We are a host team dedicated to providing a special stay in Kyoto. This area, once home to a thriving district of Nishijin weaving workshops, has a long and rich history as a kimono town. Although fewer people wear kimonos today, we have a deep desire to preserve the charm of this neighborhood. Through staying here, we hope to inspire our guests to take an interest in this unique area and its history, and share its beauty with visitors from all over the world.

Our property is located in an area surrounded by historic landmarks in Kyoto. Within walking distance is the World Heritage-listed Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, known as the sanctuary of the god of learning. It attracts many visitors, especially students and those interested in academic pursuits. Additionally, nearby is the Senbon Shakado (National Treasure), a majestic temple with a peaceful atmosphere that provides visitors with a sense of tranquility.
In this area lies Kamishichiken, a district that preserves the traditional charm of old Kyoto. Kamishichiken, once considered more prestigious than the Gion district due to its proximity to Kitano Tenmangu, has a long history as one of Kyoto’s prominent geisha districts. Here, you can experience the essence of Kyoto’s cultural heritage and enjoy the quiet charm of the area.
The surrounding area also features renowned Kyoto cuisine restaurants, tea houses, and cafes, offering a taste of the city’s unique food culture. Strolling through the traditional townhouses and narrow alleys of Kamishichiken, you can immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of ancient Kyoto and spend a peaceful moment in this historic neighborhood.

"Kino邸は、昭和初期に建てられたと伝わる京町家で、京町家条例で保全地域に指定されている貴重な歴史群に位置する町屋です。近所には国宝や重要文化財の寺院に囲まれており、西陣の趣ある町並みに寄り添うように佇む、静かで風情ある一棟です。間口約2.7間（約5m）、奥行き約6間（約11m）の瓦葺切妻二階建てで、1階正面には出格子や格子戸が並び、2階には虫籠窓が残る、典型的な京町家の姿を今に伝えています。

内部は、かつての土間といった歴史的構造を活かしながら、現代の暮らしに合うよう丁寧に改修。モダンで清潔感のある内装に整えられており、伝統と快適さが共存する空間となっています。特別な意匠は控えめながらも、町家本来の美しさと落ち着きに満ちたひとときをお楽しみいただけます。
