Relax at this quiet, waterfront 1-bed/1-bath home featuring a full kitchen, comfortable living area, private screened-in porch, and in-unit laundry. Enjoy peaceful canal views right from your porch—perfect for morning coffee or evening unwind time. There’s plenty of parking available for cars and trailers, and you can cook up your fresh catch on the charcoal grill.

Bring your kayak, paddleboard, or small boat! The property offers easy water access, though please note the shallow water and low bridge (~6 ft clearance) limit access for large boats or vessels with tall tops, towers, or windshields. Flats boats, jon boats, surface drives, jet skis, and canoes are ideal. A small on-site boat ramp makes launching simple.

You’ll also love the location—just 200 ft from The Freezer and close to The Shed, Monkey Bar, and other popular local spots. Perfect for a relaxing waterfront stay with convenience at your doorstep.

3rd time at this duplex and can't wait to go again! We love it! Caught brim, mangrove and catfish in the canal. Quiet neighborhood and comfy place! 100% recommend!

Property was perfect for the proximity to event at nearby marina. So close to the best seafood at the Freezer, grocery store convenience and waterway. I definitely will be staying there again for another beautiful visit to Homosassa.

Nice 1BR/ 1ba cabin on the creek. So close to restaurants, bars, music,fishing. Screened in porch out back. Wifi and Smart LG tv. Nice quiet vacation to relax and have fun. Love the hosts too!

Up the Creek

Our stay was awesome when we arrived the manager was the but they cleaned the place so he gave us the one he cleaned which was a up grade but they are both nice places clean peaceful all around awesome highly recommend. I am a former resident of the area and never knew such a great place existed i felt like a tourist it was great.

2nd time stay at The Creek

Second time stay in the books and looking forward to the next stay. Convenient to all our faves suchas The Freezer, The Shed, The Monkey Bar and Two Pops. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of nature to watch. Thanks again for a great stay!

A duplex with a View!

husband purchased a fishing rod, although he was unsuccessful in catching fish due to the small hook size. He did, however, encounter a small alligator that showed an interest in the red and white bobber. We spent considerable time outdoors that week, and the alligator made repeat appearances.It was a very relaxing vacation and would stay there again when in the area.For some reason it would not let me post photos.

Quiet getaway, close to everything

This is a great little place that is close to everything. Very quiet but walking distance to basically everywhere. Sam the host was amazing and went over and above to make sure I had the best possible stay. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great Stay!

So close to everything in town! The creek out back was so peaceful and the home itself was so clean! Perfect spot for a couples getaway! Also, the property manager was so easy to get ahold of. 10/10. Will be back!

Nice Long Weekend

We stayed Thursday through Sunday. The house was quiet, clean and within walking or a very short driving distance to the places we love to go. The only concern we had was the booking process sent us the wrong property information, which in turn led to wrong codes to get in and Wi-Fi codes. But, these were easily sorted out within a few minutes of contacting the property manager. Understandably, it was a technical glitch. Just double check your correspondence after booking for now! Thank you for a nice place to stay!

Great spot on the canal

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was great and everything worked really well. Location was very nice just a block from the freezer restaurant and McRaes Shed was very close. Very quiet. It was a little too chilly for us to kayak but it would have been very convenient if the weather had been better. We would consider coming back if the occasion happens.

Perfect getaway

Perfect little place for two! Very clean and comfortable. The a/c felt amazing after each long day in the heat! There is plenty of room to park a boat trailer, with some experience maneuvering as there's not a lot of room to turn around a larger trailer. We brought our 20'center console with Tower and launched it each morning (can't get to the house in the water with our boat as it's too tall to fit under the bridge). Will definitely be back. This is a great place!

Scalloping home base

We were in Homosassa for scalloping and this property was perfect. It is a great location to walk or haul trailer/boat to marina. We had plenty of room to park our car and trailer. The creek in front of house is beautiful and provided a great setting for sitting either on the sofa inside or screened porch. Bed and bathroom were comfortable. We will book this property again.
