Vacation

Great stay. House was very nice, our one wish was that it had more kitchen supplies (ie. pots, pans, cooking utensils). We had a wonderful time together staying at this property.

Great property!

We shared the house with another family, all of the children under 5. The layout was perfect and very family friendly. The location was great and we enjoyed the back yard. Easy checkin and responsive hosts

Upon arrival we found the shelf in the refrigerator was broken, the bathroom window would not close, the kitchen sink soap dispenser was disconnected, there was a bar sticking up at the sliding door, the lock on the sliding door did not latch, the washing machine had a draining issue and our laundry was sopping wet, the sani plus toilet required maintenance as it continuously ran and had to be unplugged. The sponge in the kitchen sink was dirty and used from prior stays and the kitchen was not stocked well for out of town guests. Lastly we found a cockroach in the bathroom. Very disappointed for the price of the rental.

We’ve stayed in the neighborhood in various rentals and this by far the most disappointing. Check in code received late, AC unit not working, overall house was not well kept

RI family vacation

The home sleeps 11 (beds were very comfortable) in a nice neighborhood near Scarborough State Beach. We would recommend that you get the RI state beach parking pass, available on line since it is quite a walk. The RI state beach pass allows one vehicle to go in and out as many times as you want each day. You can get it for as many vehicles as you want, the cost separate for each one, but it is a good investment. Order it at least 3 weeks before you go! The home has 2 full baths and a roomy outdoor shower. Some drawbacks were no utensils for the grill and no mixing bowls in the kitchen. The wood table was grimy. We finally put a sheet on it. there was also no cover for the grill It's a great home for families and senior citizens, being 1 floor living and also 4 bedrooms, with one being very roomy and able to accommodate 5 people.(one person would have to be a child due to the bunk bed) The shed had bikes, sand toys and beach chairs to use. Overall, it was a nice place to vacation and we had a great time

Great location near Scarborough Beach

Nice home - fun welcome basket! [Thank you.] Plenty of space and many beds. Great location near beach. Small park with playground and tennis courts around the corner. Patio with table, chairs and sun umbrella. Shed with games. Nice backyard for kids to run around.

Family time by the beach

Met up with our family for some beach and family time with our 1.5, 2.5, 4, and 6 year old kids. Chose this property because of the proximity to the beach and playground as well as having lots of equipment included. We enjoyed the included items for the beach like beach cart, chairs, boogey boards, and umbrella. The walk to the beach was not too bad but we were glad to have the cart and wagon to lug everything and everyone with 4 kids too. The wagon they had was used a lot to get kids to the playground and beach. They also include bikes which was nice, but the two adult bikes are pretty rough. One the tire looked about to burst and the other had pretty bad brakes. The 3 kids bikes seemed to be a bit better but we only used one. There was a very nice trike that fit our 2.5 and 4 year olds well. We also used a few of the yard games and super cute drink cooler. Inside the house fit our needs well. The bunk room seems to be a garage conversion, so it has an exterior type door going to it but that blocked sound pretty well so the kids sleeping didn’t hear us at night and we could keep them in there in the morning while others slept. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, but it would have been nice in my opinion to have some common items like oil and condiments left between guests… it only had salt and pepper… not even coffee was included. I’m more used to @irB&B so maybe this is more common for VRBO or this area? I also wasn’t used to having to supply our own toilet paper and paper towels, but they did tell us that upfront… for the price though it seems like they could stock you up on that stuff as I’m used to with most previous @irB&B rentals. Nice size TVs, but hard to use - plugged in our appleTV which was better. check out by 10am was stressful (11am would be better). We were up early because of the kids and worked all morning but getting all the dishes cleaned and put away and packing everything up for two families of 4 while trying to entertain kids is tough! Check in was between 4-5 which also seems late. Seems like they shouldn’t need that much turn over time since they don’t do the laundry on site for linens (note the sheets were pretty rough) and require you to put away all dishes and take out all trash. Nice welcome bag of goodies when we arrived… seemed like a nice touch with hand written note from the owners, but the management company was very hands off and could have made some things nicer and more convenient. Overall good stay.
