Perfect for yacht crews, production teams and families alike!!! This spacious 5br/4ba, custom built home located in the charming, historic Fishing Village of Thunderbolt, GA which is nestled between downtown Savannah and Whitmarsh Island. Convenient to both the city and the beach, this house is walking distance to Thunderbolt Marina, Tubby's Restaurant & Bar, public boat ramp, shopping & dining as well as the beautiful public riverwalk area along the inter-coastal highway which many believe is the prettiest water view in Savannah. Situated on a corner lot next to a marshfront easement with waterfront views.

The main home features 4br/3ba with vaulted ceilings, working shutters, teak flooring, open kitchen with pantry, breakfast area, and French doors leading to large deck. In-law suite on lower level features 1br/1ba, fully equipped kitchen with island and a separate dining and living room area with private entrance.

There are 3 beautifully appointed seated open air patio areas and views of the marina and marshlands that includes a gas grill. Features ample parking space including 2-car garage and gravel-covered parking pads and several bicycles which may be borrowed from the property.

Lots of room but a bit disappointing

I didn’t love the location and that couple just be me. The house definitely shows wear and tear. So so on cleanliness. Beds uncomfortable. Found several cockroaches during the stay especially in mother in law suite.

Perfect get away spot

Enjoyed our atay

The property was a blessing to use. We enjoyed the space, everyone had room to relax in their own space. My wife and I stayed in the garage apartment, we need that space at our home. I'd recommend this property to my friends

The accomodationd were nice. We found everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. I would like to recommend that the pans be replaced, more eating utencils and the linens updated. We were short on eating utencils and the pans had burnt food left on them. We managed and it didnt harm our trip

Good Times..

The house is amazing! It was clean and roomy with a decent location. My only suggestions would be as follows for the owners:1. Update pots/pans currently with the scratched bottoms they are a health concern. We went an purchase a few since the non-stick was all scratched up.2. Get real shades- I want the safety of knowing that everyone can not see in.Positives:Fully stocked with cleaning supplies, trash bags and other necessities. We would totally rent again.

Best of Both Worlds

We loved the convenience of being less than 15 minutes away from downtown Savannah and 25 minutes away from Tybee. Some reviews mention that area around the home is not desirable - that was not our experience. House is well equipped and is seriously massive. Host was very responsive. We encountered a few hiccups, which were addressed with the host directly and they handled them graciously. We enjoyed our time, thank you.

House was awesome, mattresses were not

The owners and management company were VERY responsive. When we arrived the grill was not on site. We called to advise of the issue and within an hour the owner showed up with a brand new grill and charcoal. No way we could have asked for better service.

Great House for a group

The house was awesome. There was plenty of space for the 8 guys we had there. Unfortunately, we didn't have power when we arrived. The host had emailed that morning, but I missed it because I don't check my email when I drive. It was fixed within a couple hours fortunately. I had also planned to grill out the night we got there, because the listing showed a grill, but the grill was in terrible condition, and rusted out so we weren't able to use it. If I had known, I would have brought my own grill. Overall it was a good experience, and I would go back.

St. Party girls trip

Just feed back from all guest. The guest bathroom on the main level shower was dirty moldy. The beds are low to the ground. There’s dust behind the beds. Someone slept on the couch and she was the only one who was ate up with bugs, not bed bugs but probably dust mites. The garage bedroom had a horrible smell to it, we just got a candle to somehow try to cover the smell. That didn’t work the entire kitchen sink in the garage bedroom suddenly flooded the most of the floor and it was sewer water. Seems the floors have always had some form or water damage. There weee dead bugs in the garage bedroom and so much dirt and dust behind the beds . The house just needs some loving touches and upgrades and cleaning but the bed in the garage was comfortable, the other young ladies all said their beds were comfortable. The house is big and in a quiet neighborhood. If we didn’t experience the sewer water and the horrible smell from it we would have rented agains. The landlord was responsive however a little condescending with her responses when there was an issue. We expressed the smell was very bad and loud. I said we will just burn a candle and just hours later the entire kitchen in garage flooded and the smell was worse. So she seemed bothered when I went to VRBO instead. For me it seems like this has happened before the flooring looks bubbled up as it look like there’s a water issue water damage sewer issue plumbing issues. The garage full of random items but we did rides the bikes

NOT AS PICTURED!

We rented this for 7 women for a girls weekend close to Savannah. We arrived to a house that does not look like the pictures. The neighborhood is run down. The fence has barbed wire on top of it. There is a shack next door that had an old trampoline, Christmas tree, trash, old lawn chairs and numerous other things all in the yard. The house itself had holes in the bathroom, chipping paint in the shower and black marker writing on the walls to go downstairs to the basement. The inside had dirty doors, most of the rooms had doorknobs that were falling off the door or paint chipping. The outside area was dirty with old porch furniture and cushions, hoses all over the yard, an old couch on the side of the house, a used charcoal bag on the ground and dirty folding table against the wall. One of the extra rooms you had to go through the garage to access it and the garage had trash, paint buckets, fishing poles, boxes, couch cushions, bottles of laundry detergent, and other trash. The outdoor area had debris and leaves all over and the landscaping was AWFUL & not taken care of. The owner laughed when i told them about the hole in the wall, black marker, etc. (which we have pictures of everything as proof!). She sent someone to “help” with the dirty wall, holes & doors but by this time we had decided we were not staying here. We booked somewhere else last minute & lost all the money on this place. The owner did not work with us to even refund the cleaning fee! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE!

Friends Trip to Savannah

Overall amazing time, beautiful home, well stocked and managed. Property owners are quick to reply if any issues arise. The house is located in a residential/college area and the surrounding area is a little rundown but this did not effect the stay.

A perfect weekend visiting Savannah

My friends and I had such a lovely time spending 4 days at this beautiful home. It is incredibly spacious, maybe more so than we realized, and clean. It was easy to Uber into Savannah daily and the property is right next to the University. My favorite part was the common spaces, the porch is perfect for sipping coffee, reading books, an afternoon nap…this home totally fits the Savannah charm!! Thank you for an incredible stay!

We had a great time celebrating our grandmother's 75th birthday together as a family. The house had everything we needed and then some. The layout was ideal for our family and the location was convenient for all. We highly recommend dinner at Tortugas Island Grille down the street.

This house is beautiful and with lots of space to gather in one area or spread out throughout.

Great experience from the beginning to the end. We didn't have any problems while staying. The property is beautiful and large for big groups. This house looks just like the pictures listed as advertised. I would definitely book again!!!

Interesting house

The house had an eclectic taste in decor but was definitely a topic of conversation. The furniture was low to the ground which was difficult at times for the taller members of the party. The main level dishwasher did have mold even after we tried to clean it so we hand washed everything. Overall it was a nice stay but I’m not sure if we would return.
