Follow the sun to Avon's oceanfront 18 unit Islander Condominium site. The condos are located within easy walking distance to the Avon Fishing Pier, many restaurants, and Club Hatteras. There is also supermarket access minutes down the street.

All units have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master bedroom suite has a Jacuzzi and direct access to a deck. The combination living, dining, and kitchen areas are well furnished, spacious and comfortable to provide you the necessities while you enjoy your stay in Avon. All units have furnished covered decks for that great afternoon nap. Community amenities include a private pool and private boardwalk to one of the best beaches in the outer banks. Come to the Island for your vacation.

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.

Things to know:
This condo is on the second level of the Islander condominiums.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Security camera details: Ring door bell located at the front door.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Property is very dated, old furniture, old terrible mattresses, old decor and the pillows were yellow stained when we stripped the bed. Lots of unnecessary decor cluttering living spaces and shelving in bathrooms. Master bath has no room to put any of your toiletries etc. Location and amenities of property were nice.

First time stay

We will definitely be back! Condo was well kept and supplied with everything we needed. The agency (Vacasa) was easy to work with. They followed up with answers to our emails quickly and kept us informed.

Great beach house

Overall this was a great beach house. The boardwalk to the beach was close by and got us over the dune easily. House was clean. In house washer/dryer was very useful. Great location in Avon - short walking distance to a coffee shop, short drive or longer walk to dinner or ice cream. Very clean at check in. Kitchen had basic supplies.

Good location

Perfect for a couple or a small family. View of the ocean from the bedroom and the balcony. Easy access to the beach. But we can hear people walking on the upper level.

Overall it is a nice place. Perfect size for a family of four. It would be helpful to be able to control the temperature. We had very rainy cold days and it was cold in the house. The jet tub had debris coming out of it anytime we started it.

Great experience

It was close to the beach. it's a good area to stay in. You can go 20 minutes to an hour north and get really good food or go south 15 minutes and see the Hatteras light house and go about another 15 minutes and take the ferry to Ocracoke Island. Something to keep in mind is for room 13 you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs so if you have trouble getting up stairs I wouldn't recommend it.

Enjoyed Our Stay

The view is amazing and the location is great. Very peaceful and quiet, condo was just as shown and clean. There are a lot stairs to get to the condo, but it was doable and we really enjoyed our stay!

Island Condo in Avon NC

Perfect for a couple! Great beach access! Enjoyed being able to take advantage of sun and surf. We were too early in the season for the pool. Nice to have the deck to see the sunrise. All the convenience of home and reasonably priced!

Not the vacation we planned....

The time we could arrive at the condo changed 3 times - from 4 pm at the time I signed the agreement to 6 pm on the app to 5 pm on the app and finally to 6 pm on the app. I called and confirmed the time to enter the condo was 6 pm. This was not convenient for my trip. To top that off, housekeeping had not been to the condo (if they were not going to come, why did I have to wait until 6 pm?). I reported this on Sunday morning and the contact indicated I could have housekeeping come out then. I had already cleaned the condo as I was not staying there without wiping down the bathroom and kitchen. After a long day of driving and not getting in until 6 pm, I was not going to delay my vacation waiting on housekeeping on Saturday. That's if I could even get in touch with someone as the office closes at 5 pm. The condo itself was fine and met my needs. I will not rent from Vacasa again due to the experience that I had.

Great Stay (Other than one issue)

Avon Calling was perfect for us! Enough space, updated electronics, and very clean. Although it was the second building of condos there was still a beautiful view of the ocean from the deck and bedroom with the queen! Only issue was the central air was not working and was supplemented with window air conditioners; they worked well enough to keep us cool. But we were not informed beforehand that the central air was not working nor any notes in the home itself; the only sign that it wasn't working were the window ac's and when we tried the central air it was blowing hot air.

Great location, dated appliances

We loved access to the beach, as well as the many things around the pier. The place was nice, but the appliances did have issues, stove wouldn’t turn off, and fridge wouldnt turn on for a while our first night.

Excellent Location!

This is a great location. The unit has more updated features than the pics have on website. The view is undeniable as well as the location. The unit itself is your standard rental condo. A few items to note, the cleaning was subpar with lots of dirt in corners but that is not the fault of the owners more of Vacasa. Also, the kitchen really needs new pots, pans, and a coffee makers as they are old and have build up.

Perfect size and location 👌

The location was fantastic, the weather was fabulous, even with hurricane IAN coming Vacasa let us leave Friday instead of Saturday and gave us our $ back, unheard of honestly. A group of 50 of us go to OBX every September and no other house was offered a safe departure and $ back!!! Definitely a nice little condo but Vacasa gets the 5 star in my eyes.

Great Place

The home was very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great. It was very close to the pier, restaurants, and surf shops.

Avon Calling

We just finished our vacation in OBX. Avon Calling was a wonderful place to call home for the duration of our vacation. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked with cooking essentials, fresh towels, etc. The unit is also close to the pool if you need a break from the beach. We would recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Avon.
