We loved our stay! The location was beautiful and perfectly located on Lake Superior for our purposes. The cabin will accommodate a large group nicely though there were only two of us in the end. The beds were comfy, water was hot with good pressure for showering, and the property is quiet and well maintained. Some attention should be given to cleaning the oven and fireplace, adding a deadbolt to the inside entry door because the door pops open at times, and having welcoming chairs around the fire pit would make it perfect. Though communication was not forthcoming without initiation, when we needed special consideration Kevin responded quickly and kindly, which we really appreciated! Everything considered 5 stars!

Kevin was an excellent host. He was easy to contact and allowed us to check in early. The proximity to the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed the views of the lake and spending time on the beach. Our only concerns were the cleanliness of the Vrbo. The other concern was that pictures did not always accurately represent the property.

This was a wonderful property. The house had everything you could need. Plenty of room and the bedrooms were all very comfortable. There was a very short walk through the woods to a beautiful beach that ran a great distance. All in all a perfect vacation home. Would definitely go back.

Great cozy vacation home with everything you need. The fireplace was awesome on all the cold nights. Great place to go to have snow almost guaranteed for Christmas. Comfy beds and several to choose from. Good location to see several falls. Very close access to the beach. I would highly recommend this house.

Our stay at this Lake Superior cabin was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and beautifully maintained the property is. The cabin itself is spotless, cozy, and perfectly situated to enjoy the lake. The trail is super cute and the lake/beach is breathtaking. One of the biggest highlights was the fully stocked kitchen. It had everything we needed (and more!) to cook full meals without ever feeling like we were missing a tool. It made our stay feel incredibly comfortable and home-like.The host was equally wonderful—welcoming, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell they’ve put a lot of care into making sure guests have a seamless, relaxing experience. From little touches throughout the cabin to helpful recommendations about the area, we felt truly taken care of.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway on Lake Superior with all the comforts of home and an exceptional host, this cabin is a perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

This property came into our lives after years of searching, and from the moment we arrived, we knew it was special. What captured us instantly were the breathtaking views—freighters gliding by as you relax on the beach or take in the scenery from the overlook.

Across the water, the shoreline of Canada and the distant landscape create a truly mesmerizing backdrop. On sunny days, Lake Superior transforms into a stunning turquoise, often reminding us of the ocean.

The beach stretches for miles in both directions, perfect for long, peaceful walks. A short path leads you straight to the shoreline—your own private escape. Down by the water, the deck is the perfect spot to unwind and take in unforgettable sunsets.

In the winter months, nearby snowmobile trails open up endless opportunities for adventure.
