This dreamy ocean view home in Olivia Beach sports a turquoise great room with soaring ceilings that will lift your spirits for your next stay on the coast. Loads of plush seating, a gas fireplace, and a wall-mounted TV promise a relaxing time in the sunny living room with your guests. A gourmet and well-stocked kitchen with a gas range, stainless-steel appliances, a large quartz island/breakfast bar, and a roomy trestle dining table will make cooking and enjoying meals together a pleasure; a barbecue and fire pit lets you extend eating outdoors, and a private hot tub lets you cap the evening with a relaxing soak. A queen suite on the main floor is cheery and bright.

Upstairs, a bunk room and bonus room with a TV and gas fireplace will delight the kids. Another queen suite has its own private ocean view deck. A plethora of DVD's along with family-friendly board and card games will keep the family entered for hours. My family and I came from two different states for a weekend get away, the place was perfect for the kids and adults, so close to the beach. Everything was clean and plenty of places to sleep Best time

Beautiful place to stay

We take a yearly family get together to the coast and this has been our favorite stay! The place was beautiful with lovely views. Everything was clean, kitchen had everything you need, and beds were comfy. Beach, community pool, playground was walkable. Thank you Meredith Lodging. We made some great memories and hope to come back next summer!

Great House

We all loved the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was hot.

We truly wanted to love this house. Sadly, upon arrival, there were some immediate negatives. Although the description stated there were three parking spots, this was simply not feasible given the shared driveway with four other homes. We only had one vehicle and could park parallel along the back of the house, which worked out for our neighbours, who had to use part of the other parking spot. If two vehicles had been parked side-by-side, there would be no safe way to open the car doors. Furthermore, it was quite the daily challenge to navigate exiting the driveway in reverse and miss the rock ledge. The landscape had been poorly maintained with multiple weeds. Upon entering the house, the layout was charming; however, the carpet had multiple stains and evidence of dog damage from toenails (I am thankful this house is dog-friendly, as we brought our dog. We always get him groomed before renting a home to safeguard from any damage on our part). The Xbox required a subscription, which should have been explicitly stated rather than giving the impression that a game console was accessible to visitors. The community pool was closed and most likely seasonal, which is fine, but the photo and description should have stated this. Finally, the hot tub did not provide much privacy from people and the fire pit was directly exposed to the wind (the community fire pit was lovely). On a positive note, the house was a short walk to the beach and well-stocked with towels and kitchen needs.

Thank you for staying with us and for the review. I’m sorry your stay didn’t earn five stars. I apologize the parking was tighter than expected. We've mapped out the standard-sized vehicle spaces in this driveway to ensure that three will fit, but we'll work on writing up a better visual for our renters so they can use that to guide them. I’m sorry about the landscaping and the carpet damage you found. I’ve notified our housekeeping and maintenance teams of your concerns so that they can get to work on remedying them promptly. I’m glad you enjoyed the short walk to the beach and found the kitchen and towel supply helpful, thank you for sharing those highlights of the stay.
