Great House, super Helpful Host

Joseph went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information needed to have a successful trip to the Rose Parade. He helped us with ticket purchase, seating location, parking advice, etc. everything went smoothly and we can now check it off our bucket lists.

Rose Parade Visit- Great Experience

We had a fabulous stay at this property over New Year's. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and had our three children along as well. Even before we arrived the owner, Joseph, was in communication ensuring we were set for arrival. He assisted us with advice on purchasing tickets and even where and when to park for the parade. The home was clean and comfortable with amazing views and a wonderful patio and hottub. It was close to LA, Burbank, Hollywood, Santa Monica, etc. which was very convenient. Highly recommend for a family stay!

Breeders Cup Weekend

Very nice place to stay. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Nice outside area in the back. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Joseph is by far the best host we have had. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Awesome.

Home away from home

Great clean up to date house with awesome views. Conveniently located to grocery store and freeways. First time renting a house vs hotel, this is the way to go! great communication with the owner, very welcoming.

Lovely Pasadena home

This was a very well equipped home in Pasadena with a very nice view of the hills. Plenty of space for my entire group to stay and the owners were accommodating for my slightly larger group. There are a lot of family-friendly attractions within a short driving distance.

Great views

House located in a hill, second floor walk up via external stairs, beautiful views from every room (3 nice bedrooms) and large living room/dinning room and open kitchen. Nice patio with a large square table with very comfortable chairs, next to the table a nice outdoor grill. Owner lives in the same house, downstairs, very helpful, we did not have any problems with house and/or appliances for our stay for 11 days

In town wedding

We were in town for 5 days due to my sister’s wedding. We had to do a last minute vacation rental switch due to a change in family plans. Joseph contacted me personally and was very thorough in explaining the house rules and location of the property. He even was there on the first day and helped my senior aged parents up with their luggage! What a wonderful host. We were very comfortable in their home and Joseph was available by cell phone when we needed him. We definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Great place for a family

Our family had a great stay at this property. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 small children. The property was clean, had nice amenities, and was in a great location. Good communication with the owner was a plus. I definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful View and Convenoent Location

This Pasadena home is very comfortable and the layout makes it feel quite spacious. The large sectional in the great room had plenty of space for all four of us, even with a lounging teenager who takes up most of our sofa at home all by himself! The bedrooms were all comfortable and it was nice that each had it's own bathroom, two ensuite and one in the hallway just outside the bedroom door. We only used the kitchen to make coffee daily and breakfast one morning but it seemed well equipped with plenty of dishes and pans. There is easy access to a grocery store as well. The house was also decorated nicely. We only ran the dishwasher and washing machine on departure, but they would be nice to have for a longer stay. The location was perfect as I liked being in the hills to have the view but it was still very convenient for visiting some of our favorite local spots in Old Pasadena, Eagle Rock and Highland Park. We spent Sunday afternoon at Huntington Gardens which was also easy to get to. Both the 210/134 and the 110 freeways are easy to access from the property which would be great for exploring further on a longer trip. This was a quick 3 day trip to visit family in the area so we did not get to spend as much time at the house as we would have liked, the patio and hot tub area looked lovely and relaxing but we did not have a chance to enjoy them this trip. It was nice that soaps and shampoos were provided, it would be good to also have lotion provided as well as access to a hairdryer (traveling with carry-ons for the weekend we were limited in what we could bring) Overall this is a great house in a nice location suitable for a weekend getaway or a longer trip.

The house was AMAZING and so were the views. The house was very relaxed, all good vibes.

O-M-G!!! This was Amazing, the back patio was a Mecca for entertaining. The hot tub was perfect. We had a family gathering while I was there for the four days. This house is so comfortable. The owner, stayed in communication, he was very helpful and accommodating. I told him this will my house when I travel west. Rose Bowl Parade

Spacious family room and kitchen. Sleeps only 6 two more if they sleep in the living room. Enjoyed the open floor plan for having a family get away for the New Year and the Parade. Three spacious bedroom's each had its own bathroom. Enjoyed the Spa on the cold rainy weekend. Well equipped house, owner occupied. Street very narrow. Only 1 parking spot in steep drive way. This property is 2 on one and you share the driveway. This information was not posted. Great view of the mountains and very quiet neighborhood. Very steep stairs to the front door. Owner recommended Bistro 45 excellent choice for a birthday celebration. Joseph super easy to contact and communicate with, he answered question quickly. We enjoyed the stay and convenient 7 minute drive to the parade.

A great spot for a holiday visit

The house worked well for our adult children to congregate for meals and celebrate Thanksgiving. The Mountain Views were terrific as was the location. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking around the area.

Amazing place and amazing host!

This house was immaculate! Joseph was awesome and extremely accommodating! Communication was great! Everything worked well, instructions for everything in the house were clear and included videos. Grocery store around the corner was very convenient. Hot tub was amazing especially after a long day of exploring Los Angeles. This was one of my best VRBO stays! I could go on and on about how awesome this house was, but in conclusion I highly recommend staying here!

Great property and location!

We stayed over a long weekend for a family wedding. The home is located on a hillside with amazing views and has a lovely backyard patio. The host was very communicative and accommodated me when I realized I had booked the wrong dates. We were able to get into the home a day earlier than reserved, which was much appreciated as we had to prepare for a small gathering Friday evening prior to the wedding. The home has MANY steps up to the entrance, which could be problematic for some guests. The bedrooms are spacious and the home is very comfortable, with a large open living space. The location is close to downtown Pasadena, the Rose Bowl, and many other local attractions.

Pleasant Way stay

This is a very comfortable and spacious property, great location, would definitely stay there again! Owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Easy access to Pasadena Old Town but also a great jumping off point for exploring Eagle Rock and Highland Park neighborhoods. Scenic neighborhood with wonderful walking opportunities. Well-appointed kitchen and a lovely hot tub make it all extra special.

Spectacular

This property is everything you would imagine it to be. Spacious, airy, spectacular views thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows across the entire living room area, a retreat-like secluded backyard patio, luxury-hotel-like linens on the beds, and more. It has a secluded feel thanks to its location in the Pasadena hills, but it is just minutes away from Old Town Pasadena and has easy access to the freeway to take you to Hollywood, Downtown LA or any other place your tourist plans beckon you. Joseph is an excellent communicator and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect before and during our stay. Highly recommended!
