Perfect place to stay for a beach getaway!

This property was clean with plenty of linen throughout your stay, local to good restaurants across the street, and right on the beach! The balcony view was our favorite part. Would stay here again!

Very clean family condo

The building itself looks a bit worn, but inside the condo is very clean and updated. The other people staying when we did were families (aka no loud night partying) We enjoyed our trip.

Throughly enjoyed our condo. It was the second year in a row that we stayed at Perdido Skye. Location is perfect. Food and shops across the street and in walking distance. Condo was clean and stocked. Just bring detergent if you need to wash clothes!

It’s a small group of condos which I loved. No waiting forever for an elevator no looking for parking spots not crowded on the beach! Perfect in EVERY WAY! Clean exactly what we needed for our family.

Perfect location, everything you need

We had a great time during our 3 night stay. Great location, right on the beach. Condo was clean and had all the necessities. Bathroom was small for our family of 5 and the bunk beds were shorter than twin bed size but our younger kids slept there so it was fine. We will probably look for a bigger condo next time but we were perfectly happy since it was a short vacation.

Perfect

Property had everything we needed. The bunk beds are truly toddler sized beds, but my two teenagers slept on the hide-a-bed so no issues. Place was clean, and view was amazing! Had everything we needed. Good location for day trips to Pensacola but so nice to come back to a more peaceful/quiet location. Good local restaurants as well on Perdido key.

The only 2 things that was wrong the couch smelled like puck and the back door didn’t lock. The other than that it was great we stayed there last year the same room we had this time.

Clean, remodeled, some issues

This place is in a good location, walking distance to some restaurants, and right on the beach. It is an older building, but the condo has been remodeled and looks nice. However, some things are overlooked. The kitchen sink leaks, the bathroom has mildew over the shower wall, and there is very little storage in the bathroom. The bunk beds are too short for anyone over 5’4”. My two 16 year old girls had to sleep on the sleeper sofa and the mattress is very worn.

Pluses and minuses

Pluses: We always enjoy our stay at the beaches of Perdido key! The condo was all it was supposed to be and had great experience with Southern Rentals! Minuses: Bad experience with the Beach service company, Ike’s, they would setup chairs and umbrellas daily right up front with no more than a couple rented. Made us move once by setting up right on top of us! Upset the wife for the rest of the day!!! They never setup in the same locations! Rude and no boundaries!!!

February stay

Yes the place was nice for a short period of time. We didn’t like the neighbors so close with the slamming of the door of smoking marijuana but I did like the end unit with the extra windows on the side. Few issues were no kitchen towels no cleaning supplies so we ended up buying stuff. We did leave plates there and dishwasher soap and clothes soap and a few other items for the next person. I would possibly rent it again next year but not if the rates are going up because there was no manager on site there were no activities in the building things like that.

BED BUGS

We first checked in place was dirty wife had to mop floor clean food off of the table and stove top that was stuck to them. Bath tub was not clean either. First night there my wife was getting bites. We are not familiar with the biting insects so we weren't sure if this was coming from beach,pool or what. We found bed bugs in the bedroom after 8 days of continuous bites showing up. We put one in a zip lock bag to show southern vacation rental. They had to confirm it was a bed bug before moving us for our last night before our flight out. Southern vacation rental did have us leave all of our luggage in the room so it could be cleaned and shipped back. I suggest to anyone staying any where other than their own home you learn how to inspect beds and units for bed bugs before you bring anything in a condo or hotel room.
