If you’re looking to stay in the lap of luxury on your next trip to the Gulf, come home to "Destination" in the Dunes of Destin community. This Florida treasure offers 3000 square feet of space spanning three floors with multiple balconies and a private pool that overlooks the community lake. Minutes away from a private beach, this is the perfect spot for large families and friend groups looking to relax, celebrate, and make lasting memories.

The main living area is located on the second floor. Featuring an open concept floor plan, this high end spot has everything you need to cook and relax. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a farmhouse sink, and breakfast bar. From a crockpot to a blender, this kitchen has it all! With the large rustic dining table, you can host 11 comfortably. This space leads to the living room, which has comfy seating and a flat screen TV. From here, walk out to one of the three balconies in the home and enjoy that Destin sun while you enjoy a meal outside.

This home offers 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. It has a bonus bunk space in the third floor hall and the home can sleep up to 20 comfortably.

When you’re ready to soak up that Gulf sun, head out back to your very own private pool. This beautiful oasis overlooks the lake and features loungers, a covered patio with TV, and a built-in grill for the perfect afternoon meal. You can also catch some rays on your rental’s roof deck, equipped with loungers.

While the pool is an added bonus, let’s not forget the real reason you’re coming to Destin—the beach! A two minute walk brings you to the sugar white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf. Pack up the complimentary wagons and spend the day on the shoreline. This rental also comes with a beach setup featuring two chairs and one umbrella for your convenience. The view of the ocean was limited, but the view from the rooftop deck was very nice. The one block proximity to the beach was also very great.Amenities such as an elevator, pool, outside gas grill, multiple decks, living space, number of beds, and beach wagon, chairs and toys were all great! The only thing needed is a second refrigerator for a house that can sleep up to 20.

You need to make sure you have plenty of dish soap and washer soap. They supply only enough for 1 day. Beautiful home. It suited us as we had 16 people. Would do it again.

Awesome place

You can tell that a lot of thought went into the design of this place. Spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is a little small, however, just a beautiful space.

Family Spring Break 2023

Started a tad bitr rough in that pool was to be heated upon arrival. Several conversations with property managers who kept stating the heater was on. After 48 hours and finally convincing them it was not on, had not been turned on and in fact the gas was turned off to the heater, they agreed to have service company come out and turn equipment on. Only negative aspect of the entire visit.

A great stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great! We had 15 people and everyone had enough room. The pool with the lake view is the best part of the house! Someone had mentioned that the sun is never on the pool, but we never had that problem. We ran into two problems of a sink staying clogged and outside TV not working. We called about it and they were out the next day. They said the TV needed to be replaced outside, so that was a bummer we never got to use it. Overall, great house that has everything you need! We’ve stayed in 5 other houses in the dunes of Destin and nothing beats this one with the lake view pool!

Had a couple of issues upon check in, but they all were fixed within 24 hours. Heated pool upgrade option was enjoyed by all. Beautiful home. Small suggestion for owner. Hooks for bath towels on the back of the doors in bathrooms. This home came with 2 beach chairs and umbrella set up daily by beach staff. 3-4 minute walk to touch the water. Outdoor grill was a high quality grill. Another suggestion for owner. Refrigerator in garage.

Amazing Place and Perfect Location

We had an amazing stay for a week and the management of the property was top notch! Very professional and efficient to check in and out and communicate whenever necessary. The house was perfect for the family’s that stay over the week. The location is very private with minimal traffic and the beach is literally a 2-3 minute walk to a private entrance and very good beach services that includes umbrellas and chairs for you. The beach was private and not crowded at all and your surrounded by mostly families. The home has a huge bunk room for 6 and each bunk has a TV. Was perfect for the teen age boys. The elevator is a big plus for getting luggage and groceries to the second and 3rd floors or anyone not wanting or able to use the stairs. The living area and Kitchen were big and great place to hang out and had all the utensils needed. The 3rd Floor has the 3 full bedrooms with full bathrooms and each level has a great view to the very nice lake in the back. The pool was perfect and the gas grill and tv on the patio by the pool were just as nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and feel safe but still be around the corner to everything you will need for your stay. I’ve stayed at many homes but this was was the best by far. You won’t regret.

There was plenty of room for our 4 teenage girls, a 5 year old, a 2 year old, our daughter and her husband, and my wife and I. Both the pool and outdoor grill were professionally cleaned while we were there, so that was a bonus! The beach was a short walk, and not very crowded, even in peak June season. Most of the previous reviews were pretty accurate and the house almost lived up to our expectations, however...The down side: a June 10th 2025 review (we arrived on June 21st) mentioned issues with the oven, and we had a similar plight. It took hours to reach 350 degrees, and our food never actually cooked. The worst part was the smell of gas the last time we used it, which, of course, made us stop trying. MVH sent out a maintenance rep the next day, but the repair was beyond their ability, so last I heard when we were checking out was that they had a contractor coming to fix it. Also, there are many beds in the house, but I tried out 3 of the 5 non-bunk beds, and had to eventually sleep on the couch as they were WAY too old and soft and need to be replaced (in my opinion).And finally, the outdoor area needed some TLC with paint and touch up, but that didn't detract too much from our daily pool experience.Overall, it was a great place to stay, and MVH did the best they could to take care of our needs.

Dream Vacation Home

I searched the web for months looking for the perfect place to gather the family for my Mom's 70th birthday. First let me just say the house itself is a perfect 10/10. (perfect layout, full size pool, kitchen fully stocked, not to mention rooftop views). The elevator is a wonderful bonus when bringing in your personal belongings to the third floor. Also, the location is another bonus the private beach is behind the house and shops and restaurants across the street in walking distance. If you are on the fence just do it, I promise this house does not disappoint. However, with the good you have to prepare for the bad. Communication with the host was lacking I text a couple times and even called ahead to make sure they did not forget to heat the pool as we went in mid-March. Our stay was only four days, and the pool was only heated for the last two days. The biggest disappointment was it was not heated on the day of my Mom's birthday so we had to take our little party elsewhere. They said they would let me know about reimbursement so in that regard they did apologize. Another disappointment was the house floor was extremely dirty if you did not keep your shoes or your socks on your feet would be covered with black dirt. The grill was also dirty therefore we chose not to use it. My only complaint is the fees for cleaning and pool heating I feel it was money wasted. The owner of this house has a gem there just need to be some change in maybe property management, but definitely a dream vacation house.

Thank you for the review, Lanesha. As for the cleaning, you should have contacted our office and we would have had someone go back out to reclean the floors for you. We apologize if the pool was not heated to a comfortable temperature for you. Even though these pools can provide heat, they only heat the water to a certain temperature and this may not be as warm as some prefer when the conditions outside are colder. We do hope, despite the inconvenience, that you enjoyed your time on the beach. We also hope your Mom had a wonderful birthday!

Our stay at Destinations was good. The property had ample room for our group (9) but not sure how the common areas would for a larger group (12-20). The outdoor pool and grill area were great for us - again not for a larger group (20). We loved the ice machine!!I have several things that the management and/owners could improve on:1. When the property hasn't been rented for several weeks - do a mild cleaning. We had cobwebs and spiders everywher upon our arrival. We experienced gnats on the second floor outside dining area and were unable to enjoy that space during our stay. We also had wasps. We reached out to the management team and they sent maintenance man with "Home Defense" to spray. We were expecting a true exterminator. While it helped - it wasn't enough.2. Would suggest that a vacuum be added to the property. There were two brooms available - but those renters with poor backs would appreciate a vacuum - even a broom/ small vacuum would have been appreciated.3. The guest rooms upstairs would benefit from darker window coverings. When the sun rises at 5:30 am - guest arent usually looking to get up then....4. Guest would also benefit with more storage in the kitchen aea. We had to work hard to find sufficient space for all of our groceries. Not sure how you would handle this.5. Guest would also benefit from an additional refrigerator in the garage/downstairs area. It would help to not have to bring drinks up and down the stairs daily for the beach!

We were not satisfied

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We invested a lot to stay at this premium location. It wa beautiful, for sure, but a few key elements really tainted our impression. The inside was clean when we arrived, but the outside tables, chairs and BBQ area were dirty, grimy, and in places, swarming with bugs and webs. Not a great taste. We had to call for cleaners to come and disinfect and clean the spaces. They came quickly, but this should have been done when we arrived. Second, the toilets in two of our bedrooms did not flush. This creates an awful experience for our guests. You can have the nicest house in the world, but if you don’t have flushing toilets, there is nothing that can make it ok. LStly, there was no WIFI. We repeatedly asked for this to be fixed. We were international business guests, and we needed WIFI. Almost as much as we needed flushing toilets.We’re not trying to be mean or difficult. The owners tried to fix our issues. But in a short 3 night stay, there isn’t time to take a few days to address things like this. Before long, we’re gone. I think it would be fair for us to get some rebate. I have kindly asked for that, but we have had no offer for compensation. Now I’m going to take this up with Airbnb. I know that Airbnb will ensure we are taken care of.

Beautiful home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were upgraded to this home after our first home The Sea Esta was not cleaned upon arrival and tge third floor AC was not working. This home was however perfect. Spotless and beautiful. The pool and lake were amazing. Only one block from ocean. The elevator was an added perk considering we had someone there that uses a walker.

Amazing home!

The house was wonderful and had plenty of space for 14 of us. The pool was so nice to have and the walk to the beach was very short. We would love to stay here again!
