39th Street Beach House steps to sand, air-conditioning, beach gear and bikes!

This beautiful upstairs unit is situated on the beach side of Balboa on 39th Street. The property is a 30 second walk to the beach (7 doors from the sand) and a 5 minute walk to amazing restaurants, shopping and the Newport Pier. The location can't be beat!

The unit has 4 bedrooms all with king beds and 3 bathrooms. Is is very comfortable and very well kept. Each bedroom has a king bed, ample closet space, TV's in every room, ceiling and floor fans.

The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics to make your family a great meal after a long day at the beach. We also provide some of the pantry basics (cooking oil, salt & pepper, starter amount of coffee pods, coffee filters, etc...)

The balcony has a view of the ocean from one side, and a large picnic table with room for six people. The living room has an electric fireplace that is easy to work with just a flip of a switch. The house has great WIFI. There is a washer and dryer in garage free for you to use. The garage is oversized so it easier to park in than most garages in Newport Beach which are typically very small. We provide most of the beach gear you might need including surf boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, wagon, pop up tent, wetsuits and beach cruisers/bikes. This unit has Air Conditioning and floor and ceiling fans are also provided.

Please note this is an upstairs unit and noise does transfer through the floors. If you have a large or noisy group please do not rent an upstairs apartment.

Guest who books the house must be at least 28 years old and must be staying at the house (no booking for under age kids).

You can also rent the downstairs unit (listing number 2244464) or both together (listing number 2258451). There are no internal doors between the two units. They are totally separate units with doors on opposite ends of the building.

Large, clean, comfortable place for our large family and just a few homes from the beach. Loved having king beds in every room, garage parking, bikes, beach gear, use of washer/dryer, etc. Great home for a family reunion and beach time!

Great location and friendly host

Great location. Garage parking is key there. Walking to beach and pier and other areas is easy. Upstairs has small out doorspace but not really necessary. All in all a nice stay.

Great accommodations!

We enjoyed our stay at this Newport Beach VRBO! Within a very short walking distance to a great part of Newport Beach, loads of bikes, boogie boards and wet suits to use at the beach and comfortable and clean lodging. As with most Newport VRBOs, garage is tricky to get into and out of, particularly when the neighbor cars are blocking pathways, so be sure to get a smaller car or mini-van.

Beautiful home

This was an amazing home perfect location beach within walking distance. The house was very clean and put together. The owner Lisa was amazing very easy to get a hold of. Me and my family had an amazing time. We will definitely be back!

A Little Slice of Beach Heaven

The property is decorated with incredible attention to detail and is extremely clean. The beds are super comfortable and you have wet suits, surfboards and plenty of bikes to play on the beach. Perfect location. Lisa is great and responded immediately to any added requests. Highly recommend this property. We loved our stay. 5 STAR Experience.

The garage was nice, large and spacious and could hold our yukon and pretty big very difficult to get into with a larger vehicle. The neighbor behind parks their car behind their house so getting in is hard. Also the parking on the street was horrendous no one moved their cars. The neighbor parks their three cars on the street and never moves them. When we found a spot we couldn't leave it because there was no place to park. This street seemed to have a lot of people that lived there all of the time. If you are planning on taking your car anywhere be prepared to walk a long ways to find parking. We normally leave and go visit places and could usually find a spot and we have stayed at many places in newport.

Thank you for your review. I'm disappointed to only now be hearing about your issues with getting into the garage due to our neighbor parking behind their garage. I definitely could have helped you with that as it is not actually legal for them to park there. We do have an extra large garage for Newport standards and like you said can hold a Yukon along with another car which is important during spring break because like most beaches we do get a lot of people coming to visit and parking on the street gets difficult. Amazing beach house

The location was amazing. The house was very clean! The amount of bedrooms was perfect! All king beds in every room making it super comfy and no one fighting for a certain room. The bikes were an added bonus! The area was also quite for being in the middle of all the action. We had so much fun and definitely be staying there again!! The host was so nice and very thorough!

Great stay!

Mother/daughter weekend, easily fit all of us. Great location. All amenities well stocked. Parking not easy if you have large SUV but it’s doable and that is par for the course in Newport Beach.

It was an amazing family get together Everything we needed we had the house was perfect. Very beautiful bikes, washer, and dryer close to restaurants, literally steps away from the beach. We will return and rent again.

Super clean house in a great location

This house is in a great location. Just a block from the ocean and just far enough away from the busier boardwalk area. The bikes were awesome and we took a couple rides to the piers. Plenty of options for dinners a walk away. The house is super clean and stocked well for all cooking needs. Four bedrooms with King beds was great for our group. Lisa was great at returning emails and texts with access and property instructions. Will stay again when in Newport Beach!

Perfect Beach Vacation

If you are looking for the idyllic beach vacation with your family, this is the place to be! This property is a stone's throw away from the sand. For those of you traveling with the family, the garage spot is quite generous for Newport Beach. We parked medium/ full size SUV with no issue. Comfy beds and linens and ample beach towels were available for use. Indoor dining seating was a bit limited for our larger group, so we enjoyed our meals on the picnic table on the outdoor balcony. We would rate this unit 10/10. The location of this property is perfect. It is very close to the beach, boardwalk, food and shopping. The unit was immaculate and was as the pictures represented. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bath and beach towels for all 8 of us. The communication from the owner was clear and concise and she responded very quickly to any questions we had. Having bikes, beach chairs and beach umbrellas come with this rental is a game changer. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room to move around

Beds were comfortable couches were comfortable too, the only thing I would change would be to put the towels in each of the bathrooms. Other than that It is a great place to stay.

Great location and very clean!

We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday with a few friends here in January. It was amazing!! The location and the amenities were wonderful. The beds are super comfortable! 39th Street is a great street! It is close enough to the pier and boardwalk to walk or ride a bike. The house is amazing! It was renovated prior to our purchase and is contemporary, clean and up to date. It also has ample parking, two spots per unit which is double what most vacation rentals in the area provide.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Not only is 39th Street a great location but the house is just steps to the sand. We are 7 houses from the sand so back and forths to the house are super easy. We also provide all of the beach equipment you will need for a great day at the beach (boogie boards, surf boards, sand toys, chairs, etc...)
