This is a nice unit in a great location. As many others have indicated in the center of everything, walking distance to you many of the things that you will want to see in Rome. There are a couple things you should be aware of that did not detract from my stay in the unit (4 people total). As stated in the ad it is in an old and fascinating Palazzo, however that means some walking and stairs to get to the unit even if you use the elevator, so be aware of that. Second, this unit is essentially a very large room with a two "bedroom" loft built into it. The loft has stairs to get to the beds, and the stairs creak quite a bit. There are no doors between the bedrooms but because of the layout they still afford plenty of privacy. The bathroom is "downstairs" from the main sleeping areas. If you are a light sleeper people going up and down the stairs might keep you awake. There is also a sofa bed downstairs right in front of the bathroom, so if you sleep in that bed traffic to the bathroom could be bothersome. This is the bed I slept in, which was very comfortable for a fold-out couch. The upstairs double bed is also very comfortable, I didn't try out the single.Also be aware this owner charges a separate cleaning fee that is not charged by VRBO.As mentioned, I stayed here with three other people and there was plenty of space for all of us. The dining area is small but adequate and the kitchen was great. check in was very easy and convenient, as was departure.
