Beautiful beach access convenience. Free beach service included, Mar-Oct, included with this unit, 2 chairs and an umbrella ($35 a day value). Private patio. View the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets on the emerald shores of the Gulf of America. FIRST FLOOR with easy access to parking lot -- no struggling up stairs with luggage!! As a first floor unit, we have a private barbecue grill. The fully glassed back living area opens directly onto the patio which is just a few yards from Island Sands PRIVATE boardwalk that provides direct access to the sugar sand beach. Well maintained and beautifully decorated. Island Sands Condominiums sits on one of the most stunning beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Okaloosa Island prohibits condos greater than 6 floors so you can enjoy the less crowed beaches. Small complex of only 27 units. Assigned parking space with additional overflow spaces available. You are only a few miles from The Boardwalk, Okaloosa Island fishing pier, Conference Center, Gulfarium, some of the best restaurants in all of Florida, and only 7 miles from Destin. YOU NEED NOTHING BUT YOUR SUNTAN LOTION! The full-size kitchen has a large social bar perfect for casual dining and entertaining. The unit is complete with blender, Keurig coffee maker (we furnish the first 8 cups with powdered creamer and sugar), crockpot, electric can opener, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, enclosed washer & dryer, and many other items to make your stay convenient. Stylish bedroom with all linens, beach towels, hair-dryer, and many other items. We also provide Upgraded High Speed Internet and cables channels including several movie channels and most sports networks! Two Cable TV’s and Blu-ray player. There is a beautiful, well maintained and fenced pool just a few steps from front door. Location: Island Sands, Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, Main Panhandle, Florida, USA (Secluded Beach on Okaloosa Island, 5 Miles West of Destin)

Great place!

Our first trip to the Fort Walton area was fantastic with this condo as our home base. The beach was amazing. Cabana service was a pleasant surprise. The accommodations were perfect! Kitchen was supplied with everything. The BBQ grill was a plus for doing steaks one night. The building is older but the condo didn’t show it. Location was great. The only beef or suggestion we would bring up is that the pool is not heated. We would recommend Sean and this location and would love to come back.

Great Getaway

Island Sands 101 was perfect setup for two. If you need it, Sean and Diane have it there. Nice ground floor unit just.....I mean JUST.....steps to beach! Umbrella and chairs on beach included. Nice little pool to meet the neighbors. Easy drive to food and drink. Great condo. Great hosts. Steve Blue - May 2021

Excellent property

Although you cannot see the ocean from the patio, you can still hear it and knowing it's on the other side of the dune, is good enough for me! Excellent access to the beach. Loved being on the ground floor and on the end. Easy in, easy out. Also very much appreciated having a designated parking spot for the condo! The other renters were super friendly and I loved that it was a smaller resort. Beach service was awesome! Nothing to lug down to the beach but ourselves and a bag! Loved this property and would definitely stay here again. No issues with property and the owner was beyond accommodating . Very good communication with him. Flawless vacation!

Great spot for a getaway

Lovely property to spend a week. The first level location is great for access. You will not have a beach view because the dune blocks the view but it is a short walk to the beach. The included chairs and umbrella are great. Lots of restaurants close by, our favorite was Old Bay Steamer. Great communication from the owner.

Absolutely great

Definitely would recommend this place! Check in was smooth, the place was clean and spacious, and we had zero issues while there. The beach service was super convenient and having a first floor condo made getting to the beach quick. Great vacation.

Great Time!!

We had a great time was a nice place clean and everything you need was there to use, it was close to everything just a short drive to anything you wanted or needed!! Would stay here again!

Exactly what we expected

Super quiet place, loved being end unit. Beach wasn't over crowded as they often are. The unit was very clean and nice and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Perfect for a beach getaway!

We choose to stay in Fort Walton when my hubby and I go to the beach each June for our anniversary (leaving the teenagers at home!). It was perfect location (bottom floor) as to make dumping our sandy shoes, beach bag, and cooler on back patio only steps away from the pier that takes you to the beach! It’s not a large high rise building, so our assigned parking space was again, only a few steps away from the condo door, which makes loading and unloading seamless! Anything you may have forgotten for the beach is provided, so anyone would be lucky to have a chance to be hosted by such attentive and accessible owners! Thank you!

Great Stay

Had a great time place was concurrent and on bottom, great access to beach. Felt very homey and had all things needed. Owners very nice and attentive to needs.

Couldn’t have asked for more

They are So many things about this place I appreciated. It was clean and well stocked with amenities that were in well condition. I’ve stayed at other places where I wouldn’t give my dog the kitchen utensils to chew on. All pots and pans and utensils were in great condition along with towels and bathroom amenities. This place was clean and adequately stocked with everything you need. Having ground floor access which walks right out on the beach was so convenient as well as the keyless entry. We will definitely try to get this place again. Another big bonus was the quaint location away from the heavy traffic for it gave us a great place to walk, run and ride our bike in the mornings.

It’s a great condo! The first floor is super convenient and we like not dealing with Destin traffic; however Destin is an easy 8 minute drive if we chose to go there.
