Everything that Edisto has to offer is at your fingertips. Restaurants and shops are three blocks away, and the beach is a leisurely stroll around the corner. Bring or rent bicycles and discover an incredible way to explore your surroundings and get acquainted with island life. Or, if you're planning to stay put, the screened porch is the ultimate shady place to enjoy a book, a delicious Lowcountry meal, or a game with your friends. A small tidal creek runs along the back of the property and can be viewed from the second screened porch, located just off of the dining room. Peaceful Edisto traditions start here!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful property, well stocked with necessities. Ideal location to the beach, but tucked back off the main road. Wish we had known about the erratic hours of the local restaurants, but figured it out. Clean beaches and friendly people!

Perfect Christmas Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here For a week over the Christmas holiday. There were eight of us (five adults and three teens), and the beds and rooms worked out just right for all of us. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we appreciated being able to do a fair amount of cooking during the week. It was comfortable, accessible, and very functional. We will seriously consider staying there again.

See the ocean, see the marsh

I could enjoy the view of the ocean from the large front deck, and I could sit in the back and see the beautiful water birds. The set up for the house is great with two bedrooms upstairs and the master is downstairs. The kitchen is great and lots of places to eat as a family.

First time to Edisto Beach

Overall this home was great and everything as listed! It didnt impact our stay but there was a lot of stuff stored in the closets that there was no way to use them for clothes or storing suitcases. Will definitely consider this home on future trips!

Had a great time at the beach. House was perfect. Kitchen well equipped, rooms comfortable and will definitely be back next year. Atwood handled a couple of minor issues for us in a very timely manner. No complaints about anything. Thanks

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous experience with both Atwood and the home we rented. The home was beautiful and spacious for a family reunion of 8 people. The screened porch provides evening get togethers. We are coming back in October!

Great house in a great location!

Great floor plan! Easy short walk to beach, quiet street. Overall the house is great. Has everything you need! I would recommend to all homeowners to install gates/ latches at doors and stairways that are hard to reach for small children as this is a safety concern for small children! Only bad thing I can say is the cleaning crew does not clean very well, but this was addressed with management and taken care of!

Perfect stay

This house is in a perfect location for a short, easy walk to the beach. It’s only a very short drive to various restaurants, grocery store and shopping. The house has a tidal creek behind it, so there is no traffic or noise . The big trees afford shade all times of the day. The house itself is clean, updated, and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything you need for preparing meals for even a large crowd. The beds are very comfortable. And the screened porch is large, room for outdoor meals and plenty of space for rocking chairs! Perfect place for future stays!

Great Home in a Great Place

We recently stayed at Big Oak Landing in Edisto, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! The home is located on a quiet street, just a short walk to the beach. The house was clean, and we had a comfortable stay, plenty of room for everyone. In addition, it is a quick ride over to several shops and restaurants, including the coffee shop, ice cream parlor and grocery store. I am originally from the UK, and traveled quite a bit when I was in a band….And I must say, that Edisto Island is one of my favorite places in the world to visit. I find the easy pace of the island to be truly marvelous. We will certainly stay in this home the next time we are back in Edisto.

Love this place!

The house is very well equipped for a home away from home. The kitchen is stocked with all necessities and has plenty of storage for food and plenty of counter space for food preparation. The beds are very comfortable. And bedrooms are spacious. The house is well maintained and very clean. The back overlooks a tidal creek, so the view is peaceful. The big screen porch and big outside deck offers lots of outdoor space for eating, rocking, gathering! The house is just a minute’s walk to the beach. So convenient. You are within a mile of shopping, groceries and eateries. Other restaurants are within a quick drive. This house and location offers a perfect setting for a relaxing, fun time at Edisto !

Great for a big family

Quick walk to the beach so people could come and go as they pleased. Loved the screened in porch for the young adults to be noisy while the little kids had the living room. Lots of eating spots for family dinners. Great hang out spot under the deck for late nights and room for hosing the sand off. Shady trees helped keep the house cooler.

Needs a few adjustments

Overall the house was great. There were not enough wash cloths for a week's stay. Please make sure all beds are changed. All the doors in the house either stuck or drug the floor. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking . There was plenty of seating for a large group

A Great Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Big Oak Landing! The home is in a great location...quiet street and an extremely short walk to the beach. The home is well appointed, we had a house full but were all very comfortable. It is an extremely quick drive to most restaurants, and shops, on the island. Our family will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Edisto!

Pictures Are Misleading

The only upside was we had a place to lay our heads. The deck, screened-in porch, concrete, and outdoor shower were full of debris, cobwebs, sand, and leaves. Not sure what happened to the Adirondack chairs on the deck, as they weren't there when we arrived. There is essentially NO cabinet space for dry goods leaving you to use the countertops as storage therefore leaving no room to prep for meals.
