All around 5 stars .We had a great quiet stay at the cabin .Mr.Stanley gave us a little history lesson on the surrounding mountains and was very friendly to talk to several times and answered any questions we had .Cabin was nice clean and in order for us when we got there . Such a great little getaway spot . 5 stars all around .

Cute little spot! Was so close to Asheville. Road up there is not not for the feint of heart but is worth the gorgeous views from the porch. Bed looks out the windows to the mountains. Well stocked kitchen, nice owner!

I had a great stay in the rustic cabin. What a spectacular view and peaceful stay. The cabin had everything I could possibly want including a bear sighting. Thank you George for a wonderful space to decompress!

We absolutely loved George’s cabin it was the perfect place to stay for a nice, comfy, relaxing weekend in the mountains! It was very clean and George was so sweet, it’s wonderful for spotting wildlife we saw a baby bear, lots of turkeys, and a bobcat! I would definitely recommend staying here

This place was amazing! Beautiful views and the cabin was everything i could hope for. Very rustic and so fitting for the scenery. Our host, George was above and beyond for us. He was also an awesome tour guide for us. He actually made this trip for us. He even prepared a birthday meal for me. He allowed my pups and tortoise and I believe he enjoyed all 3 of them. I cant say enough about this whole experience. We are already trying to plan a return trip.Again it was a perfect week for us and we made a new friend.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The long deck provided us with gorgeous views of the mountains. The birds sang to us all morning. The red tailed hawk was a special visitor.We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The cabin is in a beautiful setting. Very quaint. Loved sunrise and relaxing on the porch. George is very welcoming and has put much thought into stocking the place with anything you might need. I would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful scenic getaway. The only caveat is that those with allergies or sensitivities may find the place a little triggering.

George greeted us when we arrived. He is so sweet. The cabin was roomy for the 2 of us and our 3 Chihuahua mixes. Very well stocked with all the appliances you need. We needed nothing to be able to be comfortable. View is spectacular and would be even more so in sunny weather (which we did not have).

The host George was amazing at giving us some places to visit in the area that had what I was looking for. The place is exactly as described in the listing but much better. The bed is comfortable and it's very clean. Usually I do not sleep well away from home. I did here. We saw turkeys and other wildlife too. The views are amazing like nothing else you will experience. You can see the beautiful sunrise from your bedroom window. We will definitely return and will book again for our next Asheville stay. Thank you George for having us from West by God Virginia.

I had a half -finished basement when I purchased the home, which I separated from the house upstairs. I envisioned a downstairs cabin so others could enjoy the beautiful mountains as I do.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Living on a rural mountain and bordering the Biltmore Estate Property, there is an abundance of wildlife - turkey, deer, pheasants, bear, raccoons, generally all sorts of wildlife. I have pictures of bear in the yard and in close-by trees.
At an elevation of 3,346 feet, the cabin overlooks a huge valley. The valley is often filled with fog, creating a beautiful sunrise at eye-level.
