This retreat has been recently updated (2022) for your convenience! When you book this retreat, you will find new luxury vinyl flooring in the kitchen and living room, remodeled bathrooms, new carpet in bedrooms, new window treatments throughout the condo, and a new sectional sofa. Additionally, the entire condo has been deep cleaned and painted!

You are just steps to Sea Colony's private beach and oceanfront pools from the patio of this convenient first floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront condo! An easy one-level design, this resort retreat features a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite! Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. 3 TVs, DVD, Blu-ray, Wifi.

Sea Colony - The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community - features a half mile of private beach, 12 pools (2 indoor), world class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, community shuttle and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world.

Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Great location

Views of the ocean. Steps to the pool and beach. Plenty of outdoor seating. Beach chairs, a buggy, and an umbrella were available. Minutes to the boardwalk and other beaches. Really a great stay!

Love the first floor- easy to get in and out and have fun! Place is awesome, just needs a garbage can in the second bathroom. Also, the beds are quite bouncy, so they need better support and aren’t exactly comfortable to sleep in due to the bounciness. Otherwise, we love the place!

The condo was conveniently located near the elevator and it was great being on the first level with the walkout to the veranda. The view was beautiful. The condo was clean. Make sure you pack a hair dryer and other daily household things… there isn’t anything there. The indoor pool hours are a little wonky.

Great location and space, but a little dated

Location is great, but it's a dated property with some improvements (e.g., new appliances). It is quite spacious which is great, with plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Wifi was not working (Vacasa customer support did not answer during our stay of 3 nights), doors to bathrooms and rooms were very hard to close, the cover for the water heater was loose, pretty dangerous for little ones.

nice location with seaview. spacious. property would benefit from privacy curtains in living room. while the beds in master bedroom were great, the mattress in kids room could use upgrade. kitchen/cooking equipment barebones but dishes/glasses plentiful. nice furnishings and flooring

Hardly Nailing the Basics…

I’m having a hard time with this review. My family and I spent a lovely week at this property, but I wouldn’t stay in this unit again. We were able to overlook some stains on bed covers. The unit had mostly adequate cookware. But it wasn’t clean. We found mouse droppings in a closet holding old bed linens. There were crumbs in the made beds, and left over candy wrappers. The unit was recently renovated but you’d never know it based on the furniture. For example one of the Queen beds had the headboard snapped off, so that bed wasn’t usable. The biggest issue we had with this unit, is that it was on the first floor (which was great for getting out and about!) but had NO BLINDS in the family room. This unit had a pull out sofa in the family room and thank heavens we didn’t need it because we didn’t have had privacy for the entire week. Vacasa did what they could but they can’t make blinds appear out of thin air. It’s a shame because it wasn’t a cheap rental, and everything else about Sea Colony and the location were so lovely. The owners know they have a great spot but do themselves a disservice in not ensuring a clean operation of their own unit.

Great location

The decor is nice, not over the top. There are numerous items that should be addressed. First the sliding door was unlocked. I will start with the bedrooms. The master bedroom pillows should be replaced. One of them has a bad odor and they appear to be old. The mattress was ok but will need replaced very soon. The bathroom off of the other bedroom did not have a waste can and the walk in shower drains very slowly. The outlets are out of code as one did not have a cover plate in the master bedroom. The other one is at the sofa where the table lamp was unplugged because the knob to turn on and off is missing. The hall light did not work. The light over the dining table needs to have bulbs replaced and there are wires exposed under the fixture. We replaced the battery in the kitchen clock. We were not provided with kitchen towels and cloth. The drawers in furniture in master bedroom were askew and did not shut correctly. The furniture in living and dining rooms was nice. We did not have serving spoons or a pan for the broiler (bottom was missing) there are not enough silverware for the amount of occupants allowed. The pots and pans are alot to be desired. No fry pan worth using. I understand it is hard to keep these things worthy of the rental as not everyone cares enough about how they use other peoples property. We did appreciate the new fridge with all the shelves in the door and inside the fridge and freezer. Also the microwave and stove were great as well as the dishwasher

Great Girls Getaway

Cute beachfront condo

Was pleasantly surprised the renovations were completed before our stay. Beautiful bathrooms, Comfy couch, nice floors. Clean condo, with the perfect location. Walk right out to the beach and pool! Loved the amenities of Sea Colony! Broken dishwasher, but maintenance came same day. Would recommend a new bed frame for full bed in bunk room as it was very wobbly. Other than that no complaints. Look forward to visiting again!

Very Disappointing

We have vacationed at Sea Colony for 14 years and always had positive experiences until this year. Condo was dirty, not maintained, peeling paint, delaminated vanities, mold in bathrooms and living room ceilings, cheap beds, cheap furniture, broken desk furniture, and even the coffee pot didn’t work … Super disappointing!!
