Dear Torbjorn I appreciate you taking time to write your message. The fantastic location means the property was built before elevators were available. We do have a deal with our driver where for a small tip he can help to carry heavy bags up the stairs. Francoise and I hope to see you next time you visit Cannes.

Excellent location and an overall great stay!

The location is fantastic! Just a block away from everything. You can walk everywhere in Cannes from here. The apartment is nicely done and very comfortable. We were a family of five and it worked great for us.There is no lift so you need to use the stairs but even with 3 younger kids, it was never an issue.

An amazing apartment close to all amenities - shops, restaurants, beach and transport in a busy area of Cannes. Huge, well located, nicely appointed apartment

This apartment was perfect for our family vacation. Large and well located, minutes to the water and very close to the daily market which is great. Full kitchen with all the dishes/utensils, etc one needs. The owner and property managers were great. Full size washer and dryer was a nice luxury to have in France. We would definitely stay here again. You do have to climb some stairs as it is third floor but you also get a nice balcony up there and I'd rather be off of street level.

Amazing Stay!

Our stay in Cannes was perfect for my group. The property manager was extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful! The location was great for what my group needed. Furthermore the host put me in touch with a taxi driver who was also very accomodating throughout our stay! I traveled with a large group of girls and there was plenty of space. Several other stays for a group our size were much more cramped. The extra showers and mirrors were a huge plus!! When anything did go wrong the property manager was very attentive in fixing the issue. Thank you so much to the host for a wonderful experience :)

Week break in Cannes

We had a good stay at the apartment and particular thanks to Francoise for all her help and proactive attention. The place is well located in old Cannes and is close to the port and the attractions of the area. Despite that it was quiet. The location worked well for us but probably worth being aware it is 3rd floor so you need to be ok with stairs. Although there is no parking it is very close to a local municipal car park which also worked well for us. Be aware though the car parking etc is very tight so if you are hiring a car and would like to use the parking close by we suggest you go small not large with your car!

Dear Jonathon Thank you for your detailed review. We got a bit lucky with the property being so central and yet so quiet. These pedestrianised streets are great for seeing Cannes but with the car park exit so close makes it much easier for clients with a car. Our driver Laurent offers to take heavy suitcases up the three flights of stairs. The apartment is in such a good location that unfortunately elevators were not in use when this building was made… I enjoy the extra steps as I believe it means I can enjoy a bit more delicious food! Glad you liked Francoise, I agree she is super accommodating and knowledgeable. We hope that the next time you visit Cannes you stay with us. Kind regards Danny

Perfect Location!

The location couldn't be better --if you like being within a minute to shops, market, restaurants and less than 5 minutes to the water --look no further. While close to all the action --it was a quiet place where you don't hear any street noise. We loved the convenience of running out to pick up something. Also the location felt very safe based on the location. We had several teenagers with us and never felt concerned about them on their own in the apartment or getting out alone in the evenings. The apartment had ample space for our party of 5, with room to spare. The living area is exactly as pictured with all the amenities needed to hang out comfortably. The owner and property manager were absolutely a delight to work with. I've booked many many trips over the past 10 years and this place is in our top 3 -I would absolutely reach out to book again! Looking forward to our next trip already and for our group --it's very much about the accommodations.

The perfect location and comfortable, modern apartment

Having stayed before in several Cannes hotels over the years, I decided to rent an apartment for a stay during an industry event. It was perfect, and the most perfect time of year! Christmas markets are around the corner, and you’re just minutes from the Palais, fresh food marché and everything else great in Cannes! The apartment has three well-furnished bedrooms, each equipped with their own ensuite showers and sinks. I stayed as a single for a couple nights and felt 100% safe. Then when my husband and friends arrived, we had a perfect little haven for drinking wine, catching up and even sneaking in a Netflix show, which really was a nice touch. Being with close friends who live far away… we could actually watch a show together instead of texting about it! The home is well-equipped and we didn’t miss a thing! The hairdryer is excellent, by the way. We hope to come back, and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who does not have a problem with a few stairs. Bravo and thank you.

Dear Liz Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We are so proud of the apartment. Being in the heart of Le Suquet does means there is no elevator to the third floor. The size of the mezzanine apartment is comparable to a hotel double penthouse suite at a fraction of the cost. We hope to see you again next year.

Good location

The apartment is in a good location and is definitely roomy. To clarify some points. The showers are inside all but 1 bedroom and there’s only 2 toilets in the apartment. They are separate from the showers and get awfully hot - one does not have a sink to wash hands. It was quite a strange setup. Also the apartment is on the 3rd floor it is NOT an easy stride especially with 50 pound luggages or after dinner and drinks. In regards to the area honestly everything is unbelievably convenient - the market steps away - restaurants - beach etc. there is a free public beach about 10 minute walk all others are seat rentals 35 and up. Parking is within feet but was tricky to enter with your car. Unfortunately there is a public restroom within feet of property so homeless people hang out there and we got to witness them urinating publicly several times. You can also smell it. That was not pleasant. The apartment is stocked with everything. They provide towels shampoo conditioner etc. they do not provide beach towels. Francois was nice lady on arrival chatting with us She didn’t provide too much information but pointed us to the pamphlets and book signed by guests. We had a bathroom that was leaking and were told not to use it the first night and when we used it the second night it leaked into our kitchen and we were told not to use it again. With the group size we had that was NOT convenient and we were not compensated for the inconvenience. We removed all sheets and collected dirty towels and left them in laundry and Francois showed appreciation for that. Overall it was a fine rental but in retrospect I wish I knew about the bathroom setups beforehand I may not have rented.

Dear Yvonne Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. First of all I have to apologise for the bathroom leak. Francoise got a plumber in straight away but that must have been frustrating for your large group. I understand you were not happy with the bathroom set ups. There are showers and sinks in 3 of the rooms. Each floor has a toilet. The 4th bedroom is an extra space that we converted into a bedroom but this doesn’t have the same facilities as the other larger rooms. That is horrible that you witnessed people urinating. I haven’t seen this before, the problem with any sought after place is that it attracts homeless. Cannes is CCTV covered and the police presence is constantly present. We have never had any criminal incidents with a client. I agree the parking is tricky until you know where to go. Then it becomes like a private space which is rare in a pedestrianised location. Thank you for your compliments. Especially concerning the location and service. Francoise and I are extremely proud of the apartment and the extras that we offer. Kind regards Danny Ps. I hope that you managed to charter a yacht.

Grand View Penthouse offers features that are rarely found in such a prime central Cannes location. Occupying the entire top two floors of the building, it provides an exceptional sense of space, privacy and exclusivity.

One of its most unique features is the layout, with several hidden and flexible rooms that guests don’t expect to find in a historic Old Town property. These additional spaces give families and groups plenty of room to spread out, work, relax or play.

The private rooftop terrace is a real highlight. Complete with its own summer kitchen, it’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine, an evening meal or drinks after a day exploring Cannes. Guests can access the terrace directly from the principal bedroom as well as from the hallway, making it both convenient and private.

I also love the practical touches that make longer stays especially comfortable. The separate utility room is invaluable for families and extended visits, while the office area provides a quiet space to work remotely or somewhere for children and adults to unwind.

It’s these thoughtful details, combined with the exceptional location and generous living space, that make Grand View Penthouse feel much more like a private home than a typical holiday rental.
