We certainly wished you would have notified us of these issues when you arrived, however you stayed the night, and then reported an ibuprofen found on the coffee table, and a marijuana smell in the house in the late afternoon the day after your arrival. My cleaner took accountability for the ibuprofen she placed on the table and forgot to pick up, and we apologized. We have a strict no smoking policy in the house. The handyman, and house cleaner were in the house the day you arrived and noted there was no smell of marijuana. Although marijuana is legal in Oregon, we still offered you a equitable credit to remedy the issue. You did not reply to our message when we offered a resolution. We follow VRBO's relaxed cancellation policy which allows you to cancel up to 14 days before your arrival. We do not allow for a 100% refund after you arrive and stay in the house because your plans change. We are in a woodsy area in Oregon, and insects live outside. Host are responsible to insure the inside of the home is clean and comfortable. We do not advertise the garage nor the outside as a place to dwell during your stay. Short term rental cleaners have grown accustom to taking pictures after each clean to mitigate innkeeper fraud. We've maintained a 5-Star rating on VRBO for three years, and would've made every effort to fix anything you weren't comfortable with, had you given us the opportunity and communicated/notified us.
