Ocean view was fabulous, house was clean, easy getting in. Quiet neighborhood and easy to find. Access to beach was easy and convenient. The house could use some up dates in both bathrooms and bed linens and towels

Overall the house was great. The location was what we needed and loved the view from the deck. Great place to set and enjoy the sounds and sites of the ocean. We were a group of five women, sisters and our mom, and we all agreed it’s time the house had some minor repairs done and a good overall cleaning and washing of all bedding. Otherwise a great place to spend a few days.

Overall a wonderful stay. Pros: Great views and location. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had cookware and dishes, towels and bedding were all ready for us. Cons: Barbecue handle broken making it dangerous to cook with, WiFi didn’t work (messaged host and said they’d send a tech but we’d rather not be disturbed on our trip), one bathroom sink drain didn't drain properly, upstairs shower drain stuck on plugged unless holding open, minor signs of mold (it’s the coast, moisture is going to happen) and I woke up with an inch long Centipede crawling on my face at 2AM in the upstairs bedroom.
Great view from back deck
Upstairs ceiling tiles dropping from likely moisture damage

Thank you for the 5-star review and for noting you enjoyed the views, location, and that the home felt clean, comfortable, and well stocked for your stay. We're very sorry about the issues you experienced. We take safety and comfort seriously and are addressing these concerns with the help of our maintenance team. I know they already had Spectrum's repair the wifi and that the BBQ handle was replaced. Thank you for bringing these items to our attention and rest assured, we will conquer this list in short order. We appreciate you choosing Meredith Lodging and hope to host you again.

Beautiful view with a lot of room

My family enjoyed this stay very much. We had enough room for all 10 of us and a short walk to the beach. Would love to stay at this location again! Only problem I had was when I booked the room it said there was a hot tub, but there is NO hot tub at this location.

Hi Sarah! We are so glad you had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Regarding the hot tub listing - as our guest agent mentioned to you on 9/21 - this is a VRBO error; however, we do apologize for any frustration or disappointment caused. We loved hosting your family at Owl Lookout, and hope you will return!
