Location location location! This was the perfect spot for our visit to Acadia. Easily walkable to everything bar harbor has to offer, cute playground around the corner and hosts were so gracious. Would recommend without reservation!

This property is exactly as advertised – except that they don’t tell you how fantastic the host family is! DeeDee and Scott made us feel welcome before we even arrived. The house is clean and well appointed. We didn’t need anything extra in the kitchen. The backyard is delightful in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Long Weekend

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend in Bar Harbor. The house was amazing. Super close to downtown Bar Harbor and the National Park. DeeDee and Scott were super helpful and welcoming. We hope to visit Bar Harbor and stay here again!

Great location! Very spacious!

The house was large with tons of room to entertain and sleep. The bedrooms were big with plenty of room to feel comfortable. Right down the street from the action, 10 min or less walk to everything Bar Harbor. Fantastic location.

Girls Trip

The house was wonderful, very clean, great location, very comfortable. We were five women in our sixties, we get together ever year since the early 2000s and this was one of best trips we have had!

Great place to stay

The property is centrally located such that anything you need is a short walk in Bar Harbor. We really appreciated that the place is well-equipped and super clean, which made the stay very comfortable for our small family and the friends that joined us. The owner is very helpful and clearly cares about the place and guests that stay here!

Wonderful stay in Bar Harbor

The property was spotless upon check in. Location is simply perfect - 5 minutes walk to town center, less than 10 minutes drive to Accadia National Park. The menagment was very attentive and friendly, going beyond expected to insure we enjoyed our stay.

Great house for a big group!

This house was fantastic! It's a quick walk to main street, and only about 10-15 minutes driving to Sand Beach inside Acadia National Park. Super clean, nice backyard, plenty of sleeping space, tvs in every room, wifi...we all really enjoyed it!

Great Stay

DeeDee & Scott were really excellent hosts. Great house for our large family, in a great central location. Easy walk to anything in town, and very close to Acadia entrance. House was very clean, well stocked, and they were super helpful with recommendations, and everything else we needed during our stay.

Family trip to Bar Harbor

We had 6 family members staying at Bar Harbor Oasis for a Thanksgiving reunion. The entire experience was 5 stars. The trip manager was very thorough and timely in providing us with information. The home was exceptional - very clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and five lovely bedrooms with comfortable bedding. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to downtown Bar Harbor. Acadia National Park entrance is also close by. We will definitely keep this property in our travel file for future visits.

Great Stay!

This is a great house walking distance from downtown. The hostess DeeDee is very responsive. She even gave us pizza one night! Such a gracious host! Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous home for family vacation!

We stayed here with 6 adults and 4 children, and this home was perfect for us. Walking distance to everything, including a great playground and skate park. The house was very clean, and Deedee was so great to work with. We would definitely recommend this house!

This is a very clean, well maintained property which is located within walking distance to anything you need. Dee Dee and Scott went out of their way to insure our stay was everything we could have wanted, including a fresh baked pie. I highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay. DeeDee and Scott went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is newly painted, new sheets and towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. You literally cannot beat the location. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable home close to everything in town

Easy to just park and walk into town and very close drive to 2 entrances to acadia national park. There are 2 off street parking spots. The house was quiet inside and bed were comfy. They had fans and window air conditioner units which some rentals here do not. The owners checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed a couple of times during the week. Having 5 bedrooms is nice if you have a group. Kitchen is stocked well. There was a farmers market across the street in the ymca parking lot on sunday. There was also a basketball hoop and skate park there. Nice linens for shower and shower pressure was better than mine at home. And no problem with hot water even with multiple showers or at the same time in the 2 bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. Outdoor patio with a grill and plenty of chairs and fire pit available as well. Would definitely return.

We loved our vacation in Bar Harbor!

Dee Dee and Scott were helpful in every way possible. The house was very clean. 9 of us stayed comfortably. We were close to all attractions. While visiting, we enjoyed a kayak tour, whale watching, hiking in Acadia National park, and bike riding. We will definitely stay here again when we return.
