*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing a property modernization project. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Ongoing construction and amenity closures are to be expected. Construction is predicted to be completed Spring 2026.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Enjoyed our stay!

The unit was very clean when we arrived. No issues on cleanliness at all. The living room furniture wasn't very comfortable to us, but thankfully, we didn't spend much time in there since most was spent at the pool and the beach. The splash pad was closed during our entire stay (July 2025), which was a bummer but everything else was very nice. We also enjoyed the location being close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, from the front desk and the gift shop and even the maintenance staff we saw walking around. Would recommend this location to any couple or small family.

Not impressed

Entire building was under construction & had no idea prior to booking that was happening so it was disappointing. Our coach was broke and toilet paper holder & when we called it wasn’t seen about. Parking was a nightmare the first two nights. The overflow parking was in an old abandoned parking lot with no lights. I’m not typically one to leave reviews at all but this property was falsely advertised. Beach was perfect, close to everything and the bar in doors was great! Just wish we’d have known about the construction and had a couch that wasn’t broken!

Destin vacation

Being on ocean view is always the best vacation. The furniture needs updated, and A/C was very noisy next to the bedroom, but still had a great view. Just listening to the ocean from the balcony relaxed us and could easily stay there all day. We love Florida and the ocean, and that is what makes it great.

Great stay!!

Our family stayed here last week. We took our 5 year old daughter to the beach for the first time. I have personally stayed at Sun Destin several times, but this was the best room yet that I have stayed in. We kept it a surprise from our daughter that we were going, her first view off the balcony brought tears to her eyes and mine. It was literally the perfect view. I rocked her to sleep every night on the balcony. The check in process took less than 5 minuets. The quickest check in ever! The room was equipped with everything that we needed. We all sleep with a fan every night, and they even had those. The bed was beyond comfortable, and the pull out couch was perfect for my daughter. She never sleeps all night, but she did there, probably because she was utterly exhausted. Thank you again! We can't wait to come back next year!

Not enough pillows emailed for several days still no pillows for pull out couch blend does not work outlets in bathroom worked off and on it was wierd. The blind in bedroom fell and no one came to fix it. The skillet is terrible can not cook anything with it dryer on 18th floor did not work but hotel did refund the money. Not many dishes in places for 4 people can stay and the drinking glass have chips in them

Nice over all

The resort was alright, just beware of the bed, your back and neck will be hurting for days after sleeping in it. The view was amazing we were on the 18th floor, that’s the only thing i honestly loved about the resort. It just didn’t give a homey feel. If that makes sense. I’m sure others would love it, but just not for me.

Not a bad stay

Both mattresses were horrible. The sofa bed mattress had very hard springs coming through. The master bed had the biggest dip towards the middle that I kept falling into. I had to try and stay toward the very side of the mattress. Other reviews said the very exact thing about the beds. The closet was extremely cluttered and could not be used but that was fine. We really enjoyed how nicely decorated everything was and that the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. There was a horrible smell of marijuana coming from the room next door I guess. I could not use the balcony at times. It was ridiculous! It’s a little overpriced in my opinion but I guess it’s because it’s on the beachfront.

worst stay ever

Let’s just start off by saying how unclean the room we stayed in was. There was what seemed to be ibuprofen on the floor in the bedroom, an empty toothpaste bottle left in the bathroom on the floor, the rug was not vacuumed or swept, as well as a large brown stain on the sheet of the bed. We realized quickly there were no shower towels in our condo, we reported it to the front desk and the only thing we got back was “contact the third party you booked with.” Mind you it was late at night so there was nothing we could do besides text the host… upon texting the host they kept saying someone was going to drop off towels. Cool. Did they ever come? No, I had to personally call them the next morning demanding towels that were (per the note on the fridge) supposed to be provided upon arrival. There were small indications of renovations throughout the whole hotel, the pool, the splash pad, the hot tub, and the sauna were all closed. I do not fully blame the sundestin as a whole but they should do a better job at keeping up with this through their host… almost 600 for two days I expected more of them. We were told we would have a cleaning fee compensation but of course we have not heard anything back from that. Spend your money else where.

NOT A CLEAN PROPERTY

LOOKS CUTE AND CLEAN ON LINE, BUT SORRY TO SAY THIS PLACE WAS DISGUSTING. FROM THE LOBBY, TO THE ROOM, ALL THE WAY TO THE POOL. FRONT DESK LADIES WERE NOT VERY FRIENDLY. THERE WERE ROACHES IN OUR ROOM. I CALLED ABOUT THAT AND THEY GAVE ME THE SPILL ABOUT THIS WAS FLORIDA WE HAVE BUGS. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE CHECKED OUT EARLY. I PERSONALLY DO NOT GIVE THIS PROPERTY A GOOD REVIEW. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER AND FIND A CLEANING CREW THAT ACTUALLY CLEANS. THE POOL WAS CLOSED THE ELAVATORS WERE DISGUSTING AND SLOW. I COULD GO ON AND ON. I USED A WHOLE TUB OF CLOROX WIPES TO TRY TO SANTITIZE EVERYTHING. VERY DISAPPOINTING TO PAY THIS KIND OF MONEY TO A RESORTQUEST PROPERTY AND GET TH IS KIND OF SERVICE. PLEASE PEOPLE CHECK REVIEWS. I MESSED UP THIS TIME AND DID NOT BECAUSE I WAS IN A HURRY IT WAS A LAST MINUTE TRIP. BUT NEVER AGAIN. LESSON LEARNED.

What a view!

We loved the view out of the patio window. It was one of those views that I would sometime get up at night to check if the view was still there and not a dream. Also on some days the dolphins stop buy near the beach. The staff was helpful and friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, and the only item missing item were tongs which we purchased and donated to 1804. On the negative side, the place could use some updating. The sofa sleeper must of being brought used from Jabba the Hutt and was uncomfortable. The garbage disposal went out, and the toaster only toasted one side of the bread and I notified Vacasa about this. I would stay at Sundestin Resort again and in this unit again. The dates are actually wrong we stayed here the prior weeks in March.
