BRAND NEW RENOVATED HOUSE WITH 3 additional NEW BEDROOMS & TWO NEW BATHROOMS. Casa Redonda is new and improved. The house was recently stripped down and completely renovated. It now has 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 1 half bath, beautiful new kitchen and large island. Casa Redonda is very secure property with 3 private parking spots and is fully gated. The backyard is lush and private with a beautiful pool. The house is located 250 yards from the beach and 3 minutes from downtown.

Great for groups and amazing location!

Casa Redonda was the best for our group trip! The location was absolutely the best as well. They were so responsive if we had any questions. We really enjoyed the pool and outside seating area. Hope to come back for another trip!

Perfection! Privacy in the middle of town!

We LOVED our stay at Casa Redonda. The location was perfect and in the middle of everything, but the house was private, safe, and beautiful! The hosts were also very helpful with all of our needs, including airport transportation and booking excursions. We'll be back!!

Amazing location!

The Casa Redonda exceeded our expectations! Even better in person then the pictures. Great location for walking around shops and restaurants and the beach! Very clean. The owners were very responsive and helpful when needed. The pool was clean and overall a very beautiful place. Loved our stay.

Family Vacation

What an amazing place! Casa Redonda is perfectly located smack in the middle of Tamarindo. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Our family of 13 was very comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend Casa Redonda to any larger group. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return!

Great location!

Stayed here with 10 other dudes for a bachelor party. Property was even better than it showed in the pictures! Perfect location right near a “super market”, bars/restaurants, and the beach. Owner was quick with responses, and the staff that came in the morning were practically like ghosts. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience with my family

My wife and I were celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary so we rent this listing for us and our family. We loved every part of the stay, it was amazing. The house is pretty confortable for big families with kids, leaving everyone with their own separate Room. We hope we can visit again soon. Thanks to Tracy, Chad and Leo.

Great for families with teens

The house was great for our two families with 5 teenagers. Location was great and communication with the manager of the property was easy. Our only complain would be that the property always had someone there working wether it was the landscape people, house cleaner, or just random people washing their bikes in the driveway or grinding on doors in the driveway. That was weird to us, and we didn’t love coming back after being out for the day to people there.

We LOVED the Casa

The house was in a perfect location. The beds and pillows were very comfy. The pool was amazing and much needed. The outdoor space blew us away. We felt safe and tucked away, even though we were in town. So close to the beach and groceries and restaurants. Everyone in Costa Rica was so lovely, including the property managers and the house iguana! We want to go back. 4 nights was not enough!

Perfect family fun

This house was perfect. The pictures don’t tell the full story of how great it is. The house is walking distance to everything you need/want: Grocery store, restaurants, beach, liquor store, shopping, pharmacy, etc. Ale was incredibly helpful and responsive before the trip and during with any questions we had. We did several super fun excursions which they were helpful with booking. Although you are in the middle of Tamarindo you feel as though you are in a secluded area when at the house or on the patio especially when the monkeys are making noise or birds chirping. It was the perfect house and location for our 2 families that included 6 teenagers. The house was clean and had everything we needed to fix some meals at home. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Casa Redonda

We were surprised that the beautiful house was tucked away behind a sliding gate on one of Tamarindo’s main strips. The location of this house is perfect if you want privacy but also the convenience of restaurants and convenient stores. The layout of the house is perfect with the pool in the center, we spent most of our time outside. The house iguana visited us one day and we saw and heard howler monkeys in the trees. We ended up renting a car, which was nice to be able to visit different places and convenient that the house has a secure parking place but a car was not needed but nice to have that option especially when it was raining. All in all our stay was seamless, from being picked up at the airport by iguana surf shop to our stay at the house. I highly recommend staying at Casa Redonda with a group of friends or family.

Perfect house and perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Redonda. The house was exactly as described, if not better! Everyone had their own room and plenty of space for the adults and teens. The loft area was a great space but we spent most of our time by the pool! This house is perfectly located! The beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and bars are all within walking distance. However, you could not hear any outside noises at night. We were never disturbed when we went to sleep with any loud noises coming from the bars or restaurants. We loved that we could walk to everything. It was so convenient and coming back to the house and relaxing by the pool was perfect. Everyone loved the howler monkeys that were active in the trees behind the house! What a treat! I will say that the property manager was excellent. She was in constant communication with me. We had a small problem with one of the AC units in one of the bedrooms and they were at the house that afternoon fixing it. She gave recommendations that were excellent and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We will definately be back!!

Perfect House for Large Group of Kids

Great location in the center of everything Tamarindo offers. Getting there was a bit vague and initial instructions were not the best. At over $2,000 a day we expected some reception from a property representative. House is older in need of maintenance. It’s 5 minute walk to beach and a dozen clubs. You’ll hear the thumping all night long until 4am. Supermarket is 20’ from front door, Deliveries start between 5-5:30am. Not an issue if your in your 20’s and want to party but for us older pub types in bed by 10, not the best location. Sleeping, yeah ha ha. We saw our house keeper 2x’s for a couple minutes over 8 days. My son and I cleaned the pool, skimmers and the deck areas, that was never attended to. The pool was ice cold and is shaded from the sun most of the day for you sun worshipers. Dishwasher smells like sewage, the clothes washer like mildew, fridge smelled of sour milk, internet is spotty. Overall impression, the house has a great location but there are items the owner could improve on for the quality of stay.

As part of our commitment to guest comfort, we recommend the self-check-in system to provide flexibility and avoid any unnecessary pressure. We regret that the New Year's weekend brought more noise and activity than you anticipated. Unfortunately there are always extra events and party’s during the New Years week. Those events don’t normally happen the rest of the year and are out of our control. Our team strives to create an enjoyable environment for all guests, so our maintenance and pool cleaning staff adjusted their schedules to minimize any potential disruptions during your stay. The beautiful Guanacaste tree in the back yard is protected by law and we love it, that being said it can drop a lot of leaves when transitioning from rainy season to dry season. Regarding housekeeping, we apologize if the frequency of visits did not align with your expectations. We aim to maintain a balance between providing privacy and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. We offer cleaning twice a week and clients can pay for additional cleans if so desired. Your comments about the pool temperature, dishwasher, laundry, and fridge are duly noted, and we will promptly address these concerns. These issues are the first we have heard of this. All appliances are Less than 3 years old. As we did a full remodel in 2020 during Covid. Thank you once again for choosing Casa Redonda, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

We are an adventurous Couple, I'm from a small farm town in IL, I have lived in Tamarindo for 19 years. I came down right out of university and started up a surf shop and surf camp called Iguana Surf. Tracy moved down in 2016 from San Clemente, CA. I currently own a Construction company that builds Custom Homes, Condos, or Hotels. Together we purchased Casa Redonda and did a full renovation, and added three new rooms and a large living room/game room.

We recently had a son who keeps us feeling young, his name is Cole and he was born two weeks into the Pandemic. When we are not working in Paradise, we are traveling to it. I love skydiving, surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, and High altitude mountain climbing. I am currently pursuing the 7 summits challenge with my last successful climb being Mt Everest in 2019. Tracy has two older boys so between being a full time mom and property manager, she loves working out, traveling, and spending time with the family.

We have several other rental properties and love meeting new people from all over the world. We hope to share with you our little piece of paradise, so please let us know if you have any questions about traveling, tours, surfing, etc.... We hope to see you soon!

Location! Location! Location! Casa Redonda is 1 block off the center of town. and 1 block away from the beach. There is a local supermarket just 50 meters away. You can walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes and the main strip in town in less than 5 minutes. You are super close to all the action, but just far enough away from the heavy foot traffic, noise, and commotion of town. If you don't plan to leave Tamarindo, there is no need to rent a car, you can walk to all locations.

The house is very private and has lots of space. It has a beautifully landscaped back yard with pool and sunning deck. The house is equip to handle large groups but still feels intimate. Three of the rooms are spread out around the pool and the main house has two bedrooms, large living room, kitchen and Dining area. The outside pool area has lots of lounge seating, Gas BBQ grill, TV and separate bathroom for people outside.

We understand that with Covid, many family members may work for home, so we have set up individual wifi routers in all bedrooms and in the common area so all locations have very strong wifi. We currently have the fastest residential internet package at 200 megs.
