The Space:

Steam curls from the hot tub as the cool mountain air settles around you, and the hush of the Shenandoah Valley wraps the cottage in quiet. Light filters through the sunroom’s large windows, catching the bare winter branches and turning the woods into a soft, moving backdrop. Inside, warm radiance and simple comforts invite you to unwind, while the scent of pine mingles with a faint, lingering hint of the home’s past. You can feel the pace slow the moment you step onto the private patio and hear the distant call of night birds.



Sleeping arrangements

Two bedrooms comfortably sleep four guests. The master bedroom holds a queen bed, and the second bedroom features a set of bunk beds. Fresh linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided for chilly evenings. A spacious loft offers a cozy spot to read or gather, though it is intended for lounging rather than sleeping.



Living spaces

The main living area is bright and welcoming, with radiant heating that keeps the interior snug in winter. A Smart TV and fast WiFi let you stream shows or catch up on work, and a dedicated workspace with a door provides a quiet spot for productivity. The sunroom looks directly onto the surrounding woods, perfect for sipping coffee while watching snowfall drift through the trees. An indoor fireplace is decorative only and cannot be used.

A very slight smoke smell may be noticeable to those who are highly sensitive. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but leaves from the natural setting—such as leaves or pollen—may still be present, especially in certain seasons.
