Zion Virgin Hideaway, Stairway to Zion

Beautiful Home nestled in the Quiet town of Virgin. Hand built by the owner with personal touches everywhere. Enjoy stargazing with no light pollution, or sitting on the porch in the morning hearing only birds chirping. The home itself has anything you would need for an unforgettable stay. Open floor plan with upscale Kitchen, Big Screen TV, Music Area, WiFi, Laundry, 2 Bedrooms/2 Bathrooms, one with an antique claw foot tub and the other with a 9 ft custom travertine tiled shower with an additional rain shower head. Perfect for couples or small families. This home is a two story cabin, with a walk out lower level. Both levels have private entrances and are completely separate from each other. Each level has a full home setup. The owner lives in the upper level and is available for questions and recommendations at your convenience. The front yard and lower porch are dedicated to the guests' enjoyment. The backyard, which is not visible from the guests quarters, is dedicated to the owner's use.

Found a great place near Zion. You do share space with owners about lower floor but very friendly and mininal noise. Plenty of room for 4 people. Left stuff for breakfast for us and checked in with us to make sure things were going well. Would definitely stay again!

Clean comfortable place

We enjoyed this very clean comfortable place. Hosts were very nice. They had many extra items available for us to use. They also provided us a few breakfast items including some wonderful banana bread!

Perfect cozy stay

Loved staying here to visit Zion and Bryce. Bathtub was perfection after hiking! Plants were beautiful and beds were comfy! The hosts were so nice and welcoming/ left us bread eggs and chocolate chip cookies toWelcome us!

Weekend Getaway

Absolutely perfect. Very clean, well appointed, and great location. Spent three days taking day hikes in Zion NP. Close to the Park's south entrance, but away from the crowds. Great for a base "camp" to explore the surrounding areas too.

Perfect location for Zion!

We loved our stay here and felt the location was perfect! Visiting not just the main Zion entrance in Springdale, but also going to the West Zion entrance, Bryce Canyon and Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon were close enough for day trips. The house in Virgin was so quiet it was perfect for relaxing after hiking all day. Shane also gave us some great recommendations for hikes and scenic drives in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Zion Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at Zion Virgin Hideaway - a perfect retreat after fun-filled days at Zion. The indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and well-designed and stocked with the supplies needed to be a home away from home. Clean and well-organized with personal touches from the owners!

One of the best places we've stayed at!

The owners obviously take a lot of pride in this guest home and it shows! The place is clean and comfortable with a lot of extra details. We stayed at the hottest time of the year, yet the place was nice and cool. Communication was perfect! This place does not disappoint!

Wonderful! A great stay!

One of there nicest VRBO stays we have ever had— and probably the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed anywhere. Great, friendly hosts and a lovely, well-equipped, plant-filled home with eclectic furnishings in a sweet, little town. Don’t hesitate.

Wonderful time

This was one of our favorite Vrbo places in our stay at Utah! We were a short drive to Zion. Shane and Alicia were awesome hosts. The treats they provided were much appreciated and delicious. We highly recommend staying at their place!

Zion get-a-way

This unit is very spacious and clean and located in a very quiet area. The stars in the night sky were amazing. The baked treats provided by the hosts were delicious. The beds are very comfortable. It was a short drive to Zion Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Babymoon in UT

My wife and I stayed at Shane and Alicia’s beautiful home and enjoyed every minute. Check in was super easy and the home was stunning and spotless. It was the perfect location just outside of the hustle and bustle near Zion. They were super accommodating and hospitable. Would absolutely recommend their home for your trip to UT!

Wonderful stay for our trip to Zion National Park

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very welcoming and comfortable, made more so by the nice local baked goodies and fresh eggs that the hosts had placed there for us upon arrival. The place appears to be all new or recently renovated, with lots of attention to detail in the workmanship and furnishings. The hosts were very responsive and polite, including giving us some tips on getting the most out of our visit to Zion NP. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and relatives planning to visit the area!

Hard to leave, guess we’ll have to come back!

Zion Perfection!

We loved this property and we loved the hosts! They thought of everything. It was beautiful, spotless and the location was great! Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Anything you would need. I recommendation this property! I have stayed in many wonderful VRBO properties and this by far is my favorite.

Almost like home

Comfortable home with outstanding hosts who welcomed us with provisions and Mother’s Day Flowers. Close enough to Zion so commute to park, dinner and groceries wasn’t an issue. The kitchen and laundry is well stocked and organized. The home has two well appointed bathrooms but only one had a shower.

Family Vacation

The house was awesome. Very nice and clean. The owners went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Books about he area were very helpful and the house was equipped with everything you need. My kids favorite part was relaxing at night after hiking and listening to the record player. Neither one had ever seen one so it was a big hit. I would recommend staying here to anyone

Super nice place & hosts

This is a very nice place, comfortable, well-equipped, super nice hosts. There are many many details we liked. They found a perfect way of letting us feel they are available if we need them but at the same time we never felt they are on the same property. Quiet and efficient air-conditionig. We explored the different parts of Zion National Park and the location was very good for that! Will definitely recommend to our friends and hopefully we will come again too despite the long travels from Germany! Thank you Shane and Alicia!

Amazing stay in Virgin near Zion NP

We loved our stay in Virgin in Shane and Alicia’s lovely house. We were on the bottom floor of a 2 story house. It was very spacious and well set out with everything we needed. Lovely bedrooms and we slept so comfortably. Shower was big and amazing too! The kitchen had everything we needed too. Alicia and Shane graciously left us banana bread and eggs, butter and bread to make breakfast when we arrived. It was quiet and we used their BBQ most nights to prepare our food. The house is easy to locate and is a 20 minute drive to Zion National Park. We drove into the park numerous times also drove to Antelope Canyon from there. It’s perfectly located. Alicia and Shane were available if we needed anything. I would recommend their place if you are looking to be roaming around Zion National Park and other attractions in South Utah or Arizona!

Awesome location

This home was very welcoming, the owners provided some fresh fruits and other goodies in the refrigerator which made us feel special. The location is excellent. Zion is right there and it was easy to come and go every day. We were meeting relatives who are staying at an RV park right around the corner and the owners were very open to letting us have them at the house during the day. Our only dilemma was, there wasn’t a chair that I could actually use. I have a bad back, and I am disabled and there just wasn’t any comfortable seating for everybody. I would definitely recommend this home though to anyone visiting the area.

Clean, cute little lodge

Clean, homey, and charming! My family and I checked in to an immaculately clean property with 2 beds and 2 baths. Alicia and Shane went above to ensure our stay felt homey by giving us some homemade cookies and bread. The neighborhood felt safe, and there was even a friendly neighborhood cat that came to visit us once in a while, right outside the property. There is a good amount of privacy; the owners live upstairs and have a separate driveway and entrance, so we only saw them a couple of times if we ran into them outside. They were friendly! However, we did hear footsteps at night sometimes. If you’re a light sleeper, this might bother you. Thankfully, we brought earplugs. In terms of amenities, we had everything we needed, including wifi, detergent, coffee, eggs, pots and pans, and more!

We are long time residents of the small town of Virgin, just outside of Zion National Park, Utah. Living in this area for over 25 years has enabled us to explore and experience all that beautiful and untouched Southern Utah has to offer. In our winter months, low season for this area, we tend to travel to tropical islands and continue our quest to enjoy life to the fullest as a family.
