The pros to that is it’s quiet, beautiful and authentic. The cons is that for five seniors it was a task to get around without a larger taxi. Andrea did provide us with taxi company number which was very reliable. The metro is close by, however, if you want to figure that out. We had quite a difficult time with the main doors key as well. All in all though it was a great place to stay for the five of us.

Great location to visit Rome

This roomy apartment is in a quiet area just a couple of blocks from the metro with a grocery store close by. The apartment is large and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Great space, great location

My family of five includes my husband and 3 older kids (ages 18, 19, and 21) and this was the perfect space for us. Andrea arranged a car for us at the airport to bring us to the apartment, which was fabulous. Walking distance to lots of things, but if not, the easy to navigate metro is a block away. Nothing fancy, but also had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

I can’t say enough about this rental. The beds, pillows and location were just what we needed at the end of our travels. Close enough to the airport yet close enough to see the sites of Rome. Easy check in, will definitely stay here again!

Great location

Location was away from the hustle and bustle but just a block away from the Metro and bus lines. Vatican City was about a 20 minute walk. We bought a 7 day pass which was good for both the bus and Metro. Each bus stop has a nice sign with the bus number and all its stops. The apartment was clean and spacious. I highly recommend this apartment.

Nice place to stay

Three adults stayed in this apartment for a week, and we liked it a lot. Pluses: 1) extremely quiet, didn’t hear outside or other apartment noise at all; 2) very nice location, 4 minute walk to subway station; 3) nice, mostly residential neighborhood; 4) two main bedrooms were excellent; 5) high ceilings, rooms were brightly lighted with daylight; 6) spacious; 7) very friendly host who met us outside as we got out of the car driving us from the airport. Suggest you ask the host to arrange a driver from the airport as The apartment is a bit hard to find initially on your own. Negatives: 1) kitchen is tiny, not particularly well equipped, and would be a bit of a challenge to cook a big meal in - but this is Rome, so who’s going to cook in? 2) third bedroom is tiny with relatively little storage space and no place to hang clothes, but the sofa bed opens up and can sleep two; 3) second bathroom is tiny too, but functional with a small but excellent European style shower and plenty of hot water. Be careful when turning in the hot water as it comes out really hot before adjusting.
