Nestled in a quiet wooded area of Mcgaheysville sits this 4-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental, offering outdoorsy folk the perfect base for a memorable trip. With the resort's 6,000 acres of mountain activities, including skiing, swimming, hiking, golfing, and more, something is exciting in store for every member of your group. Conclude an active day with a soak in the hot tub and a delicious BBQ meal on the private deck!

This upscale home has all the space, modern amenities, and access to nearby attractions needed to be the perfect Massanutten mountain getaway you and your family have been searching for!

Note: There is no fire pit at this property- outdoor fires are not allowed in this section of Massanutten. Thank you!

Amazingly Cozy & Beautiful!!

The home was a great for a girls trip! It has everything you could need besides personal items. It's very cozy with so many awesome amenities!! It's a beautiful home in a great location, we will definitely be staying here again!

Great stay near Massanutten Ski Resort

We booked a last minute very short ski trip and loved our stay. The house had everything you’d need if you wanted to stay in and was in the perfect area to get to ski slopes, indoor water park and other activities. We would definitely come back!

Family Ski Trip

The property was great and we enjoyed some great ski days. We have stayed many places in Massanutten and this was one of our favorites. Communication was great and check in was easy. The property was fully stocked with everything we needed. I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

Quiet Getaway

Quick & quiet getaway with family to celebrate time together. We had no problem finding the house whatsoever and had everything we needed. The hot tub water was low & needed cleansing but a nice time had by all.

A beautiful home that met all of our needs!

The property name says it all! I hummed the whole time I was there. The house is so relaxing and well equipped. They have thought of everything. Each room was clean and modern. They even provide a stack of beach towels for the hot tub. Which by the way was perfect!! Very private and cozy atmosphere. It was a perfect place for our three day trip. The location allowed us close proximity to enjoy the area around Massanutten Resort and a short distance to Skyline drive. What a great house. Laura was such a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and offered her knowledge of the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a lovely adventure.

Fall (Thanksgiving) Getaway

We had a lovely, long Thanksgiving weekend in Shenandoah. The house was spacious enough for a group of six adults. The layout was great for quality time while also having our own space. There was plenty of room to cook and enjoy Friendsgiving together. We also enjoyed the hot tub and backyard. If you have children, there were also a lot of accommodations for little ones.

Amazing House in the Mountains

My family loved the house and all that we had to do in Massanutten. The waterpark and family adventure park are a short drive from the house. The house was spacious, clean, and seems recently updated. The communication before, during, and after the trip was wonderful. Highly recommend!

End of Summer Getaway

My family stayed at the property over Labor Day Weekend. The property was a great location to visit Natural Bridge, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah NP. The house suited our needs, had a well-stocked kitchen, and we enjoyed the extensive deck and hot tub.

Is as it appears

It was two couples. By it being 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 bathrooma, we had plenty of room. The house had EVERYTHING you would need. Even the little things you seem to always forget, they had! We were very please and would recommend this location to anyone.

Overall great place to stay

The property manager was on top of things, brought us gas for the fire pit as soon as I let them know it was empty. Tons of space and things to do to keep the whole family busy. Will definitely be returning

Better than the Pics!

This place was awesome! We loved the layout of the whole property! The deck was beautiful, rooms spacious, everything you ever needed in a home away from home was in the property. We were there for a 4 day weekend, we wish it was for a month. We will return again when we can!

Perfect Ski Vacation House

We are so glad we chose this house. It was absolutely perfect. It was super clean, comfortable and really a wonderful layout for our family. We loved the hot tub, the ping pong table and had no problems at all with internet and streaming movies. When we return we absolutely plan to rent this home again.

Perfect for JMU Weekends

Close location to JMU to visit daughter and tailgate. Lyfted to the game. Plenty of room. Beautiful scenery. Deer roaming unconcerned. Hot tub was awesome as well.

Great home in Massanutten

We booked this stay over the long thanksgiving weekend for me and my spouse and 2 adult children. My other adult child and spouse live in the area and we always stay at Massanutten. The home was clean and well kept. It was the perfect size and we were once again very pleased with our stay in Massanutten. I would recommend.

The Perfect Stay

We are beyond happy we chose the Cozy Mountain Song for our family summer vacation. We had a 4.5 year old and a 1 year old. There were only pros about this place! When looking, I loved that they offered a travel crib (pack n play) for easy sleep accommodations. Everyone had their own rooms and the basement was a bonus for play time and relaxing. My husband and I really enjoyed the hot tub at night! The place was super clean and had everything you needed to feel at home. Very close to all the resort amenities. We cannot wait until our next vacation here! Book it, you won’t be disappointed!! :)

amazing getaway!

we really loved this place! never seen such a nice deck area! it looks exactly as pictured. Just one thing that there were no shower supplies - soap, shampoo, etc, they did mention this in email but I think having that would be the easiest way for guest to use bathrooms. Also, we also had only one kitchen towel and few toilet paper rolls, having that in bulk would help the guest a lot. The other issue was the hot water - we did get that but that only lasted until 3 people took bath , after that it was super cold. please check on that as well. Overall the place was really amazing and we loved it!

Overall nice, a couple of issues

This is a cute, pretty secluded cabin that fit 4 adults comfortably. Just a couple of notes - the WiFi is incredibly slow, so we weren't able to stream movies; definitely bring DVDs if you want to watch any movies or TV. The beds are also VERY firm, which wasn't great for half of us who are not used to that firm of a bed. The fire pit wouldn't light, which was unfortunate, as one of the nights we were there would have been perfect for a fire pit night. The shower door in the main hallway also wouldn't stay shut, which made for a pretty cold shower. Otherwise, the kitchen is pretty well stocked, the couch was comfortable and there's a good sized dining table. The house was clean and surprisingly we had no bug encounters, which was very nice. We definitely had a great time!

The best present this Christmas.

This year we took a trip as a family instead of buying gifts for each other. The cozy mountain song was the perfect house for a trip to Massanutten. The proximity to the water park is wonderful.The house is absolutely beautiful. It was one of the cleanest houses I’ve ever stayed at. They even had a Christmas tree. It fit six adults and four children perfectly. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, even when we forgot our crockpot. The house manager was amazing, and I even left shoes accidentally and they shipped them back to me. The hot tub and the fire pit area is beautiful. The two living rooms made it perfect for when the baby was up at night. The only complaint I have is the beds are a little hard, however, it may just be personal preference. We would 100% stay here again. We will be booking for next year!

Great stay

This property is very nice and close to all the massanutten attractions. We stayed here and loved everything about it. Only thing is recommend is the hot tub needs a cleaning it smells pretty musty and moldy in there, otherwise we were very happy with it!
