We had an incredible stay! The home was spotless and impeccably maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed right from the start. Family Reunion

What a beautiful home to have a family reunion! Teenagers had fun w the game room and the kitchen had amble counter space for food prep and storage. Lovely deck for your morning coffee and to watch the sunset at night. This is a wonderful place to make memories.

Lovely home on the beach

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The bright and cheerful artwork all over the house and vibrant colors made it a very relaxing place to stay. The view of the beach is amazing, and the corner location made it very easy for the kids to run in and out of the house. Lots of amenities and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and grill. We look forward to renting this property again in the future.

Beach trip

The location is right on the beach. Great beach walking. The views of the gulf are amazing. Watched the moon rise from the deck one evening. The kitchen has everything needed to cook any meal. We enjoyed our stay and will return again. Fantastic house.

One of the best houses!

Over the years, we alway have an annual trip to the beach and have stayed in many homes and areas in Galveston and I have to say this one is on the top of my list! I loved the home itself, everything was perfect and so well stocked! The location was great…almost felt like we had a private beach! Highly recommend this home to anyone looking!!

Awe Inspiring and Unforgettable

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about booking this place. It seemed a little dated (and by extension, dusty), but the location right on the beach clinched it for us. Boy, was I wrong to be nervous! The pictures don't do it justice. There's something interesting to look at everywhere your eyes fall. The art is trippy and delightful. There is whimsy everywhere. You just can't be depressed here. I literally forgot all my problems. And it was so clean. And the location was just perfect. The chairs on the deck are a beautiful spot to sit with a drink. The pool table was a bonus. Manager was super easy to reach and very helpful.My husband who doesn't care about these things, made me promise to keep booking this place over and over again as long as we keep going to the beach every year, and everyone agreed. Thank you for sharing An Artist's View with us, we absolutely loved it!

Excellent House For Family Vacation

The house sits right on the sand and the privacy of the beach is one in a million. The owner is friendly and always accessible. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and fully equipped with everything you would need. I highly recommend it.

Stunning, all of it!

Every part of this stay was amazing. The beach view, the beach house, the owners, the access to the beach, both balconies, the furniture inside and out... I could go on and on. Eleven of us, 3 adults and 8 kids, and it was perfect for us. We now plan to have this as our annual home to visit for our trips. The home is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including every kitchen gadget to games for kids. We LOVED that would watch our kids play on the beach while others of us hung out on the patio. That was a must for us and it did not disappoint. And when my kids wanted to play in the sand they could even do it downstairs without having to go to the beach. We also loved the beach was not packed of people, it's almost a private beach I'd even dare to say. We loved the game room upstairs as well, it was perfect for the colder spring break nights we had. Everything was very clean as well! Thank you Walter and Amanda for also being available via text when I had questions. Incredibly kind people. Thank you so much for everything! P.S. Each of my sisters and I have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, at different stages. Butterflies are our way of connecting with those babies we lost. We LOVED finding all butterflies you have place placed throughout your home, they brought us so much joy to find throughout our trip.

Great location and spacious property

The property is well maintained, and you are steps from the beach. Even over Labor Day weekend, the beach was not crowded. There was a slight mildewy odor in the house that went away after the house was aired out. Otherwise, our visit went very well.

Great house - great views!

My trip got cancelled by Beryl, so Walter allowed me to reschedule and gave me an extra stay to make up for it. I couldn't get the family back together but I came to have a quiet remote work few days. The house was lovely and I can't wait for my whole family to enjoy it for our rescheduled date. I loved the porches to sit and drink coffee and watch the waves.

Family time

The location and view from this house were absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out at the beach and water. The house was very nice and due to rain during our stay the pool table was a nice addition for entertainment. We had everything we needed and the owners were quick to respond to any question that we had prior to our visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Fourth of July family trip

This house was perfect for our family. The right number of rooms and bathrooms, great separation. Big kitchen, we weren’t in each others way while prepping. Large table for meals and games. Right on the beach. Everything we needed, really hope to do it again.

2nd stay and we'll be back again

The house is well-stocked, the host is super responsive, the neighborhood is quiet, the location is literal steps from the beach, the water was crystal clear and the sunset view from the deck is unbeatable. 2024 was the 10th annual beach trip for this group, this house is the only house we've repeated, and we'll be back next year.

Exceptional Beachfront Home

Exceptional in every way. Not outfitted as a rental, but as a home with every convenience you would have in your own home. Very homy. The place is spacious in all the right places. Large open kitchen where up to 6 or 7 people can congregate to cook or socialize while making cocktails without the feel of being in a tight crowd. Large living room with a lodge high ceiling where 10 people can seat in comfort. Large long dining table to seat 10 or so people and eat together. Kitchen has amazing array of all the utensils, tools, food storage, appliances (large fridge, blender, ice maker, mixer) everything you would need. A large upstairs pool table, game and TV room overlooking the living room (too busy doing other things to use it). Parking for at least 10 cars. House fronts right on a beach that is private by nature of being deadended with no easy access by cars. Locals use golf carts. Surf has a very large shallow area maybe 1 foot deep near a rock breakwater suitable for small children. And a freight elevator to move all your food, luggage to the high first level. Beds not cheap. Good sleep. NO, we do not have a financial interest in this place. Just appreciate a place where the owners have gone aboveboard to outfit, maintain, and provide an exceptional place and location for a group of people to lodge together. We will be back!!!!!

Home for a week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was there as was described in the booking. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the deck and windows. Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. We definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing views

This was a gorgeous property to spend our family Christmas. We had a few electrical issues due to weather but the owner was so attentive and the or else was resolved quickly . I can not recommend this house more! We will definitely be back.
