Wow -what a beautiful house and amazing host. Our family had a wonderful time at Family Time Shines Here! Tom is a great host, always responsive and super helpful for our stay. This is our new favorite place to stay at OIB!

This property is amazing and absolutely perfect for a large group. The host was always available and very helpful. The house has a fantastic layout for large groups to eat and hang out together. The kitchen is wonderful. 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers. It is stocked with everything you need to cook for a large group. Pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses…everything! We have stayed at many different places but this was by far the best equipped. The pool is also very nice with lots of seating, lounge chairs and deck space. The BEST part is the walkway to the beach! It extended all the way to the actual sand on the beach and it had a ramp own to the beach (NO STEPS DOWN TO BEACH!!!)It was a fabulous week and we will definitely book again! Thank you!

MDW 2025 Family Beach trip

This was a great house for our family of 30 for the weekend. We had all ages and everyone had a great time. The house was clean and spacious and oceanfront location was perfect! The whole family had a wonderful weekend!

Love the house!

Great house and location! Lots of room and everyone had their own bathroom! The kitchen is great for a large group of people with lots of room to move around! We would most definitely stay there again!

Best week at the beach with family!

The owner, Tom, was very responsive and helpful with any questions we encountered. The house was beautifully updated and had lots of space for everyone to hang out. We especially loved the pool!

The home is absolutely beautiful and the kitchen is well stocked and organized especially for the number of guests. Location is convenient for walking to the pier and coffee shop. Host was amazing to work with and answered our questions promptly. We already booked for next year! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home!

Great rental

The property was as advertised. The group we had really enjoyed everything the house had to offer and the owner was fantastic! I definitely recommend this house if you have a large group of family.

Perfection!

Over the years, we have stayed in many beach houses and this one beats them all — excellent communication with the owner, beautifully appointed and comfortable furnishings, large pool, new walkway to the beach and the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. Add to that games, books, fussball and a lower level room with lots of beach accessories to use during your stay.

Great place for a large group

This home is laid out very well to accommodate a large group with each bedroom having a bathroom. The two large living areas and porches give ample space to spread out. The icing on the cake is the view! You can enjoy sunrises and sunsets!

Perfect Family Vacation!

We had a fantastic vacation and this property was perfect! Plenty of room for our group. We had great fun at the pool and foosball tournaments upstairs. Also able to have separate down time when needed. The beach was gorgeous with many hours spent relaxing. The owner was communicative and thorough. Absolutely no issues at all!

Friends Beach retreat

We had a wonderful time at the house. The gourmet kitchen and two separate living room spaces were perfect for our group of 19. Although there were a few maintenance issues (a toilet with a loose seat and a toilet with problems flushing), these minor issues didn't spoil our wonderful time. The owner was very good at answering my questions before our stay. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Friends and kids getaway

This house was perfect for our friend reunion trip with six families total. Everyone had a blast from six months to six years and everywhere in between. We appreciated having the pool and also appreciated the safety measures including secure fencing, and latched gates. Enjoyed many meals I n the spacious kitchen and table. Perfect location, walked to the nearby playground! Hope to come back!

Great family reunion location

We had 26 people under one roof for a family reunion. Family stretched from California to NY to FL and states in between this is our fifth stay at OIB and we hope to do it again in a few years back at the same location. Everyone had their own bathroom and there are two family rooms to enjoy. The owner is very responsive to all inquiries. We can’t wait to come back. It was hard to leave.

Celebration of Life

Wonderful. Everyone loved the house, the view. Perfect place for our celebration of my father who passed away in May. His favourite beach was Ocean Isle and I remember why. We had a private chef cater our dinner and the kitchen was great. Great counter space, extended dining table. Very nice and comfortable.
