Slip away to 33 Emerald Beach Way, this craftsman style bungalow in Blue Mountain Beach located off of the beautiful Scenic 30A is nestled in the beautiful community of Highland Parks. Stay in the heart of Blue Mountain Beach and enjoy all there is to do and see nearby. A quaint town with an old school beach feel that has balanced the love of old, with a thriving new restaurant and business community. You will find a unique dining experience or cute shop around every turn. This is the perfect place for families that want to escape the norm, relax a bit and take a deep breath. your family will also enjoy the convenience of the 3 different public beach access points all within 1 mile. The Resort style pool is also incredible and just a few steps from the front door.

`Current Situation` has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 1 half bath. On the first floor, is a King bedroom, spacious living room with a sleeper sofa, kitchen and dining room as well as half bath and a screened in porch for enjoying your morning coffee. Upstairs you will find a large master suite with a king bed and en suite bath, King guest bedroom and shared bath, along with a Bunk bedroom including a full over full and twin over twin bunks and a laundry room.

Blue Mountain Beach, with its hilltop dunes, presents spectacular views of the South Walton coastline. This special part of 30A is named after its native blue lupine flowers, and is known for its unbelievable sandbars for fishing and surfing. Blue Mountain Beach offers delicious food choices, beach boutiques, art galleries, and a small general store all within a short walk from the home. Don`t forget to try the best homemade ice cream in the south at the Blue Mountain Beach Creamery, a very popular hot spot on 30A. Tacos and Margaritas await you at Red Fish taco a true Blue Mountain Gem! And for some super healthy food, you`ll want to stop in at `For the Health of It` for a delicious smoothie. There is something for everyone at beautiful Blue Mountain Beach.

* A starter set of toiletries and products are provided when you arrive. this includes 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampooo, conditioner and bath soap along with 1 roll of paper towels, kitchen towels, a sponge, dish soap, a few detergent pods and laundry pods just to help you get settled.

Wonderful family vacation

Our host was so accommodating and went above and beyond for us on an issue. The house was beautiful and the kids had a blast being driven around in the golf cart. Good memories and time with the family.

Amazing House!

This house was super clean! The owners were very timely in answering questions. The house was built with amazing detail and floor plan. The decor was spot on. This was the perfect place for us as it was close to restaurants and also tucked away near the forest for a little peace and quiet.

Great Place

Clean, new, nice decor. Loved how it backed up to the forest. Had a bear walk right down the street on the first morning. Golf cart was very helpful. If I’m being picky, the only negative was parking on this corner lot… really tight. Otherwise, it would be absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Best Vacation Home

My family & I took a 7 day vacation in Santa Rosa Beach. This home, “Current Situation” was a piece of Heaven- A true Gem. This home provided my family the most comfortable, beautiful, & relaxing place. This home offered more then I could have imagined. We all felt right @ home. Shawna, the property manager was so kind, took the most excellent care of all our needs, & was always available when needed for any questions we had. I can’t say enough great things about her & my stay here. I am so grateful for this opportunity I’ve had-looking forward to staying here again in the near future💛

Beach Funness

We had a great time at "The Situation". It was super nice, had plenty of space, and had plenty of amenities. There was a golf cart that sat 6 and was very useful to take to the beach which was maybe 5 minutes away. There was also a very nice community pool within walking distance with a cool three story tower you can go up and see the beach from. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had smart TV's in all the bedrooms and and the living room. There were bikes below the house, inflatable tubes, sand toys, beach chairs, a propane grill, and other things! The community the house is in is very nice and felt very safe. 10/10 would stay at again.

“Current Situation” - Review

The home is beautiful, we enjoyed the extra amenities such as the golf cart, bikes, and beach gear. The property is located approximately a mile away from the actual beach - so just be mindful if you have little ones/gear in tow. We waited outside of the property for an hour after being told they would text if it was ready early. So it was a bummer we weren’t communicated with that it actually was ready. The floors did have sand on them upon entry, but not a big deal. Please note that no one checks for bands at the pool. Overall, a great space with extra amenities, just not as close to the beach as we thought.

Great House!

We had a wonderful time staying at Current Situation. The house was beautiful. The neighborhood was so cute and really quiet. We loved sitting on the screened in porch and listening to the frogs and the fountain in the pond out back. The kids loved riding the golf cart and being able to take it to dinner every night. We didn’t get a chance to take the bikes out, but it was so nice to have those as an option too. I was really impressed by they amount of beach supplies that were at the house. Since it was vacation we didn’t do a lot of cooking at the house but from what I saw there were plenty of dishes and utensils. Checking in and out was super simple and the communication was great before and throughout our stay. There’s nothing bad I can say about the house or the experience we had. Although I’m afraid it’s ruined our expectations at future rentals. Hopefully we’ll make it back again sometime!

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay! The house was so cozy and clean! The kids loved riding the golf cart to the pool or for ice cream! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home which made our trip so relaxing! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful home. The beds were comfortable, especially in the large master room. All the furnishings were very nice and fairly new. We had everything we needed, just like home... My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing week at the beach

Our favorite things about this house were many: the outdoor WARM shower to rinse off the sand, sitting on the porch (back and front) and listening to the frog symphony from the pond, cruising around town on the golf cart, the multitude of available towels, comfy beds (although we wish the pillows weren’t so firm), hot water that never runs out, a great kitchen for cooking, the neighborhood pool and hot tub/fire at night. In short - we loved our stay. A suggestion for the owners : a few rugs at the entry way would make it much easier not to drag sand all over the house. We got around it by putting a beach towel down as a rug.

Great place. Close to beach (0.3 miles ). Quality amenities in the house and a very clean house.

Clean modern house close to beach. High end amenities in the house. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The use of the golf cart and bikes for getting around was a huge plus. The bikes were good quality and the golf cart was so useful I cannot even say what we would have done without it. The rental agency was very responsive to our needs. I will say that we have never dealt with a better owner and rental agency and we have been renting on 30A for many many years.

Very disappointed

Horrible parking. Security woke us up at midnight and threatened to tow cars. I explained this was a celebration of life. Told me we would have to park 5 miles away. Property was not as advertised at all
