Pet Friendly 1br/1ba 18 Powderidge

Conveniently located in Powderidge only steps to the lift! Queen bed in the main bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The kitchen is complete with full sized amenities (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and more)! The outside deck includes a mountain view and patio seating. You won't want to miss the morning sunrise! W/D in unit! Powderidge is a coveted, pet friendly location with it's own lift access (weather permitting). We have plenty of space for the pup to wander about, including great hiking trails in the "fingers" just across the street! Easy 10-15 min walk to the village or simply take the shuttle from the stop located just outside your door by the firewood building. We are located about a little more than a half mile from the village via a walking path and only 100 yards from the Powderidge ski lift. Parking is plentiful in front of the unit. Dumpsters and free firewood are located directly across from the unit. Shuttle service is also just steps away beyond the firewood building!

Pros: Host was fantastic. Quick communication and useful guidebook. Location was EVERYTHING!! We were only steps from the shuttle stop as well as the Powderidge ski lift. Very dog friendly!Cons: one roll of toilet paper and paper towels was equal parts comical and frustrating... no dish sponge was provided either. Amenities were super stingy and cheaply made considering the price. Pulled out the sofa bed and it was unusable; head and foot of bed sinks in and is slanted. Under the couch had leftover food from prior guests which was really gross. Fire alarm went off when taking a shower which was odd. TVs are small.

Awesome Location!

Perfect location for a weekend getaway! Being dog friendly, we brought our pup along, but you’d never suspect there have been dogs on the property. It was very clean. Quiet and convenient location right on the slopes! Just a few recommendations - there wasn’t any hand soap or fire starters. Thankfully, we had brought our own. Would definitely stay here again!

With few exceptions everything was good. Metal steps down to place were difficult for our pet and some for us due to age (70 & 67) and hip issues for our dog. The location also had no real area for the dog to walk without carrying her up the steps and down as ground level was the only place to walk her or let her go. Would have booked a ground level facility if I was aware of this. Unit was clean but welcome coffee pack was missing, the fire torch was empty with no matches either, some items in the unit were in need of maintenance (glass shield on fireplace frame missing and glass loose, old wishbone hanging on kitchen light fixture, floor boards with gaps, facet in the bathroom loose and a few outside steps loose). I point these out 1.so we are not blamed 2. So that they can be cared for before more serious issues occur to property or guests. Due to the navigation issue up and down we cut the stay short by 1 day which, again, we would have booked something else had we been aware of the navigation issues. Lastly, mostly all things were closed as, per restaurant owner, they were into the “off” season? Not sure that I will use Vrbo to book further stays.
