Great location, needs a refresh!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just stayed here for 5 days with my family. The location is excellent. It is a very short walk over to the village, and there is a bus stop right at the bottom of the entry road that was very convenient for getting around town. The condo itself was just good. Living and kitchen space was really open and had everything you can need. The main bedroom is small and there wasn't a lot of room to bring our suitcase in. It did have a TV and dresser with a few drawers clear for use. There is a closet, but it was full of random items and non-functional for use. The second sleeping area is more like a partially closed off den. There is an opening that views directly into the living space and is only covered with blinds for privacy. So if you need a room with privacy/sound control, this doesn't work. The bed takes up the entire space, so not great for adults but worked ok for my two young kids.The gear storage closet just outside the condo was TINY. It had a few sleds inside for our use, but we couldn't store any of our own boards/skis in it overnight. We had to leave it all outside but we didn't have any issues as the area was very quiet and safe. Biggest complaint is that the whole place just needs a good DEEP cleaning and refresh. The carpeting and area rugs were pretty dirty. Also the towels/linens/bedding were old, some had holes, etc. Not sure if anything besides the sheets are being washed between guests? Laundry is in the main office area and not in the condo. This was ok, but for longer stays could be a challenge.We had hoped to enjoy the spa which appeared from pics to be indoors, but it was actually outside and only partially enclosed. Just too cold for us. The main office also had a pool table and ping pong which was fun for the kids. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Generally a good stay for most people, but the condo may not be for everyone if you're picky about things being super clean.

We’re a family of five with three small children and we’ve stayed in a few different condos in Mammoth. Pros: This location is amazing and walking ten minutes to the gondola was awesome. The mountain view was a plus. Very pleasantly surprised to have new pots and pans. Lots of towels, toilet paper and soap provided. Hot tub area was also super fun. Cons: The welcome messages are not polite and are not informative. There was no info about the pellet stove or ski lockers. The second bed is NOT a bedroom but just a bed with makeshift walls with a curtain. The place didn't feel clean, rugs were pretty dirty and the closets and cupboards were really disorganized.

This is not a two bedroom. It’s a one bedroom with a makeshift wall around a second bed. The “second bedroom” has a sheet for a door and one of the walls has a window sill with no glass window in it. The rooms were also dirty with used towels on the floor when we got there. I called the reservation number provided on the confirmation and sent a message through VRBO because we also needed a blanket for the second bed and we never heard back from them. Would not recommend this place or stay there again.

Great Ski Lodge

My wife, teenage son and I stayed for 5 days in April, 2025. Everything was as advertised. Clean and well kept. Easy walk to the village. There was an issue with the pellet stove so I texted the owner. They responded and had someone out there next morning to fix it Couldn’t recommend it higher. Will be my first check for availability next time we go to Mammoth.

Great Place to Stay except for the Moldy bathroom

Location and grounds for this condo are great Carlos the property manager is amazing, very helpful, and kind!! We were very excited to stay at this condo. Everything was perfect until we started to get sick. We noticed there was a strong odor of mold coming from the bathroom. The floor is not sealed properly in the bathroom and visible water damage from the toilet because of the condensation from the tank.We stayed here with another couple friend’s that stayed in the nook “bedroom” our friend was pregnant. I’m so thankful they didn’t stay in the master. We stayed in the master that has a sharing wall in the closet to the bathroom. After staying there for one night I lost my voice so did my husband and we both got nosebleed’s wheezing and a strong cough through out our stay. Everything we kept in the closet of the master reeked of mold and we couldn’t even bring it into our home. When I brought this to the attention of the condo owner I was brushed off and was told “mold that usually doesn’t grow in mammoth.because of the dry climate “ that is hilarious. This is a serious health hazard.
