You'll enjoy an elegant interior, new furnishings, great outdoor amenities like swimming pools, golf, tennis, and the peace and quiet of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains.

Inside, you'll find beautiful hardwood floors, wood beamed ceilings, and gorgeous design accents. In the formal living room you can sit back on the comfortable sectional sofa, and watch a DVD or satellite on the TV.

In the chef-inspired kitchen, there's everything you could possibly want - a stainless steel refrigerator, gas range, oven, ample counter space, champagne and martini glasses, a rice cooker, lots of platters, roasting pans - even a waffle maker for lively weekend brunches. This bright space gets a lot of natural light from the windows by the sink.

In addition to the living room, right off the dining room, is a large family room with a foosball table, gas fireplace, a TV, DVD player, and spots for everyone to sit back and relax. Let the kids watch a movie here while the adult have their own movie and martini night in the living room in front of the fire. Grab a book from the shelf and curl up on the window seat with a mug of tea for an afternoon of quiet reading. You'll also find board games, movie libraries, and video games here to provide even more entertainment options.

On sunny days, take to the outdoor deck and enjoy the pine tree-lined scenery! There's a gas grill for summer barbecues and patio furniture so that everyone has a spot. On chilly nights, turn on the heat lamp and do some star gazing, maybe with a champagne toast. It's also the ideal place for a morning cup of coffee while you enjoy the sun, cool mountain breeze, and morning birdsongs.

After a day of skiing, hiking, or biking, you'll have a good night's sleep in three luxurious upstairs bedrooms. The primary suite boasts cherry wood furniture, a TV and DVD player, and an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, vanity with double sinks, and a walk-in shower. A second bedroom features a rustically elegant pine bed frame with a queen bed, and in the third bedroom, there are two sets of twin bunk beds - let the kids have a slumber party every night. A washer/dryer is available - so you're covered for longer stays as well.

And while this amazing Lake Tahoe vacation rental will definitely provide lots of great memories, you'll have so much to do here in the popular Lake Tahoe region! Nestled in the base village of Tahoe Donner Ski Areas, you're a 10-minute walk, or a two-minute drive to the ticket office and lift area, creating a hassle-free experience.

This mountain community is 30 minutes away from five more ski areas - Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Alpine Meadows, Boreal, and Squaw Valley, offering ample pickings for skiers/riders hungry for variety. Closer to home, Tahoe Donner amenities (with a discounted fee) include swimming pools, shared hot tubs, golf, tennis, bocci ball, a private beach at Donner Lake, and a ski area with tubing hill.

STR cards are welcome at the private amenities approximately 332 days of the year. To prioritize member access during the holidays, STR Tenant restrictions are being implemented on the following dates:

May 23-25 (Memorial Day)
July 1-5 (July 4th)
Sept 5-7 (Labor Day)
Nov 26-29 (Thanksgiving Day)

Tahoe Donner offers amazing recreational amenities for every season of the year: three pools (one is year-round outdoor heated lap pool) tennis center, tennis pro shop, golf course, driving range, golf pro shop, fitness center, winter snow play area, ski area, equestrian center cross-country ski center, close to Coyote Moon golf course. The members-only beach club and boat launch on Donner Lake features a beach, boat launch, rentals: boat, kayak, paddleboard, etc., cafe, facilities, parking. All the standard Tahoe Donner amenities are available for a nominal daily fee. Non-standard amenities cost more: equestrian, golf, ski, and fitness classes.

This historic town of Truckee boasts shops, galleries, and restaurants - foodies will be sure to find a hidden gem for a memorable meal out. In the summer, make the short drive to Kings Beach to play on the sand, take a lake cruise, or just enjoy the sights of crystal blue Lake Tahoe. And just a few miles east, across the Nevada state line, you'll find casinos like Crystal Bay for more entertainment options.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: There is a private dock at the Tahoe Donner Marina. Please bring your guest access cards. A $15 fee applies. Public docks are located along Donner Lake on Donner Pass Road.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
