If you like History, awesome mountain views and antiques, old New Mexico style, yet being able to walk a few steps to local wineries , award winning restaurants, lovely quant shopping or to the church on the central plaza... this is your place. Billy the Kid was jailed in adjoining historical building. World renown La Posta de Mesilla restaurant is across the street, est in 1800's as a butter field stage stop to Mexico! A few steps away from Mesilla Plaza center, Basilica, Award winning restaurants and wineries! This vacation rental takes you back in time but with awesome views , location, modern comfort of full kitchen, internet ,comfortable king and queen beds and rooms, with a scattering of historic pieces, 7 stained glass pieces, antique light fixtures, and fun antiques from the wild west , Billy the kid , Pat Garrett and New Mexico Culture.
This apartment is on 2nd floor and you need to be fit to *CLIMB 13 STAIRS*.
2 bedrooms, but living room has pull out full size sleeper couch.

The best ever!!

This location was amazing! The decor was just beautiful and the property manager checked in with me daily to make sure there wasn't anything I needed.

Such a gem

Second time staying here and still a fantastic property, thoughtfully decorated and supplied, roomy, comfy bed and the location on the plaza, couldn’t get much better than this. Julienne always is ready to help if you need anything. This remains my go to place

Great location

Location is fantastic. Elderly or disabled would be different due to stairs and entry doorways. It is like having a personal apartment to come back to. Plenty of room to relax and so close to shops and dining/coffee. Would stay again!

Perfect for Visiting Family in Cruces

I booked this location not knowing it was one I had been by every day in my life. Being a native from Mesilla Park who comes back to visit family, I think this location is so much better than any hotel! I traveled with my two kids and they thought it was fantastic! Not to mention opening the windows of the Pat Garret room and smelling La Posta food, or opening the windows in the kitchen and smelling fresh chips from the Double Eagle. I was in heaven. We will definitely be booking this place again when we come back to visit family.

Billy slept here

Well, he almost certainly didn’t but it feels like he could have. This place was just fabulous, starting with the location, which is near one corner of the Mesilla town plaza and just across from La Posta. Spacious place with a TV sitting room, two nice bedrooms, and beautiful kitchen, with laundry. Julienne’s team was on top of everything from start to finish and checked in just enough. I’ll definitely come back here.

Tricky to find location but wonderful place to stay

Overall this was a great place to stay. The location is awesome, right in the heart of the charming little old town of Mesilla and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. It is also on the 2nd floor of the building. There is parking for one car in a car port, otherwise street parking. Because of its location, it could be noisy for sleeping although this wasn't an issue for us. We had some difficulty finding it (narrow streets and poor signage of street names). Once we did, getting in was no problem. The place is roomy and had everything we needed for our stay.

Nice place and nice location!

The location of this is excellent. Adjacent to the plaza, across from La Posta, which is a great restaurant.
