Omena was very kind and check-in was very easy. Downtown area was easy to get around, however not in the safest neighbourhood. Stayed one night, apartment was spacious and newly renovated. Had everything we needed for the night. Would recommend to others visiting Downtown Edmonton.

A couple of hours before checking in, I received a note saying they had to move my son and I from the room we had rented to another room in the same building due to the "room being trashed" by previous guests. Okay... Totally understandable, these things happen... but The new room was smaller and did not have a pull out couch, which I expected to sleep on. The couch that was provided was a two seater, non pull out. Could not get into the building with the instructions sent by the renter, had to wait for someone to leave the building so that we could get in.

Nobody answered when we called up to get into the building but we were able to get in when someone came out, besides not getting an answer at the door the check in instructions were perfect and easy to follow. Someone was parked in the spot we were told to park in and when we messaged the host he said “park anywhere and just let me know which spot you choose”. Also we got a message the night before saying the bed was broken in the suite we booked so we got “upgraded” to another suite. Not sure that it was an upgrade because it did not have a pull out couch (or extra pillows/blankets). I booked a suite for three people and I chose this suite because it had the pull out couch we needed to sleep three people. The view was great and it was very clean just not exactly what we were expecting.
