Enjoy a full kitchen and dining area, comfortable living spaces, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces, a game room, and a spacious back deck with living room access.

With private views of Massanutten Mountain and a peaceful backyard perfect for spotting local wildlife, Woodside Refuge will feel like a secluded mountain retreat while maintaining close proximity to popular resort attractions like the Indoor/Outdoor WaterPark, Woodstone Meadows Golf Course and VA BBQ & Pizza Co. Interested in exploring unique offerings off the resort? You will also be just minutes away from some of the best local shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

Please note that the passes provided allow access to the following Recreational Centers at no additional cost:
Massanutten Fitness & Rec Club includes a fitness room, indoor pool, game room, hot tub, co-ed steam and sauna rooms.
Woodstone Recreation includes a game room, indoor basketball court, racquetball courts, indoor & outdoor (seasonal) pool, and tanning bed.
Check-In begins at 4pm Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is at 10am.
*Woodside Refuge is a pet-friendly home. Dogs only please. Additional fees apply.

The house was cozy and conveniently located near various amenities. It was approximately a 20-minute drive from JMU, depending on traffic conditions. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, though guests may wish to bring their own salt, pepper, and spices for cooking. Overall, it provided a pleasant getaway experience. We hope to utilize the amenities during our next visit. Our intention was to assist our daughter with her move to JMU while also enjoying a relaxing retreat. We brought our small dog, and despite the initial allowance for two pets, our dog Bolt thoroughly enjoyed the stay too.

Perfect spot for a Shenendoah Vacation

Great location for access to the park, which was our primary purpose of the stay. However, the proximity to the resort was great as the kids loved the waterpark. The property was clean and tidy, everything was provided and it was a very comfortable stay. Would certainly recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

Love the property for everything it was so quiet and relaxing. The house had everything you needed. We did bonfires in the back. The resort itself has so much stuff to do. It was overall a very happy vacation definitely will come back.

Great spot for multiple couples

We really enjoyed our stay. Even though there were only 2 of us (and the dog). We would certainly go back with another couple, it is ideal for that as there was plenty of room and we could each have our own king/bath combo. That is hard to find AND the property was central to our activities.

Close to Swift Run entrance to the park

The home was spacious and clean but it’s a bit outdated. For the price I guess that’s to be expected. Every thing was in working order. There were quite a few bees around the back deck and the patio furniture was weathered wood. Overall it was just okay but I would probably not stay more than a few days.

Wonderful property for children and pets

Lovely property with lots of room, spacious yard for our dog and nicely stocked with cook ware. We loved the area because the local "resort" has something for everyone whether it be skiing, water park, golf, etc. Tripforth was easy to work with. We will be returning!

Very Happy

The layout of the house was spectacular. Was able to access the kitchen from the hallway and living room creating a circle. Loads of light sources, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen is there, plenty of linens and paper products, and it was very clean. We had trouble with a light in the basement bathroom but communication was quick and the problem fixed same day. I would gladly stay here again!! A perfect place for any family to stay at.

Great Stay

This was a great place to stay. Pet friendly! Plenty of room. Would recommend hooms in the bathroom to hang towels. Would also recommend the host to prepare a book for renters that would list the area amenities. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful location Kitchen perfectly equipped to have all meals in. Spacious main floor. Comfortable beds. Would be wonderful if gas logs were added since fireplaces are mot available to be used.
