Wedding vacation

Had a nice stay in this little apartment. Was close to the beach and restaurants. We had a nice time staying here. Only drawback was being on the first floor, had some very noisy people above usOverall we enjoyed our time there

Tweaks and its a gold star

The concept of washing our own towels instead of exchanging them was not a good feeling. For this price, a towel exchange should be available. We had 4 towels for 2 people and there for 5 days. So we had to triple up on towels. They would have exchanged them for a fee. The place was great otherwise. Parking arrangements could have been a little clearer. We had to ask a few questions and the host replied very fast. Thanks

Won’t be staying here again!

The location of this condo is absolutely perfect…less than a three minute walk to the beach, restaurants within a walking distance, and the rental comes with free parking and use of beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The owner seems to be very kind and is easy to get in contact with. However, none of the issues listed below were resolved during our stay: 1. The Murphy bed is by far the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. Absolutely miserable to sleep on and unacceptable quality of a mattress. 2. The wall-mounted air conditioner right above the bed sounded like it was chewing up aluminum cans. My husband was able to fix it but it was still quite loud and made it hard to fall asleep . 3. Spectrum cable went out in the entire condo property for approximately 12 hours. Not the owner’s fault, but an issue nonetheless. 4. There was a water main issue on the property that caused the water to be shut off for several hours. Again, not the owner’s fault but an issue nonetheless. 5. The bathroom sink had a slow leak on the floor and barely any water came out of the faucet even with both knobs completely open. 6. The shower drain was clogged from day one but would slowly drain. However, on day two, it became 100% clogged and would not drain at all. After the second day of a seven night rental, we were left no choice but to find a different place to stay. We plan on visiting St. Pete beach again next year, but will not be rebooking at this location.

Perfect place for my girlfriend and I in our late 20s

The place was absolutely perfect being in our late 20s. Super close walk to everything including the beach, groceries, beach bars, and just all-around fun. Very clean as well and checking in was super easy. Don was super responsive and helped with any questions we had during our stay. He was even nice enough to fully reimburse us if Hurricane Ian had affected the area (thankfully it didn't) even though we did not buy travel insurance. I would recommend this place to any two people looking for an awesome vacation. Thanks for everything Don! Also, definitely recommend the free island hopper to get around and to try out John's Pass. We rented a golf kart for pretty cheap as well for the day at Toy Barn. Rick's Reef, Toasted Monkey, and Jimmy B's were some of our favorite closeby bars.

Location is great. Was on ground level so no steps and had a lot of amenities in the rental to make my vacation easy! Chairs for the beach and umbrella ☂ extra beach towels even! ❤️

Perfect location

One of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed in. Location is close to everything you could ever need, sand and saltwater included. Will definitely return .

Perfect location for couples in St Pete!

Don’s condo was the perfect spot for our St. Pete getaway! We were able to check in a bit early which was so helpful after having an early flight. Everything that we needed was within walking distance…restaurants, groceries, liquor store, bars, and the BEACH! We were steps away from the beach and we loved being able to walk right to the string of beach bars that St. Pete has to offer (PCI, Jimmy B’s and Coconut Charlie’s were some of our favorites). There were also a ton of restaurants lining Sunset Way. We adored Rick’s Reef and the Bloody Mary bar! This condo was perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the morning in the kitchen. It was so nice to have a cooler, chairs, and an umbrella accessible to use on the beach! It should be noted that the bed pulls out from the wall right in the kitchen/dining/living room area, but that didn’t bother us being a couple! Would definitely stay here again!

Great condo

The condo was perfect for me and my husband. It was comfortable and it was close to many restaurants that we walked to. The beach was very close, the pool was great and the shuffle board we used a lot!

Great stay with only three small issues.

Main issues were with the bathroom. The drain for the bathtub was slow and would not drain at times. There was a crack on the toilet seat that would pinch us when we sat down. There was also a very small leak somewhere behind the sink or the toilet. Other than these, the room was what my wife and I intended and used. Overall stay 4 outta 5.

Perfect beach location

We booked this property for the location and around the purpose of our stay- to go to the beach. The location by far exceeded expectations. We were a stone's throw away from a beach entrance and within walking distance from restaurants and beach bars- exactly what we wanted. The parking was included and enabled us close access to the beach. Don provided fabulous recommendations and was extremely responsive to our communication. When we informed him of a problem with the beach umbrella, he immediately sent a new one to the property and remedied the problem. The pool was a perfect touch after a long day in the sun and was safe and clean to use.

Great gem for relaxation

In a high priced market, this efficiency was a great spot for my wife and I. Just steps from the beach with convenient parking, it was a nice place to recoup at night after spending all day out and about.

Don was a wonderful host. Quick responses via email and very informative in his email whether it was about check in/out or what to do around the town. The condo was also nice and clean and close to everything. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Location!

The property was exactly as described and expected. The complex and unit 801 was safe, quiet, clean and minutes from the beautiful beach. The location was incredible and the pool was a great benefit. Don’s communication was efficient and professional. Highly recommend unit 801 as a solo traveler!

Great Stay at Friendly Native !

Great location, less than a block to white sandy beach. Loved the plush tropical garden area. Very clean condo, beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler provided, great accommodations. We loved it!

Great little studio condo & perfect location

This condo was just as described. Perfect for 2 people. The location is just steps away from the beach and very close to restaurants and the grocery store. The walls are a bit thin, so you can occasionally hear the neighbors TV or others coming/going and walking around on the 2nd floor. Communication with the owner was seamless.

First thing first about Donald. Excellent communication and accommodating. Place was exactly how it was described. Fit was just my wife and I on a last minute Birthday/ Mothers Day long weekend get away. Let’s be clear. If you’re coming to Upham Beach to sleep and stay in your rental… you’re missing the point. And we were just fine with the rental for meeting our needs, which was to sleep, shower, get out of the Sun for a bit and relax. To be continued

Fantastic location and great proprrty

Needed a small quiet, clean place close to the beach. Close to so many things to do, or could stay at the beach This was it. Great communication with owner, very timely and helpful. We will be back, if we can!

Great studio apartment near the beach, many restaurants and stores!

This studio apartment is exactly what we were looking for. It is clean and well maintained. It has a full kitchen, but we didn’t cook any meals there. There were too many restaurants nearby to enjoy! It’s just a short 1/2 block to the gulf beaches. We also used this as a home base to go to the Tampa Bay Blues festival in downtown St. Petersburg. In my opinion it’s in a perfect location.
