Milford, CT has for well over 100 years had a thriving summertime beach community. This is an original vintage beach cottage that has evolved through the years to a darling year round home. A stand alone cottage with a driveway and small beautiful fenced yard, relaxing on the beach close by or on the ample deck is delightful. There is a communal parking lot steps away where you may park another car. This 954 sq. ft. home has two stories and a basement. There is one bathroom with a sweet clawfoot tub on the first floor off the kitchen. In this bathroom is a lovely vintage cut glass circular window above the toilet.

The kitchen is more than well equipped with a gas stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, countertop oven and a combination full and one cup coffee maker. Pots and pans, regular and plastic dinnerware and glasses are available. The center island with butcher block top is handy for food prep and making sandwiches for the beach! Speaking of the beach you can be on the beach with a 3 minute walk! The refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker that will makes lots of ice and a freezer for your summertime treats.

The living room has a wall mounted TV, recliner chairs and and couch that opens to a queen size bed.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with the master having an en suite bathroom with good size shower. The bed is queen size. Access to a deck off this bedroom gives you a place to unwind with a beverage or watch the stars, even fireworks from the beach on holidays!

The other bedroom has a trundle bed that makes for one or two twin beds.

Breezes off the beach are wonderful, but the cottage has air conditioning for perfect comfort all the time.

The owner has left lots of information about the area and summertime events, fun places to see, do and eat! Or you can just lounge on the beach...your choice, of course!
