*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing a property modernization project. Construction may occur daily between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including weekends if needed, and guests may experience construction noise and minor inconveniences. Outdoor amenities (excluding the hot tub) are currently closed and are expected to reopen in Spring 2026. Dates and timelines are subject to change.

Sundestin Unit 208 is directly on the beachfront with a private second-floor balcony with partial views of the Gulf of Mexico! Upon entering the unit, you will see the bedroom just to the right offering a cozy king bed with triple-sheeted bedding and tiled floors. There is a full bathroom ensuite to this unit offering a shower tub combo as well as a single vanity. The living room offers a queen sofa sleeper, a large flat-screen TV, and a DVD player. You can prepare family meals with a fully equipped kitchen with full-size white appliances and a generous supply of housewares. You will love that you can take the stairs to the first floor and pop out to one of two pools, go to the water feature pad. So for a great place to take in the sunsets and dip your toes in the sand, stay at Sundestin Unit #208.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Ongoing construction and amenity closures are to be expected. Construction is predicted to be completed Spring 2026.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great Vacation

Destin Crash Pad

If you are looking for somewhere to sleep, and possibly shower this is the perfect place for you. I booked this place for my son and I. It was not family appropriate. Vacasa is slow to respond to concerns and maintenance issues. I spent hours on the phone and via text reporting issues and getting the run around. There was mold in the fridge and shower. Active leaks in the bathroom that dripped on me while I was showering. There are exposed wires on the A/C unit that are an active safety hazard. The unit is on the 2nd floor right by the roof covering so people pour their drinks and drop items off of their patio and you occasionally get splashed or see the items fall. I’ve stayed at Sundestin many times and have never had anything close to this type of experience. I hadn’t been to Destin since 2020 and we used vacasa to book then. I thought it was weird that all the other units at Sundestin used Scenic Stays. Lesson learned! Book through Scenic Stays!!!

Belated honeymoon

Really enjoyed the resort and the surroundings but our condo was a little outdated but overall clean and very functional. the front desk and concierge were awesome and very helpful. We will definitely come back again!

Wifi was terrible…had to go outside to receive and make calls…Back door latch did it lock …Room needs updating….couches have stains…we had to put white sheets over both in order to sit and watch tv

Good location, real nice people at front desk, nice lobby/bar/shop, whirlpool outside, nice pool inside But----- the unit was not good. Bedroom is right next to hallway and I could hear EVERYTHING in hall and by elevator. I had to sleep on the pullout couch entire week. Plus the internet was bad- on/off all week. Not recommended.

Family vacation

We had a great vacation. The room was what we expected and met our needs though the balcony chairs were ripped. The only major complaint was the wi-fi and phone reception were very poor in our room, but other areas it was fine.

Not Super Impressed

The first problem was the dirty towel in the bathroom sink which automatically makes one think the room was cleaned probably. I was not offered a blanket for the sofa bed. We had to purchase one. One side of the toaster oven did not work. The view from room 208 is horrible. The balcony chairs are dingy. The sofa, loveseat and dining chairs were not clean. Not the best looking towels. Bring your own supplies. The smell in the lobby was overwhelming. The evening shift front desk lady was not friendly or welcoming at all. If you are okay with subpar you will be fine. I would not stay again

Beautiful beach

The beach is beautiful, the view from the balcony is kind of blocked due to the roof of the inside pool but still nice, the main door did not shut because the screws were hanging out of it so locking it didn't work but maintenance responded immediately and fixed it. The condo could use some updates, the fridge dont get very cold. the bed and pillows were amazing there is a laundry room on the floor. Overall this place was worth the price.

This condo can use a little update. Sofa had couple of stains, good cleaning or replace. Also a vacuum cleaner or a better broom would helpful to help get sand out of the condo.

Nice Stay

The convenience of the second floor is nice. The elevators seem to always be full or one would be broke so only having to walk one flight was nice. Loved the fact there was two bathrooms! Makes getting ready so much easier.

I enjoyed how close to the beach this condo was located. There were a few little things that I did not care for. The toilet stuck every time it was flushed. Plugs fell out of the outlets. The ice tray was cracked. Just a few little things that could have been better.

Our overall stay was good. This unit had somethings that need to be looked into. Most of our outlets did not work- the plugs wouldn’t stay in put in the outlet, we had no fitted sheets or blanket for use of the pullout bed. Neither beds were comfortable- you could fill the springs on both beds. Our AC unit leaked constantly causing our balcony to be wet the whole time.

Nice room but bed was terrible

The room was tidy and clean and we had plenty towels for the duration of our stay. However, when it came time to make the pull out bed there were no extra blankets for my kids. Hall closet was locked and I looked in bathroom and bedroom closet.I sent an email to the management asking if we could get more the response was to look in all closets and I replied I did but didn’t get a response after that. Also bed itself was not comfortable whatsoever. It was like sleeping on a rock. Maybe time to replace that Mattress.

Heads up...

You CAN see the ocean but the main view is obstructed by the platform. The kitchen is decently stocked. It’s clean and the washer dryer isn’t far from this room. BRING QUARTERS for $2.00 per cycle washer/dryer. We did a load each day. One room with king bed...pull out bed. Beach access is easy. You can have 1 car parked at the facility...any other vehicles have to be parked across 4 lanes of traffic (behind Chick-fil-A) and it’s not a quick task.

Perfect for our group

We had the best time spending our spring break in this condo. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable and there is a lot of room for clothing in the bedroom great storage in the kitchen and the patio was definitely a plus. Not the biggest kitchen or just enough for two people.
