Make yourself at home at this delightful hideaway - perfect for a romantic getaway for two. Comprised of two separate vacation rentals, this duplex is just three blocks from Main Street in the city of Springfield. From foggy mornings to sunny afternoons spent meandering around town, returning to home base will be a treat with a compact, but full kitchen waiting for you to whip up quick snacks or full meals. When nights draw to a close, the flatscreen TV and plush sofa will make for the perfect setting to pop up some popcorn and stream your favorite shows or movies before retiring for the night.

What's nearby:
Boasting a convenient location, you will have no trouble grabbing a latte from the Washburne Café down on Main, dining at one of several local restaurants, or popping into a few unique boutiques. When you want to venture out a bit further, take a stroll along the stunning Willamette or zip over to downtown Eugene for even more fun including the University of Oregon campus, just a few miles west. And if a beach day is on the agenda, the scenic 70-mile drive to the ocean is well worth it, as there is nothing quite like the Oregon Coast!

Nice rental in historic Springfield district

Easy walk to downtown Springfield and Island Park and a short drive from Eugene and UO, this apartment is comfortable and well-appointed. Great neighborhood!

Very quiet and relaxing

Easy to find and within a mile of river walking trails. Good for a dog and for a family of 4. Clean, bright, and charming. Can park car in Heron Park and walk to Autzen Stadium in 20 mins.

Great location!

The home is in a great location in historic Springfield. It's walking distance to many great bars, restaurants, and the game day shuttle to Autzen stadium. The downtown area was quiet and extremely clean! The reason I'm giving the home 3 stars is because the beds were very uncomfortable and the house, including the bedding, could have used a deep clean.

Great Springfield location

I enjoyed staying. It was for a family emergency so it was a last-minute booking. I could hear the person upstairs walking around, but it was not excessive at all. The bed was comfy. The couch in the living room could’ve been a little more comfy, but it worked for what I needed during my visit. I would definitely book it again. It was quaint and simple, but worked exactly for what I needed.The only thing I would change I didn’t get my checkout email until I already left so there were some things on the checkout requirement that I did not complete which I wish I would’ve known. I believe I did get a charge for that but I’m not sure I’d have to look back so if you stay, make sure you pull the sheets off the bed And if there’s dishes, put them in the dishwasher, which I didn’t have any of those lol

There were no recycling instructions. The property owner should have printed recycling and TV instructions on the premises. The garbage cans should be clearly marked for recycling.

House for NON2023

We stayed in this same house the year before. It was not as well cared for as it had been the year before. The host, Vacassa, was not very responsive when we needed assistance. We have already booked a different house for NON2024. I am sure it will be cleaner, and have toilet paper.

Be aware that it is a shared laundry, and the laundry room is the only way into the apartment. Several other rentals in the area use it, so you may very well be surprised by a stranger when you open the door to leave your rental. When I asked VRBO about it, they just told me to schedule my laundry needs accordingly. So, a brush off. It looked clean initially. I think I gave it a 3/5. But then we went to bed and realized our feet were black. And the next day in the process of sweeping up, we started pulling debris out from under furniture. There was a spider squashed on the wall that had been left, and there were cobwebs in the bathroom. So I can't speak to the cleanliness standards set by Vacasa as described in the little tag they left hanging on one of the doors. There's one bed crammed into a tiny room, and it is not comfortable. The cooling does not extend to this room so here's hoping you're a hot sleeper. The two fold out beds are almost unusably old, the sleeping pads are like 3 inches thick and the frame is bent. Additionally there was some guy who kept hanging around the laundry room and the front porch, and then banging around upstairs. There was no communication that this was anyone associated with the property, and that's really not a comforting thing when you're alone in the house with a baby. The final 2 days of our stay were rented to some loud family on the other side who took all the parking spots. The only plus to this place is it's very walkable.

Springfield

The space was clean and as advertised. The instructions said to enter the back via epad into the laundry room. Then there was a second epad that entered the living space. We were gone most of the day and came back to get our dog's'insulin. The second epad died. We were on hold for 30+ minutes with Vacasa. When they finally answered we were on the phone for another hour. We asked them for the code to the front door epad(door #3). Apparently they either didn't have it or just wouldn't give it to us. I explained repeatedly that our dog will go into a diabetic coma, have a seizure or possibly die. They never did fix it or give us the code for the front door. My husband finally removed a screen and crawled through a window. We had 10 minutes to spare to get the medicine. We've always been so pleased with Vacasa properties. Always clean and usually good customer service. It was disappointing. Vacasa not the house.

Sleeping Accommodations are horrible

It’s actually a great little place to stay. Clean, quite, welcoming and great shower! The soap pump in the bathroom was broke and the lock on the bathroom did not work. I normally would not even bring that up but because of the mattress issues it just makes the smaller things harder to ignor. Never in my life have I slept in a bed that was so old/hard. I am not only talking about the bed in the bedroom I am talking about the 2 hide away beds as well. Both my husband and I woke up so sore and out bodies just hurt. The mattress situation is just unacceptable. Never have I complained about any of the many VRBO rentals.

Great price and location for us

Probably the best communication with the landlords. Checked in with access promptly and checked backed to make sure there was no problems. Allowed late check out for reasonable price. I would stay again

Great location

Was in a great location 5 min walk to downtown main street with lots of cute shops and restaurants. Sun room off the front was nice as an added bonus space that could be closed off from rest of house. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay again

Not able to cancel reservation

A mistake was made when making the reservation and the property was reserved for the wrong dates. Per the cancellation policy, we were not permitted to cancel. I understand the policy but would have appreciated some flexibility. Very disappointing.
