Please read the whole description and message me before you book.

Please note I am not booking more than 3 months in advance. There is a minimum age of 25. There is a 4 night minimum.
Centrally located in a quiet upscale residential neighborhood between downtown Santa Barbara and UCSB.

An affordable, clean and quiet place in a beautiful setting for a Santa Barbara or visit.

This is my smallest unit and most popular for a single person or a couple who just wants a nice place to come back to in the evening.

Property located on 1 1/2 acres in a quiet residential neighborhood on a private drive.

This unit is part of a large home which is closed off to the main house.

My living quarters is on the opposite end of the house.

This unit has its own patio entrance that leads out to a tropical landscaped garden with a panoramic distance view of UCSB and the ocean.

The bistro set on your patio provides a lovely peaceful setting for morning coffee and light meals.

The bedroom is 13'x10' and the bathroom is 5'x10'.

It has a queen bed and can accommodate up to two people.

This unit is equipped with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and hot water kettle. There is no stove or oven. Please do not bring an instant pot, portable burner etc to cook since I do not have a kitchen sink.

This unit's yard is shared with another unit when occupied and my friendly husky.

I have three vacation rentals on this property. Please inquire about my other units if your dates are not available on this unit.

A car is needed to get to the property. Parking space is provided within the property.

This is a very quiet residential neighborhood where there is no public transit close by or any businesses within walking distance.

Tucker's Grove Park and San Antonio Creek Trail is within walking distance.

5 miles from the Santa Barbara Airport.

10 min drive to UCSB

About 40 min bike ride to UCSB.

Please note this is a non smoking unit.

I do not book more than 3 months in advance for any holiday weekends because I may need the whole house for family events.

Sorry I cannot accommodate any ESA animals due to safety of my family and the rest of my guests. I have a Siberian Husky who is very prey driven but loves people.

Amazing views and fantastic host

We had beautiful weather and gorgeous views from our little patio. Our host was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed including a friendly dog. Would highly recommend.

Perfect

This property was perfect for my stay to attend a weekend art retreat. It was a just what I needed. A clean, quite, and private room. Also comes with a resident yard dog that is very cute.

Long weekend in Santa Barbara

Chris was a great host, responsive and helpful. The room was exactly as advertised and it was clear that the hosts have put a lot of thought into making these rooms very comfortable and convenient for clients. Their pet husky was a joy to give belly rubs to!

Cozy and quiet retreat

Just the type of place I needed. Comfortable with small extras ( I appreciated seeing the fan and space heater). Very clean. Great wifi. It’s a bit hidden which makes it nice and quiet. It’s not far from main roads and the host provides excellent directions. She was very responsive to my questions prior to the trip. I hope to stay there again.

Peaceful Unit convenient to the busy scene

Wonderful location away from noisy downtown but convenient to get there, seemed like 15 minutes to everywhere. Truly peaceful setting in the property's garden. Only ate breakfasts in the room or on the patio but unit really well equipped for that purpose with coffee maker, tea kettle, refrigerator, etc.

Amazing

My wife and I were in the Santa Barbara area to visit my oldest child. All we needed was a place to lay our heads at night. We were very pleased with our accommodations. The room was very neat and clean, everything seemed very well taken care of. Communication with the property owner was EXCELLENT.

My Stay in Santa Barbara

Property is beautiful. Chris (owner/mgr) was very helpful. Room on the small side but I knew that going in (no problem). Basically had what I needed. The smallest thing - needs cleaning under the bed. I'd stay there again!

Wow, very nice place

It is a smaller Apartment but pretty luxurious. The room has everything you need for a stay, the bed is 1,40 meters with a soft mattress and the shower is big in a very nice bathroom. The surroundings are also amazing. But the best are Chris and Lacey. Chris is the very friendly host and Lacey is the gorgeous Husky lady and caretaker :-) We loved it here. Book it if you are alone or two-you will not regret it. Thanks a lot!

Great experience

We were in property #2. My only observation is that the place was TINY. Just a bathroom and one small bedroom (which included a rudimentary kitchen corner and a desk and chair). There was hardly any room to open a second suitcase. Maybe I should have read the description more carefully. Other than that, the place was neat and clean. The bathroom recently redone. The most beautiful aspect of the property was the shared garden. Just wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the lush plants, flowers and perfect grass. Also a nice view. We liked our hosts a lot. They made us feel welcome and at home. Made friends with their dog Lacey! Unless you need a place with more room or want to entertain some guests, this is the place to go. Great experience.

The Perfect Place!

Super easy directions led the two of us to the "Perfect Place" where we enjoyed peace and quiet for 4 nights. Plenty of space for two people to sleep, work at the desk area, hang out on our lanai type patio for morning coffee, a small area to make tea/coffee with a mini fridge, dishes and some treats (Thank you Chris!), a nice closet, tv and spacious bathroom with everything we needed. It was impeccably clean and looked liked everything was recently remodeled. Especially loved the high window in the shower where you could see the beautiful greenery outside, made it seem like you were in Hawaii! We would highly recommend this place as it was a few short minutes to shopping, restaurants and dinning and in a perfect private area/neighborhood. And, we'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Small Getaway

Chris, the owner/hostess, has done a great job with this space. The finishes are beautiful and the ambiance welcoming. The surrounding gardens and view are wonderful. The main thing to be aware of is that it is quite small. The closet and bathroom are large, which is great, but the actual square footage is tiny. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker so you will have no problem with a basic breakfast. There is also a small desk and a wall mounted TV. So everything you need is there and cleverly worked into the design. As long as you are aware of the space limitations, it's a great place to stay while visiting the area..

Amazing place! Great for visiting UCSB.

Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to stay. Chris is an amazing host. She’s very friendly and does an awesome job of providing everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located close to UCSB. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to stay there again.

confused commnication

i was shown the location to park my car. then it was changed the next day, and again a third time. while trying to accommodate the owners wishes while parking in the "new" space, she humiliated me in front of her other guests!!! apparently, i was not pulling in to the parking spot correctly! if she had addressed the issue with concern and care i would have had no problem. however, she did not. how she handled the situation was unacceptable, at best.
