Amazing oceanfront apartment on the 5th floor of Foster Tower Residences, overlooking Kuhio Beach and the landmark Duke Kahanamoku statue in Waikiki. This beautiful condominium has been completely renovated with all new updates in 2021. 2 full bedrooms plus 'bonus' room converted to accommodate additional guests, 2 full baths with washer and dryer makes this floor plan comfortable for up to 6 guests. The rental includes 1 assigned parking stall and the property is equipped with cable TV, High Speed Internet, and air conditioning throughout. A secured entry with 24-hour guard service provides safety and privacy. Guests may also enjoy the amenity facilities that include a sun deck, swimming pool and fitness room. Steps away are the white sands of Waikiki beach with a variety of water sports available including swimming, snorkeling, paddling and surfing. Enjoy strolling down Kalakaua Avenue where world-class shopping and restaurants abound. Diamond Head Crater, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Natatorium, Ala Wai Golf Course and the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center are all within a few blocks from the property. Historic St. Augustine Church is located next door. Approximately 3 miles east is the famed Kahala Hotel and 3 miles west are the shops and entertainment of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Highly Recommend, Clean Beautiful View, Great Location!

The property is beautifully decorated and clean. The view is spectacular. The location is perfect and walking distance to restaurants. Right across from the beach. When we arrived the manager had put out a beautiful spread of snacks and water. It was so much fun to try all the snacks. We had an issue with one of the A/C units and Gena had it replaced within a day. Exceptional service!!

Still Loving It

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were surprised to find the unit a bit less than clean which was not normal. Most of the batteries in devices in the unit had leaked and needed replacing. Covid took it's toll on just about everything, but, we were able to rent the property because of the Covid restrictions in place in Hawaii and didn't have to cancel AGAIN. Kuhio Surf and Foster tower are in a prime spot with convenient access to everything, with parking and 24hr security. Each time Gena was contacted it was taken care of despite medical problems in the family. We really didn't want to come home! Whales were observed from the condo at a distance.

Best location and great management but cooling problems

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was amazing, and the condo itself was very clean and has everything you would need. The communication with the property manager before and during our stay was great as well. Our stay was for the entire month of July. The unit is facing the ocean which is the selling point of this unit, however the windows are not efficient to say the least and the A/C set up was not sufficient. For the living room/dining room/kitchen area there is one portable A/C unit, which they were kind of enough to upgrade to a higher BTU unit during our stay, however it wasn't sufficient at all (never below 78 during the day) so if you want the place to cool down, you need to keep the shades down during the day, which defeats the purpose of the view. And the constant loud noise from the unit does not feel like a vacation unfortunately.As for the bedrooms, one bedroom that is the most separate/private than the others has an older wall A/C unit which sounds like an airplane taking off every few minutes. Again that room is facing the ocean so our shades had to be down most of the day to keep it cooler. There is one bedroom facing the side (also has a view) that one is the best room in terms of temperature, with a newer wall A/C unit, however again, the same noise issue remains. The worst room is the one in the middle, which has no A/C, only a ceiling fan and even though they gave us some extra fans, that room was a sauna by the morning each day. The shower temperature, especially in the unit with an ensuite bathroom, basically goes from cold to hot. I could live with the shower but I really hope they figure out a solution for proper cooling without the crazy noise. They mentioned something about installing a mini-split possibly, if they do that, this condo is absolutely unbeatable. You won't find a location better and the unit has everything you need including beach chairs, umbrella, etc. Once they sort out the cooling problem, w

Great stay at Foster Tower

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've rented this unit at Foster Tower, and we had another wonderful stay. Barbea makes booking a breeze and Gena makes the stay comfortable, stocking the condo with EVERYTHING you need for day-to-day living plus delicious goodies that are always so appreciated! She's also great at handling any minor maintenance issues that might crop up. Thanks, Gena! This location just can't be beat. We walk every day to nearby restaurants, and we take casual walks to the Gold Coast, the zoo and shopping lots of days. We are always sad to leave our "home away from home," but this time was the hardest yet. The condo just works perfectly for my husband and me. There really is no need for a car here as you can walk to absolutely everything. We usually do rent one because we like to drive the island and we like to hike some of Oahu's trails. Manoa Falls was really nice this time, and Makapu'u Point is always a stunning hike. We never tire of the sunsets from our window, or better yet you can walk just across the street and sit on Kuhio Beach in the unit's Tommy Bahama beach chairs and watch while the gentle breeze blows. It's truly paradise, and this condo sits right in the heart of it. Highly recommend it!

When we weren't walking all over Waikiki or playing in the water, we loved watching all the activities from our condo. Mornings are so peaceful, and you can enjoy seeing the beach and the morning paddle board yogis as you have your coffee while sitting at the dining room table. The condo is perfectly located for in-room viewing of surfers, beautiful sunsets and water crafts, but it is just as perfectly located as a base for walking to all the shopping and dining that Waikiki has to offer. We walked to the Gold Coast area most days (toward Diamond Head and adjacent to Kapiolani Park), then we walked the opposite direction for great dinners in Waikiki. The condo worked perfectly for us. It was super clean and incredibly well-stocked with everything from delicious snacks and kitchen equipment to beach towels and chairs. We had a small issue (our fault), and the manager took care of it right away. All around wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything about this property was perfect. The location and views of Waikiki Beach from multiple rooms in apartment were stunning. The apartment was modern, clean and extremely comfortable. The amenities in the apartment were plentiful and very much appreciated. We found it so convenient to have the use of the apartments beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs & umbrellas etc. We loved this apartment and hope to stay again one day.

Perfect location, great appliances, washer & dryer in unit. security and very friendly staff.

The condo provides that home feeling away from home, everyone loved the kitchen, the location, and the staff. I wish we had used condos in the past but our jobs kept us from doing so, This year we rented the condo, told the kids we would pay their airfare and come if you can, they all did and it was our first family vacation. The only down side is that they all want to move to Hawaii! We will be looking again next fall and winter.
