Welcome to Gatlinburg Towers Condo Unit 501, a beautifully decorated 3BR / 3BA one-level condo located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Just half a block from the trolley stop and within easy walking distance to the Parkway, this condo offers unbeatable access to restaurants, attractions, and entertainment—no steep mountain roads required.
Located on the 5th floor with elevator access, this peaceful mountain retreat is nestled against the Smokies while keeping you close to all the action. Enjoy morning coffee or evening relaxation on the private covered balcony, where you can take in mountain sunsets, fresh air, and views of downtown Gatlinburg.

Nice location, host was responsive. Unit needs updates but we were expecting that from previous posts. No TV service and never could connect to Wi-Fi.

Could have used a few things in the kitchen( a sheet pan, an ice maker) We had a bear visit that was very cool. The unit doesn't have Washer/Dryer and the coin laundry was over five dollars. The maintenance staff were nice. The indoor pool was a rarity for the area, but was cold. Over all the value, location and the unit were good, we'd rent again

Area of property great, condo not so great

Check in check out process easy. Conditions of the condo need upgrades. Kitchen chair seat cushions dirty, mattress on pull out couch was nasty. Lightbulbs in lamps were out and some electrical outlets did not work. The den area appeared larger in the pictures. There were not enough wash cloths-only 2 for 3 nights.We will not stay at this condo again.

Great location but rooms are not clean

Pictures are very deceiving, the unit is cramped and does not have adequate lighting and some of the lights did not work at all. The other quirks was most the outlets we tried to use you had to hold the plug in or else it would fall out. The rooms didn’t look they had been cleaned in quite some time and we found bugs as well I will not be staying here again.

Old and dirty

The propery is old. The condo was not well kept. Walls were dirty,mold in bathroom. The photos look much better than in reality. Elevator floor is very soft.

Great stay

We had a pretty great stay. The place had plenty of space for us to sleep and the communication was very good. We received a courtesy call and reported that the aluminum pans under the burner on the stove were old and rusty and they came and replaced it.

There was white rice in beds. Our daughter spilled something on the floor the towel was black . This is when we Really looked and everything was dirty no one cleaned anything 8 light switches didnt anything on or off. The bedroom closes to the door the air conditioner did not work properly There was Not enough seating for 8 people. There was no parking we had to park across the street. The bathroom were awful not cleaned,falling apart. Everything online did NOT match the actual room, very disappointing for over $2k We will never be back and we will let people know

Worst property ever

Property was horrible. Old and dated and not kept up. Cabinets coming off the hinges, old dirty shower tubs, stains on the walls, window sills not cleaned. 50 dead lady bugs. In addition, there were cockroaches in the sink when we we got up in the morning. Worst property we stayed in ever.

Disappointment

I do not normally do these reviews, especially if I do not first make the issues known to the property. However, in this case I am going to be brutally honest. This property was terrible, it was bug infested, the floor and bedding was dirty. I was tempted to leave immediately to a find suitable place to stay, but because we arrived so late, we just stayed. Upon arrival, we had alarms going off inside the wall, found out it was something to do with the water heater sensor. The toilet in one room was not useable, the bathtubs are stained and need refinished. Very old and run down. No one onsite to assist with anything. Parking is terrible, no one parked within the lines, so you were lucky to find a spot. The distance from town was probably accurate, but they could be more transparent on the terrain. If we were not in fairly decent condition we could not walk into town and back very easily.

Highly displeased

When walking into the main building before ever getting in the elevator it smelt like sour water and body odor. Unfortunately the elevators matches the funk smell. Then for the unit: you cannot sit outside on the balcony because a large portion of the balcony walls, floor and the chairs have little bugs on them that look like ticksThe lamps in the bedrooms did not have the switches like they had been unscrewed from the lamp so you couldn’t turn the lamps on in the first bedroom, no matter how you adjusted the air unit it smelt like mold The toilet in the first bathroom to the left the toilet plumbing would not work. The chain kept coming off the hook, so you had to keep fixing the toilet in order for it to flush. The back bedroom to the left, the tub is rusted out by the drain and least rustolumn the tub , and there’s mold all over the wall where the tub and the wall meet also in that bedroom, there was decorations still hanging from the wall and tape hanging from the living room wall, where it plainly says in the rules that there’s no partying in the room if the guest previous had done that fine, but at least we could’ve removed all the tape and Decorations hanging from the walls On top of all of that, we had the lovely guest in the kitchen, which were roaches they were on everything. I didn’t ask for people to come in and fix these issues because we are on vacation and we Didn’t go to Gatlinburg to have to sit in the room to wait on your staff to do their job

property overall was nice. just a small issue one of the toilets that kept running or chain jammed. room very spacious really liked, kitchen equipped very well. Did not like that incline parking but its the mountains well expected. I feel for the price of the condo that a few discount tickets to any attraction should have been offered or included.

The condo was clean. The kitchen was spotless!! The teens enjoyed the PacMan games. Overall a good place to stay.

Christmas Fun

The unit was as described. Clean for the most part but could use some updates. Shower curtain in one bathroom stained. No lights in one bedroom, luckily we didn’t need that bedroom as one of our travelers couldn’t make it. Also needs a “book” of information to tell you how to work TV, heat, fireplace, etc. I t is walkable to downtown Gatlinburg but not a short one.

Close to town

Place was close to town, able to walk to see Christmas parade. Saw a bear in the back area that was cool. Living room and kitchen a bit small but it worked for 6 people except they only had 3 forks. Other than that everything was good.

It wasn’t bad definitely not great kinda lacked some things that are typically in a vacation rental it was also a tad dirty but great location ps the fireplace sets off the fire alarm so not really useable.

It was nice

The view was "okay". Would have liked more windows, but it is what it is. Trying to figure out how to check in was difficult, but the property management took care of it. Very clean and comfortable. Not a bad walk to the strip.

Great Stay, Great Location, Great Staff!

The experience, location and property was great. The staff was fantastic! There was a drain clogged and they responded quickly and it was fixed. The condo does eed some cleaning under the beds, couch and nightstand. There was cheese puffs under the nightstand and bed and dirt and under the couch when pulling out the sleeper and toys under the recliner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the closeness to everything.

Don't stay here!!!!

There are NO amenities at this place. The pool is TINY, we were only given 3 rolls of toilet paper to last 6 people for a week. Not enough towels without washing (and there is no change machine in the laundry area and who has 18 quarters on them), NO dishwashing liquid, and the dishwasher had some kind of rust-like water in the bottom of it. Some of the outlets don't work so be sure to check when charging devices. The toaster didn't work, the WiFi didn't work, the light in one of the shower areas was SO dim we had to shower with the door open, and you have to jiggle the toilet handle just right to get it to flush. The rug in the sitting area was FILTHY. The walk back from town is uphill and difficult. There are plenty of other places to stay with nice pools for the kids and better provisions/amenities. I don't recommend staying here.
