Looking for the perfect “hideaway” to relax, enjoy the lakeside view and spend quality time with family or friends? The Hanahan Lakeside Hideaway is conveniently located in East Norris Point between Flat Hallow and Springs dock, across from Island Marker #12 on Norris Lake in Lafollette, TN.

Take a deep breath, kick back and relax from the moment you drive down the pear tree lined driveway to the unobstructed view of the lake. Unwind on the large double decks or enjoy the covered dock where there is plenty of space to mingle, swing, swim and float. Soak in the view with a cozy fire in the fire pit overlooking the lake or catch some much needed z’s in the hammock between the pines.

The home has an open concept kitchen, living area and dining area which gives ample room for multiple families to enjoy gathering and preparing meals together. A half bath conveniently located off the living area offers a full size washer and dryer. Enjoy a large master bedroom (King Bed) that features a spacious walk-in closet, master bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and your own personal access to the deck where you can swing, rock or glide while soaking up the morning sunrise. The lower level features 3 bedrooms(1st Bedroom-1 Queen Bed, 2nd Bedroom- 1 Queen Bed, 3rd Bedroom- 1 Queen Bunk Bed & Twin Bunk Bed, Sleeper Sofa located in Family Area), a full bathroom, a family area perfect to watch a movie, play card games or get competitive with a game of foosball.

The Hanahan Lakeside Hideaway sleeps up to 14 guests. It is a perfect lake home to get away with your family. Relax and rest comfortable knowing that inclement weather conditions will not interfere with your stay. Our home is equip with a whole house backup Generac generator.

We have a private covered dock with attached swim dock. Dock features a smaller covered slip perfect for up to 2 jetskis and a larger covered slip that houses the owners boat on lift. There is uncovered parking on the side of dock (opposite of swim dock) to park additional boat(s). Dock also features a table and chairs and small refrigerator for food/drinks.

Our hideaway is located across from Island Marker #12 and the Chuck Swan Wildlife Management Area in year around deep water allowing for boating, skiing, kayaking, tubing, fishing, jumping off the dock and floating. Our home is easy to get to with paved roads and an easy access boat ramp located 1/2 mile before the driveway.

Attached garage is locked and off limits to guests.

Exterior security cameras are located at all doorway entrances to the house. Exterior security camera also installed on dock viewing owner’s boat.

The property was everything as described and pictured, but better! Kitchen was fully stocked, and the home had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the property is in a perfect location on the water. We had perfect views of a rainbow over the water two days in a row! We absolutely loved this home, and will definitely book again!

Celebration vacation

Our family of seven traveled to Norris lake with many things to celebrate, the house and lake did not disappoint. The house was clean when we arrived and Clint and Janice were great hosts. Answered any and all the questions we had. Easy check in and check out. Beautiful view! I can’t wait to visit again.

An absolute great experience. Owners were very communicative and responsive throughout the process. The house was clean and laid our perfectly for our family trip with all of the needed essentials. The location is conveniently located within multiple marinas, deep water, and the boat rampThis house has one of the best views from the deck that we have had at Norris. From the house it's a short and convenient walk to the dock and swim platform that even our 2 year old grandson was able to walk down safely on his own.We will definitely be back next year!

Perfect lake house !

We had a great time at this location!! When we weren’t out on the water we were at the boat house!! That extra living space was great!! Having the two full kitchens was super convenient. The views from the deck and boat house were amazing!!

Great family house!

The HLH is a wonderful house for a large family! We had 10 people and we fit perfectly in the space. We cooked every meal during our stay and the kitchen is very well appointed...every time we needed something we just had to look! The wifi was great and supported all our needs, including gaming. The house is well labeled so everything was easy to find. We were there in summer and the AC and fans kept the house cool and comfortable. HLH has a great dock for families--a fun swim dock for ease of swimming in the lake, a great swing, storage closet, mini fridge. We spent many happy hours on the dock! While the driveway was steep, it was very easy to navigate with our vehicles. Being so close to a boat ramp was nice, as well as plenty storage for the trailer. Loved that they had so many games, movies, and books to enjoy. They large table on the deck hosted many fun meals for us! HLH is on a quiet part of the lake, close to two marinas, a fun rope swing and two great jumping rocks. Our teenagers loved it! We loved our stay at HLH!

Perfect Norris lake location/view

This is our third time staying here and it never disappoints. The lake view is absolutely gorgeous from the balcony and from inside the house. We love the dock with the shade, power (mini fridge is great to have), and the swim dock. We also love the new updates- the new ladder is awesome, the outside furniture downstairs is so comfy, and the firepit area is so nice. We will definitely be back again! Our fav spot in lake Norris that is private with the best view. We had 9 people and had plenty of room for all.

Our stay at this property was amazing! The house was the perfect size for us (4 adults and 4 children). We spent most of our time on the dock. The dock area was perfect for fishing, sunbathing and swimming. We rented a pontoon and tube one day which was so much fun! The view of the lake was amazing! Norris Lake is so beautiful. Clint & Janice were so responsive and provided so much valuable/ useful information on the property/area. We highly recommend this property!

21st Anniversary

What a beautiful property!! Everything was just as advertised and pictures cannot do it justice. We had a blast swimming,fishing and spending time in the hammock and the deck! The entire area is simply gorgeous and very quiet,perfect place to decompress. We had zero issues but if we did I’m sure Clint would have been on it! He gave so much great info on the area and fishing,it really paid off! This was indeed a very special anniversary,thanks for sharing your beautiful place!

Great Location

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our third vacation to Norris Lake and the best view yet! It is easy to find on the water (just off of point 12) and an easy boat ride to several different marinas. The owners were very easy to communicate with. The house has a great AC, WiFi, and full back up generator (just in case). The dock was an awesome place to hang out/swim/fish after a day on the boat. The location on the lake has plenty of wide and deep water for tubing. We finished each day at the fire pit. Overall a great place to spend some relaxing time with the family.

Relaxing and Peaceful

The view from the back porch was beautiful! The openness with the windows made it peaceful to sit and have your morning coffee. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The dock provided room to fish, swim, and lay out. The host answered any questions we had quickly and was very helpful. The Marina was very close and docking was very close. The slope to walk to the dock was better than climbing steps. The campfires at night were wonderful and you could look out into the lake. Great family memories made!

1st Family fishing outting since the pandemic.

This is a beautiful location with one of the best views you could ask for. The boat house was one of the big reasons for us picking this property and it was spacious so we could spread out. We also caught several huge 10 pound cat fish and a large stripe off the dock. My only complaint is my mother couldn't go back and fourth to the boat house just because it was slightly steep and shes 75, but there's steps and its well maintained. Also we stayed in the Fall but I could tell in the Summer it would be awesome, there's a swim pad built on the dock. We had a wonderful stay all in all.

We have grown up around the water our whole lives and have always been boating people. We took our first "Mom and Dad" trip to Norris lake and fell in love with the beautiful views and simplicity of life. We love the many possibilities Norris Lake offers - sitting enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck watching the wildlife, swimming at the dock, going for a boat ride, fishing, enjoying a dinner out on the water, hiking the state parks, going for a walk - never ending choices! Our home truly offers a break from the real world and allows you to reconnect with yourself and your family. We are so happy we can share our hideaway with you!
